Nope. The worst is only the worst because they're better at keeping the other guys down than those guys are at pushing the worst off the top. With the worst gone, there's plenty of room to grow.

Like I said, it requires an understanding of human nature. Go study it.

Who needs military with the police as militarized as it is. THey'll just take over the military duties. Probably look forward to it too.

Also, we still would not get invaded if the USA had no military. We got the second amendment. Most militarys wouldn't get far with the US guerllia tactics and 20 to 1 ratio of weaponry.

As with any power vacuum, it would be chaotic and mostly brutal. Kind of like how America stomped into Iraq guns blazing, then "ceased to exist at the next moment". Kind of like that power vacuum, ya know.

Also, let's not bend the truth, America does not hold a "noble" position, it is more a "sword of Damocles" situation. Just ever swinging over everyone's heads.

Right. A country roughly 20 times the size of Iraq is going to be "taken" and pacified by a military power with no navy and no ability to deliver their troops or maintain their supply lines?

Against a population of roughly 350 million people (80% of which are armed) who possess an "education" at least an order of magnitude more advanced than the average Iraqi, who will make a mockery of the Chinese invaders through guerrilla tactics and asymmetrical warfare.

China might share the worlds "superpower" duties in such a scenario, but they would never be able to take North America, and any scenario in which they do is pure fantasy role-playing.

Just nukes.All millatary ,and the so called super powers are just powerful because of there hundred thousand nukes,thats it thats all,if it wasnt for nukes they would be every bodys bitch around the world.

once the hangovers from the celebrating ended.. world would be much safer and stable... no more mass murder for american corporate profit.. travel without the stupid security restrictions that are result of american paranoia and greed ... ppl could sleep at night without fear of being murdered by americans who invaded there country for its resources ... no more mindless violent propaganda movies / tired old remakes of movies from hollywood ... world would be alot more stable without americans poking their noses into everything ... ppl in many countries are intelligent enough to solve their problems without resorting to violence and mass murder for profit the way the americans do ....

yep world would be a much safer and saner place by far without american meddling ...

How well would the internet "work" without the United States. I have heard anecdotes that there are "bottlenecks" in the US that affect the whole system. maybe someone else could comment?

Projecting ultimate military power around the plant allows a country to provide a service to other countries which are unable to protect their resources, the trade of their resources on the world open market and the savings derived from the sale of their resources. These countries agree to trade their resources in the currency of the central bank that is being hosted in the country that is projecting the military power as it is the military and intelligence agencies of the government hosting the central bank that provide the protection for these other country's wealth creation and storage of savings. The savings storage facilities are the central bank and private equality firms, hedge funds etc that then distribute the wealth storing it in public and private debt. In this country the public debt aspect can be observed by the purchases of Treasury Bills by the FED directly, private equality, hedge funds. The borrowed money is then used by Congress to service the U.S. national debt. That translates into more unbridled military and intelligence agencies CIA , NSA etc spending to... maintain the protection racket they, the USG, are in which I just outlined in short. It's a self feeding beast nobody has any idea of how to cage. It would take a global effort to do so.

What would America look like if it was caged? Dunno as a whole, but I know we wouldn't have any credit public or private. We would be like Greece.

The beast would simply migrate over to China and or Russia.
