Sorry thought Bush was the president who spent the most?

How many people were on welfare under Reagan?
How many people were on unemployment under Reagan?
How many people were collecting social security under Reagan?
How many people were on Medicare?
How many people were on Medicaid?
What was healthcare costs under Reagan?

Seem to remember Reagan created 25 million jobs gas was 89 cents a gallon i could throw 5000 bucks in a savings account an earn 6% off it also i could throw 100k in a money market and earn 5% a month off it.

Try agian.

Yes, that is true
Which is why I am curious why there is money going to try and defeat Obama..he will win, its him or his mental clone (according to many righties whom are skipping this cycle)...and if all things are the same, go for the dude with the better personality.

The only question on this cycle is house/senate.

Contrary to pop perception, I like a balance between them. If a Dem is in the office, I am a bit more comfortable with a sensible repub (slight) control congress..then the two come together to negotiate policys and meet somewhere in the middle...checks and balances.

Absolute power is a corrupting force, be it for person, party, or anything else. But, the issue I have with todays politics is everything being hyper-partisan. the no compromise attitude is a destroyer of any dialog or sensible action taken and will eventually push for extreme measures by either party to get things enacted.

The stuff listed in the OP that obama

can not trust him.. Vote for obama knowing he is a muslim communist?

The people voting for Obama now
just want to see america in chaos,
want to tear the system down, eat the rich.
That is why obama is loved by the american haters.

There hate for jews is the most racist things
and hitleresc i have ever seen.

Remembr what is being taught in school
If you talk bad about or dear leader off with your head
in the stocks you go, put in jail, or a re-ed camp
so you can worship at the all mighty sotoro

Money is going to defeat Obama because there are quite a few out there who can't stand him personality is meaningless to me.

I want what everyone wants putting this country first instead of their own ideology.

Cause ya..thats what I clearly want to see and do.
but, how did you know this? I thought that manifesto was hidden to all but the ones in the liberal communism camp...someone needs to check the mailing list.

Man I am hungry...my neighbor is a hard working conservative...I wonder if he is rich enough to eat yet (they are more tender when they make 1m$ annually or more)

aka, you want your ideology to be put first instead of opposing ideology.

and I think you spelled Romney wrong..however, I can see how Money is a common typo...not sure if there is a difference actually.

No money is going to defeat Obama money elected him.

Now I see why the other forums on the net say ats is running rampant with pure hate.

Rampant with hate??

It's been said that all black people love watermelon, chicken and 'kool-aid', can I ask what does kool-aid have to do with this thread,is it because obama is black?

I think this has been explained at least twice so I won’t rehash their fine explanations. I will point out that it was me (The OP who used the Kool Aid logo) that criticized a completely racist post about Dr. Condoleezza Rice, so please explain why (as a racist) I would do such a thing.

It’s curious how the left always throws up the race card but falls silent when examples of their own racism are brought forward.

But then again, this is the ats, so I guess it is welcomed and nothing is wrong with this scene of subliminal racism.

What a joke this site has become!

Spoken like someone who can’t defend her point.

Hey, Popsmayhem!

I think you had a typo. It’s not just that the American haters love him; THEY MADE HIM! He is the poster child for all the haters of American freedom and our constitution. They got exactly what they want!!

But you're right…they do LOVE him! That's on full display. And it must be unconditional love too because he damn sure hasn't made anyone's life better.

Seriously??

There’s a difference (to some) between growing government and growing the economy. I hate to break it to you but the ‘government’ isn’t the ‘economy’. Reagan added how many net tax payers???

The four pillars of Reagan's economic policy were to reduce the growth of government spending, reduce income tax and capital gains tax, reduce government regulation of economy, and control money supply to reduce inflation.

I don't know where everyone else is, nor do I really care.

In 2008, the nearby gas stations were hovering around 3.0099 a gallon. Was Kerry going to try again? Who would be the Republican? Would Bill Clinton be the first "man" of the White House?? Blech, and perish the thought.

As soon as Obama pulled ahead and proved to be the Democrat contender, gasoline prices skyrocketed. From $3, to $4 to almost $5 per gallon. Basically a guarantee that the Republican's nominee had no chance.

Let's see if that holds true now.

If gasoline prices drop to near $3 per gallon, the big oil companies want Obama. If they rise to $5, they want the other candidate.

And I still think "YES WE CAN!!!"
But there are too many ill-informed people out there, people who don't understand, whether deliberate or otherwise. And there is probably just as many unwilling to take a chance because maybe the "status quo" is good enough for them.

I work in the tech sector, construction if you will. I do cell sites and can raise a wind turbine.
And I'm unemployed. How's that for investing in energy?

I find it odd that I was able to get out of the "service" industry (delivering pizza) when Reagan was in office and fell back into service when Clinton came in. When Bush II came in, I was able to use my knowledge to get a job which nearly doubled my salary. Along comes Obama and I've struggled since then. And now, I'm unemployed but have 15 companies asking me to submit a resume. Last month: 0 companies interested.

On the up side, I suppose if Obama is re-elected, at least I'll have health care. And that would be the same health care I've had available to me through Medicare, Medi-Cal and MISP programs here in California since before I was eligible to work.

We could 4 years ago, and we still can today. We rolled the dice and came up losers.
Unemployment statistics look better now than they did 2-3 years ago becauce fewer people are eligible to claim unemployment.

Time to grow up, people. Take charge and make the government do what they are supposed to do.
Time to grow up, people. Take charge and remove the people in government who aren't productive.
