The booklet is real and the text is as stated in the article.

But since the article broke, the author of the bio has come out and said that this was a fact checking error on her part and it has since been corrected.

In short...this really shouldn't be a "story" at all.

ok last one...I said she owed us an explanation. That you disagree with this is confusing to me. I honestly don't know how to respond to that.

Also, I don't know why you're implying I'm against freedom (nice way to get off track though, just bring up freedom which has nothing to do with anything here). I didn't say she should be legally obligated to explain herself in a court of law under criminal charges did I?, I just said it's owed to us. I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn't agree that a simple explanation is owed to the American people.

It's not owed to us...if an explanation is owed at all it is to her boss at the time she made the mistake.

It is frightening to me that you think this lady owed the entire nation an explanation for a mistake she made writing a bio over 20 years ago. I hope you never make a mistake...we may just ask you to explain to eveyone in the nation why you did.

This lady owes no one anything...you think she is lying anyway...so why would you believe her explaination???

You know if Obama was born In Kenya and then taken to Hawaii to try and illegally gain US citizenship:

1. There would be efforts to try and hide his birth certificate (long form) from public records release..
2. His school records would be sealed by lawyers...
3. His social security number would probably show up as being stolen or used by many other people..
4. His relatives would slip up and state he was born in Kenya at least once...
5. People in Kenya would probably claim he was known to have been born there...

Because people want this to be true, they try to ignore the fact that Barack's father here was mentioned as a finance minister of Kenya which everyone knows is not true. Sorry folks, but this is not the smoking gun that you are looking for.

Except that was released.... the State of Hawaii no longer releases them, but an exceptioon was made for Obama

Obama's school records have not been sealed by lawyers - hang on, I tried to access yours and could not so you must have had them sealed by lawyers - now why did you do that?

That's the thing: even if this pamphlet (by itself) is not conclusive, irrefutable proof that Obama was born in Kenya, it DOES PROVE that Obama is a LIAR, the people around him are LIARS, and Obama was not properly vetted.

And I still believe Obama paid for his college by tapping into funds reserved for foreign students -- which is why his college records were sealed.

His grades may not have been that great either. I know Harvard has had special programs for minorities that waive the usual academic requirements. Other Ivy League schools (like Columbia) may have had such programs too.

I trust NOTHING about Obama. It makes me sick that hordes of people will still vote for him because he's Black or because they think he's their best bet for amnesty. They have no concern for what is best for the US.

I never said that or anything that would imply that. So now you're putting words in my mouth. Good for you.

Like I said I'm all set with corresponding with you though for reasons I've already stated. It's very draining trying to reason with someone like you who at all costs seems to reject logic, reason, etc. and also common sense relating to the importance of being very clear about a president's past, place of birth, etc. because of the power of his position.
