Wow, I have goosebumps! Seriously, a chill. Yet, I am so happy to hear that it sounds the same, for the most part, because I felt crazy as hell and my husband and I were trying just so hard to rule everything else out. In the end, we felt we just had to accept that we just went through a very weird experience. Now that I know I wasn't the only one, it makes me feel better

Like I saiid, we're in Colorado, south of Denver, and with you being in Ohio, well that makes it more interesting, doesn't it? It's funny, all the people that don't believe anything without a recording, it's like you can't even think about it in that moment, you're so overwhelmed with trying to figure out what's going on, it stops you dead in your tracks. With how far apart all the incidents are, all over the world, it's just a matter of time until everyone hears it or at least all regions, in my opinion.

So I took to Facebook yesterday, asking anyone in my area if they experienced what I did. To my surprise when I checked it this morning I had received a few responses.

Jason ***** Bro, I called 911 that Friday morning when loud explosions woke me up. The operator said she'd received other calls about it and they were looking into it. That's all I know man.

So I took myself down to the police department down the road to inquire about what had taken place. The official story I'm getting is fireworks being set off at Cotton Market Venue for a graduation party. I asked why would a graduation party be going on at 4am, with a fireworks show big enough to rival New Years Eve? She had no answer for me.

I have a friend who works as a server there and worked that night in question. According to him the party ended at 1am with no fireworks being set off, all guests & staff were long gone by 4am.

Hmmmmm.....so was this a cover up?





Keep digging......there certainly appears to be more than meets the eye with this. The fireworks explanation doesn't explain the power outage, the copters and the animal behavior.

Try to investigate the graduation more. Maybe you can find out if there were even fireworks involved. It would have had to been a college graduation, no high school ones are happening yet, are they?

Not to mention that a fireworks display lasting 40-45 minutes would cost several hundred thousands of dollars. He one we have every year for the fourth of July lasts about 20 minutes or so and is nearly $70,000 for that length of show.

Chris, did you see my prior post indicating the correctional facility? It's in the general direction you mentioned in the u2u and could possibly account for some of what you experienced. However, I would expect some sort of mention in the local news.

That's one of the oddest things about this entire situation, multiple reports to the police and no media coverage at all. Even an explainable event that generated that much attention would be reported if it were an easily explainable and mundane happening.

Have you had any further communication wih your firefighter friend about that charge that was going on over the radio as to what they thought it might be?

I know you probably seen this stament over a numerous of time but i believe it is a secret military execersie drill. They might of have cut power and communication off as a routine for their excersie. I can only say that would be a perfect timining to practice by cutting of all commucations for helio tactics. Also the constant gun fire sounds like a 50 cal. 50 cal are loud and constant. The helio guns are similar to that. Just remeber in today's war we fight in urban combat. So the military must practice in urban or similar like settings. Also the government has the rights to involve or notify local authorities and the electric company that an excersie is about to take place. If it is a secret manner local authorities are sworn into secrecy and it is need to know basis. This type of events happen plenty of times during the day or night but no one knows what is really going on. Truthly some of the excercises are not excersises it is real events taken place. You will not know after until it is declassifed or the event went to hell.

Yes, the fans bogging down has been happening here recently. Just last night it was constant.
We've been wondering what the heck is going on and then this morning I see your comment on that.

I keep checking back for updates on this fascinating story. You might want to check out Linda's site and maybe even contact her. She's been doing a lot of investigating on this type of phenomenon. I believe it's some sort of military exercise that the general public is not privy to.

the entire US power grid has several different types of transformers fuses and shunts in to protect against power spikes either from lightning or internal spikes. If you have a sever spike go through you can get a major transmormer explosion that will generate an electomagnetic pulse that can blow other transformers fuses and shunts that could explaine the charge in the air and the strange behavior of the dog because animals can pick up on electrical fields. also most power companies in the US will use helicopters to inspect and work on high voltage lines. If this is what happened then the power company would not admit it because they would be liable for any damages due to the power spike. However i would not dismiss the fact that it could be of an extraterestial origin because i do not believe that in this whole vast universe that we are the only life. Weather bor not htey have visited us that is another story and i will leave that for you to decide

I don't know if there are any that wouldn't fry everything in the neighborhood, but odds are there is something by now. Just a thought

My stepdad works for the power company and he says there were no transformer or powerstation issues.

As far as the alien angle, I'm not going to go that far, but you never know.

i have done work with several diferent police depts and the military. i was in two way radio communications for 35 years and i know police would not go this far because they dont have the authority to go as far as shutting down a whole city power, phones,cell networks etc. however with the military you never know look at all the test flights they done out of Groom Lake AKA area 51 that they passed of as ufos. again im not saying that there isnt extraterrestial life i just dont think they " visit us " as often as we hear about if they have at all. thats for evryone else to decide or believe. there are a lot of interesting ideas in this thread though

Police State 2000 is a video of a Military action that was actually a training exercise to get our people used to policing the American citizen . In this film there are UN troops being trained to put Americans in FEMA Camps . It says so in the real time video of this exercise carried out in a residential area . This has occurred in other areas many times . This may have been a real operation on a militia group . Well to what i know about it is that . a haunting occurs a lot . and you have not experienced anything like it in five years and i don't think it would be so bombastic.

Now how many other people saw the lights? do you think the lights and the sounds where connected? flashes for weapons being shot?

The police should say anything to calm down the people or it could be covered up. Its strange the blackout was unknown. Do blackouts occur a lot due to unknown reasons?

Helicopters are manly used to search for things fast and cover and area fast. So there is something related to the military. So it was something that would interest them.

As for the transformer theory is suggest you look for a video on youtube of FortWorthExplosions.
It shows transformers that had been hit by lighting, but it does not have the same sounds as you described.

It seems that these strange things are happening a lot and mostly this year.

I suggest it has to do with aliens . what ever it is it is very strange indeed hope this helps the thread.

Here is a hypothetical theory, Ufo detected, military try blow it up . Ufo turns off power and phone signal due to its electromagnetic technology. Sounds like the case of Battle of Los Angeles. Maybe they shot it down and then they are now looking to recover it. just an idea. it crashed around the time the sounds stopped then few hours later recovery helicopters sent. maybe some more clues can helps us in future.
