Thank you for this thread, OP. My day has been hectic at work, and this helped take my mind off numbers for a while. My spirit guide is the wolverine !

Again, I can only offer my certain calls & suggestions -- which I am afraid fall short in your situation ...

I had an intuition that something is holding you back & there are some events we cannot control...

Know that you aren't alone...ever...but somehow I know you already KNOW that...

Mine would have to be a cat.

Cat was my first word and I've have always felt a connection to kitty cats.
I'm going to be the lady on the block with 100 cats oh and wear cat sweaters too!

Even in a unusual winter, the doves have appeared to me in all forms...physically, spiritually, & alternatively...

Spring is blooming & I notice that the usual ones are building their nests in the cubby spots on the covered porch on the back side of our house...they like to call me over as a supervisor of sorts...they seem to be productive & encouraged by presence, even with my dogs accompanying me...I do call them family...


This is nice to share as I am becoming consumed with "my" new year that is always based on the equinox & not the usual calendar...I imagine that I will be more action oriented than in the past several months & that the doves will encourage me along the way...

First, great news on your mom being at home, & resting peacefully!!! My prayers will continue for you/yours & I just realized we post frequently on a shared thread, so I suspect that we will be hearing less hev. met. from you? Maybe/maybe not....Although I don't consider Ozzy heavy metal, ha, ha...

Really, the first dove? That is strange because they just seem to be around me on both east & west coasts! Weird, huh? I will say "my" doves are more of the grayish variety rather than pure white...will have to investigate that further...

That video you posted brought a tear to my eye, sad & lol @ the same time...but that's me!

This thread is so cool; I hope others who see it & are moved by it, respond...

I have found that when you see your spirit animal sometimes, especially when put to music, it can very easily make you cry.
Even if it is connected to someone close to you. It is a spirit response. IMO

Back when I was a kid, Ozzy, well back then, was considered metal.
Then when Metallica came along...they brought it up a notch.

They normally show up in the early mornings &/or late evenings...

Supposedly, that is when the spiritual & physical realms are transitioning so that is pretty awesome to me...

Also, they are monogamous

My mom is doing ok.

It was confirmed as bladder cancer, invaded into the muscle walls, and she is unable to do chemo because she already has had it for another form of cancer.

So although she is doing ok,
she is not doing well.

They are still trying to figure out what kind of treatment/surgery they can give her.
But thank you for asking and showing concern!


Your dove is an awesome spirit animal.

We all need some peace once and a while.

Hey. Cool post.

I think mine is the spider...huntsmen specifically, and usually big ones.

I hav always been terrified of spiders, but lately I realise they are challenging me to grow in understanding and to overcome my deepest fears and to be brave.

I used to hate and fear them, thinking they were evil.

Now I have come to see that they have sweet spirits like most other animals. I was wrong to fear them. I used to kill them out of fear but no longer do. Although I am still scared of the big ones, I now see that. This fear is baseless and it. Makes me sad. I am still trying to overcome it. In a way, now I love them, but they still scare me.

Often they get on me or I walk into webs or they are on the roof of my car...like massive one was inside w me, nearly crashed.

I have been marked by the spider. One bit. My toe and it went black and nearly dropped off. Was a white tailed or rotting flesh spider. I live in oz.

I like the clan of the cave bear movie how her totem spirit the cave lion marked her with its claw. The spider spirit marked and chose me too. It is a difficult totem to hav but when I don't see a spider for ages I get a bit sad....

Also I think I have a strong connection to cats. And maybe wolves/dogs.


I know what my plant spirit guide is, it's lavender, and it has helped me so much in my life. Also lime plays a part.

Howdy friend
I wanted to share a recent bug that has visited me three times within this past week.
First praying mantis visited me at my dads house

Then the next one was the very next day at my friends house

Then yesterday this one visited my house

I thought that was very neat and interesting to say the least ..

After much meditation and likewise, i've found out my spirit animals are the Snake and the Owl. It is possible to have more than one for sure.

In terms of mythological creatures, it's the dragon, I've always associated with it ever since I was little.

Dragons are always an element of benevolence and ethereal knowledge and prowess in my dreams, but also mean much more to me on a personal level. Showing a mixture of power with grace and intelligence and the elements of magic and the unknown.
