Agreed its the same senario that happened in the Southern States at the time of Black Civil rights. As soon as the Blacks got the old Black and white TV. sets that were being chucked out by the Whites, they realised that they should have a chance to live the middle class lifestyle as seen on TV.This is an example of the media effect changing things in a radical way. To be " informed" is a problem for the status quo.
