First off I didn't call anyone an IDIOT and by you calling me an IDIOT shows what you know.

Before you can define the term "Crazy" you would have to define the word "Normal" and as normal politics go its go along to get along and never challenge the Establishment.

Ron Paul isn't NORMAL for politics.

Hence he is a bit crazy.

I like that about him so don't come at me calling names. It makes you sound foolish. I am a RP supporter. I am a vet. I am a father.

Don't call me names.

I would not read too much into this.

The MSM media did the same thing in 2008. Once he dropped out of the race in 2008, the MSM had him on all the time talking about his ideas and they all agreed with him. This is how the MSM saves face and keeps the scam going.

Perhaps the answer really lies in what he has not done.

Ron Paul, like Ling, is a great truth-teller. His voting record is one of the most consistent
this writer has ever seen. No flip-flops are to be found. As well, he is a courageous and wise man, and a heck of an economist. Just ask the Wall Streeters. However, he bears to his fellow countrymen (and countrywomen), an empty pot. He can’t claim to have brought you wars or higher taxes, which we now have. He never brought you an unbalanced budget, which is a perennial joke. He never voted himself a wage increase and, to this day, gives back part of his salary every year. He has always voted to preserve the Constitution, cut government spending, lower healthcare costs, end the war on drugs, secure our borders with immigration reform and protect our civil liberties. Sorrowfully, he was outvoted or shot down on all measures. The Constitution has been chiseled down, government spending is through the roof, healthcare costs are out of control, the war on drugs keeps getting less effective, immigration issues remain unresolved and our civil liberties have been crimped for our own safety. I’ll just throw in that Ron Paul opposes regulation of the internet, which has been a revolution in the exchange of ideas, this article being a case in point.

An army of one, He spent a lifetime delivering and living the same message. Now the road looks bleak and we wished to God the country would have listened, but greed got in the way of heeding wisdom.

Whatever happens in this year's election and beyond. Ron Paul left us with a direction. Can't say any other politician I know of has gifted us this way.

Did he help you? You decide.

You shouldn't look for the government to make your life better you do that on your own. You should be asking how much government control of my life is he going to get rid of and how fast can he get it done.

Well it was more flattering then any other article i have hear about him

I'll give you that. To me it sounded as though they were painting him as a kook and a radical. I don't want Paul to be president but I found them to be a little condescending.

So basically you are saying that you're a fascist!

So going in debt over a trillion dollars per year is... economical?

Cuts need to happen, they need to happen now.

It's like any other situation dealing with debt. It sucks for a while. You need to take the credit card needle out of your arm at some point. You suffer for a while, which leads to future success. The only other option is death of the country at this point.

You can only borrow from peter to pay paul for so long.

"it would kill up to a million and a half private sector jobs" - CNN Reporter

Errrr, more like it would create up to a million and half private sector jobs whilst killing a million and half public government jobs. The government doesn't need to be responsible for managing everything, and Dr. Paul understands the simple fact that in a free market the private sector is much better at getting the job done. Just look at the state of NASA, they are starting to whittle down their budgets for space based exploration and focusing more on cheaper Earth based projects, they can hardly even keep the ISS operational... meanwhile we have some of the first private space companies sending shuttles into space and breaking major ground.

Those are all very good points... not to mention that it's because of his constant and insistent focus on having the FED audited that it actually happened a few months ago. Now we know the FED released at least $16 trillion in secret loans to private companies such as banks and even foreign institutions. So if you think he's done nothing you need to get a grip on reality... he's the only person doing something.

I am not a American so I guess my opinion does not matter to much when it comes to the US presidential race. I have been following the race with quite a bit of interest though, because like it or not the politics of America affect the rest of the world, especially in countries like mine (the UK)

I admire a lot of Ron Paul's policies, getting rid of the Fed (wouldn't that just be a WOW moment?) and the IRS, I am very supportive of his non intervention policy too, and pray he gets elected for that reason alone.

However if he was elected it does bring with it some significant risks to the US economy, it is all very well saying the government shouldn't be so bloated, and to cut a trillion dollars in year one. But to cut nearly half a million jobs in one hit, that would destroy the US economy completely. It is all well and good saying the private sector would pick up those people, we had the same BS fed to us here during the last election, well guess what, the government shed those jobs and they were NOT picked up by the private sector, in fact the opposite happened and unemployment two years later is still rising, every month there are more and more people joining the ranks of the hopeless through no fault of their own.

Getting rid of those employees also has a knock on effect, they will need governmental money in the form of handouts to support themselves, then they have less money to spend and so all their local businesses receive less trade, this enforces them to lay off staff compounding the problem. Business that have grown and and depend on contracts with the government to support those staff, with office supplies and other such items are also forced to either reduce staff or close completely, and then their suppliers and on and on it goes, this is why they state it will cost 1.5 million jobs and they are right. Think about that how much money is lost to the economy when 1,5 million people need government assistance and stop spending.

Also this idea of a free market, it does not work, deregulation does not increase employment, it does not create wealth within a country. All it does is make conditions for employees a whole lot worse. Look what has happened since the stock exchanges were deregulated, look at the outright greed and excess that has arisen from it, it was guilty for the disastrous 2008 crash, and now they want to deregulate them even further, seriously it is madness, it will just cause even more misery in 5 or 10 years time.

I do agree with most of what RP says, and I do agree that governments need to curtail their influence on the people, and that they need to cut back on the burden they cause on the people of a country, but just cutting half a million jobs wont work it will have the complete opposite effect of what they hope for. Yes I want to see and end to the Fed (and all central banks) yes the TSA needs to be shut down. But they need a plan for growth and sacking everyone is not the answer, he needs a plan to put people in work, not put more people out of work.

I do hope RP wins, but I just think they need to rethink how they will save the economy because this plan will make it a lot harder for America.

It took them long enought to realise that RP is the most competent man alive to be the next President
everyone including themself would be better under Ron Paul
and he is the only one who can really do something about the economy
and nothing will improve under Romney and Obama if they are elected

2012 will be a historic year for changes

Ron Paul Destroys the Entire Establishment

Ron Paul is just getting votes for Romney, it may not be directly obvious, but if you read a little between the lines you will see that this is the case. If you don't want Romney in, then vote for someone other than Ron Paul.
