You can Google about it, and Bingo! You will see that informations shows that Astronauts used these nicknames for the UFO sightings in space...

I have googled it. One of your sources claims that Wally Schirra reported "bogies" on Mercury 8. I have just read the entire transcript of that mission's transmissions. He did not report bogies or Santa Claus. He did confirm that "Sir John" Glenns fireflies were ice crystals that he could knock off the capsule.'Your sources are simply wrong... unless you can prove otherwise.

Yes, "bogie" is a term used in the Air Force. It has been so since before the space program began. Lovell's "bogie" was the second stage of their rocket.

Please provide other examples of the word "baby" being used as code for UFO. I suppose this conversation is about landing a UFO, not the LM?

In Russia the space craft were built like junk, that was the problem nothing was tested for its intended use. We built suits thinking ok this will probably work the same with our rockets. If we took the time to test them and not just assume this might work things would have been much different. Russia refused to take safety into concern, also we had no idea how space worked, NASA was just better on all fronts.

The Apollo 8 astronauts got where they were that Christmas Eve because of a bold, improvisational call by NASA. With the clock ticking on President Kennedy's challenge to land on the moon by decade's end, delays with the lunar module were threatening to slow the Apollo program. So NASA decided to change mission plans and send the Apollo 8 crew all the way to the moon without a lunar module on the first manned flight of the massive Saturn V rocket.

The crew rocketed into orbit on December 21, and after circling the moon 10 times on Christmas Eve, it was time to come home. On Christmas morning, mission control waited anxiously for word that Apollo 8's engine burn to leave lunar orbit had worked. They soon got confirmation when Lovell radioed, "Roger, please be informed there is a Santa Claus."

The crew splashed down in the Pacific on December 27. A lunar landing was still months away, but for the first time ever, men from Earth had visited the moon and returned home safely.

Lovell said they have the booster in sight all right, but he also said that they have several...actual sighting, so that means that Lovell use "Bogey" to describe these other >several...actual sighting< that they couldn't identify.

Interesting that the particles and the "bogey" were seen at the same time at which the booster was reacquired and not at any other part of the flight. The "bogey", if it was not the booster itself, was debris associated with it as was were the particles.

That's bullsh!t, Russia did have safety, otherwise a cosmonaut like Alexei Leonov would not be able to walk in space. And no, NASA was NOT better, you're wrong, let me point out to you what happened... No, I'm pointing out that your entire story is based upon ignorance of history. The Soviet achievement was real, but it came at a great price. They took many more chances than the Americans did because the Soviet Experiment was more important than any human life. You're the one who thinks the whole thing was fake. Or perhaps was real, but with aliens and flying saucers covered up. Or something.
