Ancient Aliens & The Riddle of the Missouri Mystery Mound

So is it located in Saline County like that one dude pointed out? If so it's not too far from STL and would definetely be worth a visit.

The one thing that bothers me about this is the "mysterious" door he did not open because he feared it would kill him. Too many times in these sensationalized stories there is something mysterious that they found but wouldn't open it because of bla bla bla BS.

I don't know, his whole story seems too good to be true.

Unless you are pure of heart these places can be dangerous. I don't completely understand how they work but they are guarded by some sort of energy or spirit. The ones they met that invited them into the cave were not real, that is why they did not go. Something put the image and voice of these men in their mind. They all had the same image and they sensed something was not right. They have never returned is a sign that they understood something was guarding the place. People see angels, beings that they interact with but they only exist in their minds. They steer them in directions to and from danger. There seem to be different sort of these beings also, some are good and helpers while others are mischievous or evil. They could be evil to one person and good to another, telling them apart is hard. Some of us are meant to see the truth while others are led astray. I think we are born with a destiny in life, straying from our destiny can cause bad things to occur.

Do I believe in this? I believe there are things excluded from the research of science. I believe they can't prove things and avoid them. I believe if they try to find the answer their research leads them down the wrong path. Only the pure at heart can find the answer. Am I pure at heart? HaHa I don't think so. Many would call me the opposite because it interferes with their way of life. It doesn't mean I'm wrong or right, I just see things a little differently. People will learn shortly that their disrespect for the world we live upon is going to lead them to destruction. God, the god of everything, the energy and communication of the universe, created this world as a place to experience things. We are causing it's destruction. Do you think are souls are going to be allowed to leave this world and interact with the universe when we destroy it for things we don't need? Fat chance. I understand this place is a school and we have free will to learn if we want. What we learn is our choice and our choice governs where we go later. So I have the key that unlocks our future in my words.

Remember that I am just a mouse and my words are not set in stone. Mice tend to tell tails because they have a tail. My tails are just a reflection of ancient writings though. The earth is our mother, we are made of her. Why do we destroy her ability to help us live a stressless life. Our own misguided desires and wants lead us astray. We don't really need all the things we want.

I gotta sat that i doubt this story.... it just seems like some fantasy that the 'hall of records' is there.... if it was dont you think Archaeologists would be all over it??? Let alone the American Government!!!

There seems to be quite a few members in the Missouri area that are interested in investigating this mystery further, so I'm going to try to put together an adventure to try to locate this mound. I think with a little research from everyone, we can either verify some of the claims by Mr. Teague, or debunk them.

I've been searching on Google Earth to try to get as close to the location as possible, and to see if there are any features that seem to stand out like Mr. Teague stated, but I haven't found anything obvious yet.

I know that the Mississippi is covered with mounds, so there is at least the possibility that this mystery mound does exist, whether or not the Hall of Records exist within is another story. Anyone interested in joining the search party, feel free to join the hunt. I think if we spend a few weeks researching and preparing, we may get lucky, and be able to not only find the mound, but find additional information that could unravel this mystery.

I think once we get a general location established, set a date to investigate, and gather equipment and supplies, we should have enough ATS members interested in helping out that we have a decent chance at some success. Anyone interested, post on this thread, or feel free to message me, and we'll begin working on the details to solve this mystery. If there's anyone out there that can piece it all together....it's ATS and it's members.

After reading this thread I was actually gonna post a thread about the Australian site.

In Aboriginal mythology, the Wondjina (or Wandjina) were cloud and rain spirits who, during the Dream time, created or influenced the landscape and its inhabitants.[1] When they found the place they would die, they painted their images on cave walls and entered a nearby waterhole.

Here are more examples of Wandjina. These a images from Kimberley, Australia. Possibly 5,000 years old. Some people believe they may represent Alien beings. Notice the "alien like" shapes to some of the heads

I'm not sure of the exact location though and you would probably want to get permission from the Aboriginal locals of the area before going there as many of these sites are sacred.

As most of you know for over 50 years I have been shown and told things by Beings on my experiences. I want to go as far as saying maybe a connection should be made between the Mounds and the Arc of St. Louis.

I was shown the Arc by these Beings like 15 years before it was built, hmmmmmm

I feel the mystery deepens

I'm pretty convinced that if we talked with Native Shaman's about their history, we would find lots of correllation between the different tribes (that supposedly didn't communicate) of Alien visitations, very ancient people, and ancient structures in North America.

For me, the greatest conspiracy of our time would be that the archaeological community is covering up realities of the true human timeline. This conspiracy is real, widespread, and hardly ever gets discussed.

You know, I didn't think much about it until your post....there is an Arch in St. Louis, and this story is telling us that the Ark of the Covenant is in Missouri. It is a little bit of a coincidence...may mean nothing, but it could mean something. This might be something to do a little research on...Interesting...

Since when did people on ATS start taking everything for its word without any skepticism?

Have you even looked at the OP's link with the photo of the "pointing Grey Alien" and "Mayan skull"? lol imagination gets you pretty far I suppose.

Wow, talk about creating your own meaning from a post. There is no ARC in St. Louis, he was refering to the ARCH, ya know, that 630 foot silver horseshoe downtown by the river. Lol!

I think thats why so many of us that are from a local area are interested in going and checking it out. Reading something online to learn is nothing compared to actually getting off our backsides and going and checking it out. If its a load of bunk oh well we spent a day out in the woods getting some hiking and other physical activities in, and if it turns out to be something more well you can only imagine what that could do for us. just a thought...

Ah, they've been doing that all along.

I still can't get over that slab of rock being a lizard. I hope no one makes a connection between roundish boulders and UFO/orbs.

ETA: Oh noes! I have planted that seed!

This story reminds me of a Kevin Costner movie i saw awhile back. I can't remember the name of the movie it must have been a straight to dvd release. But it had these old indian mounds and they were home to an ancient ant/man like race. There seems to be alot of parallels between the story and the movie.

Exactly!...I couldn't have said it better myself. Instead of just saying that this story is BS, or believing in the story without trying to verify the information, it just makes sense to me to research it for ourselves...and like you said...If nothing comes of looking for the mound, it could be a great adventure, and there are definitely many mounds in the Mississippi valley, as well as other sites that are not known. I personally know of an area that is covered in Native American burial sites and more, but only a handful of people know it exist. Anything is possible, and I see no harm in spending a little time looking for something like this...if we don't find anything, we'll have a great time in the search. How often does a chance come along to try to solve a great mystery? I'll be looking into this regardless of any skeptisism I, or anyone else has. I'll be the first to agree that some of the pictures, and what they are being stated to be representing are a stretch, but there does seem to be evidence of SOMETHING being there....It's worth investigating.

Didn't think missing the H on Arc would cause a stir but I think if you look it can be either way ARC-ARCH of St. Louis stop being so petty.....why is it when people make a spelling error around here a member has to correct them and make them feel stupid could always just U2U them you know........really makes the corrector look small if you know what I mean.

As I see it sometimes you need to look outside the box.

Ancient Aliens is actually a very good show Giorgio is right on in his thinking and interpretations.

I suggest you open your field of vision over the lands in that area and see if any connections can be made even if it stretches to other interesting points of interest on this Planet.

An arch is an arc...There could be a subtle connection there, or not. It's similar to looking at
monuments in Washington D.C. and finding that there is hidden meaning in their construction and purpose. I've learned to never discard something just because the connection isn't obvious. I look for the hidden meaning in things. Just because I think something is worthy of research, doesn't mean I believe in it...only that it's interesting enough to discover more.
