The tin foil hats at Walmart are crappy and let way too many signals through. I had one when I was 10 years old and the alien broadcasts got through and made me eat my crayons.

You could make your own like I did. I found the most effective source of aluminum is by melting an old aluminum-frame bike manufactured before 1973 and custom-fitting it to your head, but try not to burn yourself.

But if you'd like to buy one, I know a guy who knows a guy...

actually yes lightning could be a major problem if you have a very large piece of conductive metal on your head.

I personally like the knite helmet, full protection.

If serious you should really look up the cloth they sell thats got copper mesh layer in the middle of it...
Sewn into capes or hats or whatever pleases our style requirements, these cloth farraday cages are really supposed to work to keep stray radio etc out of your head......

Make your own.

And you can protect yourself without such things.
