First of all, yes.
Second of all, you do not need a photo ID to buy antihistamines, get cable, electricity, etc. Very few people are forced to buy homes, guns and get married.
Since when do you need a photo ID to get healthcare?

I have never been ID'd at the hospital.

You do realize that not getting married, buying an house, or driving a car eliminates the only cogent argument you had and a huge percent of the population does not fall into any of those three categories.

Employers are required to verify your citizenship when filling out an I9.Unless you have never had a job you had to show your employer id because they can be fined heavily without proof of citizenship.

As for hospitals go to any major hospital in a metropolitan area with security and they require id.So do court houses for that matter i suggest you take a look at what DHS set up to protect our safety.(dont you feel safer now)And just out of curiosity in your world what would stop me from giving the hospital a fake name so that way they cant bill ne just curious because i dont know why anybody would give there real name. Oh yeah i do i remeber now when being admitted they want some form of id,

So basically someone without id could get emergency care life threatening but there still going to want id before you leave.
so now please explain in your world how someone would get there prescription from a pharmacy how would that work. To deny people need ids to function in todays society is stupid.

That is interesting, how did they not know whether you simply gave them false information? I took my kid to the Emergency room and I spent 45 minutes filling out paper work and a big part of that time was verifying who I was and that my kid was my kid...

Voter and Registration Fraud

The problem is actually registration fraud. There is a bunch of it going on as it took me 30 seconds to find tons of info, and this link above is just a quickie that I found. Once a fake or dead person is registered then anyone can physically vote for them, and having to show a photo ID would help to eliminate this at least at the most important point of the process, physically voting.

This is also not a right wing or left wing issue. I don't think Bush would have been President if there was more control like photo ID required as example.

One question back at you...it seems you have no problem with a SS card so why the big deal over an SS card with your picture on it?

Here i think this may show why having ID at voting poll would be a good thing.

Are you insane? I go to the pharmacy and tell them my name. They give me my meds.

I guess you better ask them. They asked me to verify my INS# by saying yes or no to the number they gave me. They read my birthday and address and asked if that was me and we were IN! The other two times I was there for appointments and all I had to do was say I was here for my appointment and give my insurance card at checkout.

Controlled Substances Act and have the Combat Methamphetamine Epidemic Act.Which requires you to show photo id to receive the prescriptions, So again apparently you live in the 3rd world section of the US because where you live nothing requires ID.

You should really look into those laws. They apply to specific types of meds. I do not take drugs that can be used to make meth. I never show ID. I say I am here to pick up my meds and they give them to me.

Most meds the pharmacy has are controlled substances other wise they would be over the counter.Except in this magical part of the US you live in where no ids required.You never have to show your id to rent or buy anything. So let me ask you a question since having an ID can better someones life i dont know by say being able to have bank accounts and jobs.Dont you think giving them a reason to get an ID might help improve there life and get them to move down from the hills and join society?
