The rumor came from one who spoke to one of the divers as they (Ocean X Team) were bunkering fuel on sunday in Norrtalje, Sweden. I'm sorry the rumor wasn't the real thing, but I still believe we will know more before this week is over (as stated on their webpage). But I'm thinking that they have found something they find interesting enough to spend even more money on the expedition. If they found nothing they wouldn't go back out there to collect more data.

well I hope so, I am thinking if it is something BIG the .GOV will take it away and we will never hear a thing about it..the divers may even have an accident before the "simple rock formation" is brought to the news to mislead us all....again.

Yea, these guys are just trying to build up some drama. Then theyll probably put out a tweet or whatever, saying its just a geographic feature or some such crap.
Oh well, im not losing any sleep over it lol.

why that picture? it's just the standard scan we've been looking at for a year, with the addition of some lovely monitor effect and a finger to helpfully point it out...
still very very skeptical about the turret idea.
i am certainly no expert on the subject but really
that seems unfeasibly large for a gun. [60m around? what did it fire? cars?]
sure it could be some sort of superweapon, but i am reasonably sure the people who built it may have noticed when it went missing... or at least mentioned when it turned up again.

oh well. time to settle in for another evening of the refresh-the-page-every-two-minutes game.

also re: char-lee, god, what have you.... in my head i read it Chaaarliiiiiiie [we're on a BRIDGE, charlie!]
...sorry.

I guess I could elaborate a little more. This is a snapshot from a video. If you rotate the view 90 clockwise, you might see their poor image reproduction from a different perspective.

When I say that looks like a radar image of a ship on the bottom, thats what I mean. It looks like the top of the turret came off and fell to the bottom and is on its side leaning against the side of the ship. Their rotated, fuzzy, rendering is meant to throw us all off. See how they did that?

Just one interpretation of course.

Yah, I have heard...

I am a fisherman from way back. And every fisherman has their tall tale.

Until we get further "proof by internet" I am holding my breath.

Ooooooh, how dramatic:

Description: What's down there? At this point, it's either the biggest story the world has ever known or a massive publicity stunt engineered to lure in faithful UFO disclosure advocates. Either way, the public (believers and non-believers alike) are waiting for every breathless dispatch. The story began last summer when treasure hunters Peter Lindberg and Dennis Asberg were sweeping an area off the Swedish coast when their side-scan SONAR picked up a large, rounded object on the seabed hundreds of feet below the surface. Initial observation aboard the vessel revealed the object was not like any other sunken vessel ever discovered because of its immense size (200 feet in circumference) and its unusual, circular shape. Not having the means to dive down on the mystery object, its position was recorded and all data saved for later review. 200-foot wide unidentified object at the bottom of the Baltic Sea Another UFO Spotted In Baltic Sea Russia, US Forces Blocking The Crash Site In latest development according to Dennis Asberg "Everything is top secret now because of the risks, hope you all understand this is no game. But the truth will be reported shortly." Read more: www.disclose.tv...

The bit about the Russians blocking this thing may be BS, but until more is known, I guess anything is possible.

Russia and USA blocking the site is BS. Since 1971 there has been an annual military drill in the Baltic Sea - called BALTOPS, with participation from many countries.

I think you may have something there. Looking at ships from the war era, you can see how the roundish part could well be part of a ship and all the other details that you point out.

I was hoping something mind boggling, but I think this a piece of history may be what it is.

There were some huge ships, not sure what the measurements are on this but if you are thinking of looking at the whole of a military vessel...is it way off?
Big ships like 400 ft long and 40 ft ish wide, if we were looking long wise not across?

sorry if its already been posted but theres some interesting comments on

www.disclose.tv...

They mention that the crew are back and what they found was “not of this nature”, and on Monday 11th of June: Dennis Åsberg (Team leader?) posted that “Everything is top secret now... because of the risks... hope you all understand this is no game. But the truth will be reported shortly.”

although i dont know how valid the above information is. there is nothing new on the oceanexplorer website i'm tempted to email press officer for more info.

"Not of this nature" could mean anything thats not a geological in nature, doesnt necessarily mean "not of this earth" lol
So the ship theory could be a valid one but Im just trying think of anything on a WW1 or 2 ship that is 180 or so feet in diameter.
Even the old Juggernauts didnt have turrets that large.

has there been any seismic activity in the area?

I am going to stop debunking this one. I didn't know these guys were trying to raise money for their endeavors. It's hard enough getting funding to do research these days. The last thing they need is people like me raining on their parade. I hope they find the Holy Grail aboard Noah's Ark that is actually a UFO. I'm gonna let this one go...

Thanks for the link to truth fall.

I think they would lose future funding if they pulled as BS stunt...so in my opinion there might be something to this. As for it being a UFO...well it could be the right timing for someone other than a Government to find one.

I think it looks a lot like like a battleship gun turret from WW2 or WW1, but I think its too big for that correct ?

Also its strange that the MSM hasn't picked up on this, everyone loves a mystery.

Information about the dive has been released in the swedish newspaper expressen.se

Picture 1
Picture 2

Link to the article with video (in swedish)

So the anomaly is some sort of sand stone. They also mention it being coaled and a sample is recovered and is being analyzed in a lab. The divers have never seen anything like this before. There was also a hole in one of the stones. They did not get to examine the hole, but want to do this in a future dive.

the thing is, the circular anomaly is 60 meters in diameter.... that means the shortest side, which in shipping is traditionally the width, must be at least 60m.... i say at *least* because the way i read this theory is that the circular anomaly is a hole in the ship... i can't tell from the photo quite where the edges of this proposed vessel would be, but that would be one large boat.
for comparison's sake [and because i went and looked it up for laughs after reading intrprtr's jocularity]
Noah's Ark was only 22.5 meters wide, going by the measurements traditionally repeated.
Now i'm not saying there can't be a vessel that big
but just think of the sheer scale of such an undertaking.
a ship like that, she'd be remembered.
and whatever sunk her..... that would be remembered too.

So the question now is man-made or natural?

The Ocean X Team dove down to the circle-shaped object in the Baltic Sea and met something they never experienced before. First they thought it was just stone or a rock cliff, but after further observations the object appeared more as a huge mushroom, rising 3-4 meters/10-13 feet from the seabed, with rounded sides and rugged edges. The object had an egg shaped hole leading into it from the top, as an opening. On top of the object they also found strange stone circle formations, almost looking like small fireplaces. The stones were covered in something resembling soot.
