Would that make you happy if China used a nuclear weapon on LA and NY? I'm beginning to get that weird feeling that you are one of those people that enjoy watching bad things happen to USA... Was 9/11 a good day for you?

Funny how everyone's hand is always out for help in one way or another. If other nations don't/won't help, things may get real ugly.

America should have sat back and watched every other nation/country get annihilated.

That is such a horrible thing to say. Where do you people come from? Are you not ashamed to say that to me? I have a thread on how watching 911 happen and the politics of the world after and how it affected me actually.

And please know that I take deep offence to what you just said. What makes you think you have the right to say such horrid things?

As a young adult around the year 2000. I wasnt very political. I was still left but busy with things. The world seemed ok. Then Im watching tv one night with an ex-girlfriend and the news takes over the tv showing New York and the Twin Towers. One of the towers has smoke pouring from the top. I see people jumping from windows. I see a plane come flying along and smash into the other tower. Im thinking,oh my #ing god. i see a tower fall. Then I see another. I see world leaders messages to America coming across the screen including from Saddam. All are saying they are shocked and will help. Im trying to think who would do this? I watched American 24 hour news for the next few months. It was all i did. In that time I see the US Army sent to Afghanistan to kill Afghanis. I was shocked that no media questioned this action. Just blind support. But worse,I see that soon after the attack America is bombing Government buildings in iraq. This was a civillian area. I was outraged. Im wondering why on earth are America dropping bombs on innocent people. The news said they were trying to target Saddam and his family. Like that made it ok. i still havent gotten over it. Only a small part of the people of the west seemed to care or even notice. We all know it only got worse from there. So while the War on terror is being kicked off,Im still left and liberal and very ant-war. People like me waited years to get rid of Howard in Australia nad bush in America. I was so happy when that happened. Finally,we would end the wars and killing. But oh no. The left parties turn out to be as bad,if not worse. The wars and killing continue.

I guess thats where Im going with Dresden and Hiroshimo and Nagasaki. These were all horrific things. It seems like society thinks its ok to support these things,yet you get hysterical and accuse people of terrible terrible things for suggesting that Americas time at the top is over. In my opinion,it is over. Sorry that scares you. Or if you are just plain dispicable,Im sorry about that too.

If anything, America will save Europe, again. Think about this statement, and what it implies logistically to be the other way around.

If anything based solely off of GDP, military might, economic bounce back capability, logistics (which is important in any war nuke or not), support capability (how many carriers Europe got? not many? ok)


I could go on and on. Simple truth is Europe is neutered by their own hands. America (unfortunately) is bred for the fight. We like war on every level. We're like the dysfunctional bastard family at the Denny's restaurant making a scene at table 5. No country to include Russia wants to go at it for the long haul with America and thats why.

We're born, conditioned, programmed, and taught to fight. If anything Europe would fall first due to it's proximity and constant bickering with each other as sovereign neighboring countries. That and sorry, even as the whole Euro is concerned you still wouldn't match production power of USA.

Granted we aint producing much now, but give us a reason like what happened pre WW II. We weren't producing much then either.....then the war happened and we were crankin it out left and right.

Thats why I think this will be a nuke war....quick easy and less mess.....and sorry Europe you'll likely be the first to go. America will get hit under this senerio, but with far less collateral damage. And again your closer to the problem.

So yea, America will be bailing out Europe....again.

We are very capable of standing alone, more so than most, can we use allie help? Sure... Do we need it? No, but is it good to have just in case? Yes.... But to think that we need Australia is funny to me.. There are countries in NATO that we do need, just like they need us, its a two-way street...

Europe already helped in WW3, it began on 9/11 2001 and is only just now drawing to a close.

I dont know why my Govt. does the things it does. Trust me when I say I rarely ever support the choices my Govt. makes... I also hate that US Citizens are hated and judged based off the things our twisted Govt. does.. Many Americans dont support what Bush/Obama have done in recent memory, unfortunatley when election time strolls around and we pick our leader it comes down to picking the lesser of the two evils....

Its a good jumping off point and when you a=understand how America does not help with these things it will remove a barrier to you being less arrogant and unable to accept reality. Its like Iran. They said,they will hit the 15 or so US Bases in the Middle East straight up. No messing around. Why would China,Russia,other BRICS,Iran,North Korea,Pakistan,nations in South America and Africa.... why would they mess around? America is the one they hate. Not us. We dont even like you much.

I am worried about America,but more worried about Australia. If you guys have a problem with China,its nothing to do with us and to be honest,America cant run its country. Europe is likely to watch from the sidelines or just use missiles from a safe distance.Europe hasn't got the money nor the manpower to play a role worth anything.

Iran helped,glad some countries dont want something in return. Iran provides alot of genuine Aid.

I think the vast majority of Americas do agree with you in that we police the world way too much. I say bring all of our troops home, close all the bases and let the rest of the world do as they please.

Each of the last two World Wars started in Europe but the next one has a good chance to start in the Middle East the way things are looking. China may/will be a big player in that one and we may go head to head with them on some fronts but I don't think China or the USA will suffer much in the way of destruction. I think there will be some unwritten rules in this one because of the nukes everyone has.

In the end America and China will survive. If, in the end America is pushed out of Asia, I suspect China will go on a slash and burn policy where human rights are concerned and you are directly in the path of that. Once we are pushed out of the way, you and yours will be slaves for generations. Slaves to one of the most brutal people on the planet.

You do know that China has the worst record on human rights in the 20th century? Hitler and Stalin don't hold a candle to the mass genocide China alone has put on display in their country. Over 30 million have died in a genocidal China in the 20th century, making China the most immature nation on the planet. You have to put Stalin and Hitler on the same team to get to those numbers!

I agree, America is not innocent and we have made some huge mistakes but the country you champion as your savior has a combined kill rate that is just about equal to the two most evil dictators in the last century.
