I think there are many US Marines in Australia.
I hope they do not get involved again where they do not belong.
Who am I kidding, we know why the foreign force is there...
No, no you have it wrong the marines aren't manipulating this. It was the American CIA that plotted the coup against PM Rudd.

Succession?
No, not really.
The CIA orchestrated the overthrow of Whitlam, so it isn't a far stretch to say that they done it to Rudd as well.

Mining is not hard work considering the automation involved and the rest of your country has as much right to profit as the state you live in considering that its a natural resource that's being mined.

How about you stop the whinging WA and share the wealth with all Australians, we're in this together and the whole country needs infrastructure upgrades, not just WA.

Barnett's comments kind of sh.t me.
If they didn't have all that precious stuff in the ground and off-shore, WA would be one big vast red-neck hell-hole. A real life Mad Max with a few Wolf Creeks thrown in for good measure . Anyway China's bubble is about to burst anyway - so we'll all be active participants in this Mad Max reality sooner or later.
Peace Out

agreed.. i heard Whitlam got the flick because he tried to insist on inspecting Pine Gap.. what kind of country is this where our PM can't even inspect an installation on our own soveriegn territory?

"The CIA's aim in Australia was to get rid of a government they did not like and that was not co-operative… it's a Chile, but in a much more sophisticated and subtle form."

Anyways...Australia has the potential to be a Great Country...but not necessarily the will.
