Darn. I was liking what you were saying till this Mormon thing.

I was Mormon for 5 years. Unless you are fully knowledgeable of Mormonism - - - don't go there.

I am not an atheist and had an apotheosis to a cosmic consciousness so I agree with that concept but it does not have the multi-layer that you think. It is not a creator of nature but is just a part of it like you and I.

Are you speaking of layers in our current existence? Or layers from the origin of first consciousness?

Mormonism is just another of the Abrahamic religions based on fantasy, miracles and magic.
They are all myths based and immoral as they are based on human sacrifice.

I understand Oneness. No such thing exists I hope.

How can you understand oneness without experiencing it?

If you have your own consciousness, oneness is impossible or you would never be able to return from it or maintain your consciousness within it. If you recognize the possibility of a cosmic consciousness, then you might be able to understand how you can join it and travel through it, so to speak, yet maintain who you are. Oneness would be death of your consciousness.

There are layers of consciousness there in a way, but not really the type of hierarchical system that you are probably thinking of.
What are you thinking that the hierarchy is based on?
Different levels of what or based on what?

If by first consciousness, you are speaking of what was formed or naturally created by nature, with the death of the first true human, then we are on the same page.
If you mean it some other way then please explain.

Regards
DL

Is your notion of first consciousness supernatural or natural?

Do you believe in fantasy, miracles and magic?

If human of earth encountered a far more evolved being - - - who was able to dematerialize - - - would human consider that fantasy, miracle, magic?

Is physical really physical? Or is it a projection of energy thought?

Your question is too complex to give a Yes or No answer.

Those who do not believe in fantasy, miracles and real magic know they do not.

You do not know if you do or not or you would have stated it.
What else could one conclude from your statement?

DL

Do you believe in miracles and real magic or not?
It is a simple question.

That's one of the things that is different between the atheists and Christians.

Many atheists are willing to admit they're wrong when they have real evidence.

Christians never admit they're wrong and always ignore evidence that contradicts their belief.

They tend to bitch about being questioned yet are quite good at evading issues.
In this way, they show their contempt for others not in their tribe.
