Nice thread Ben S&F. I sure hope RP makes it into office. I firmly believe this country is screwed if he doesen't make it. The guy is ignored by the MSM. They try to silence him and pretend he isn't there at all. But the guy just wont quit. We need to keep up this momentum so he will just steam roll anyone in his way to the oval office. I don't want to see him win. I want to see him slaughter the compitition!! Put the fear into these fools.

RON PAUL 2012!!

I really appreciate your comment and you are dead-on. Ron Paul's response to a boy with autism who asked what he would do for special needs kids was "liberty is our most precious resource." He said that to reframe the child's comment that "children are our most precious resource." For parents of special needs and medically fragile kids, Ron Paul's answer is nothing short of a nightmare. How exactly, are we to pursue the magic of "liberty" and "prosperity" when we are dealing with issues like an incontinent teenager who is non-verbal and self-injurious? When you can't safely have them in the car with another child without a trained adult in between them due to their 'behaviors'? How do you get groceries? How do you PAY for groceries when the school is no longer obligated to take your child by law, and you now have them at home with you full-time until you die? Family caregivers have a much higher risk for serious, stress related illnesses - how do we pay for our own declining health and care for ourselves while managing 100% of our child's needs? What are the the real-life consequences of unrestrained program-gutting? Efficiency in government is a good thing, abandonment of the people for the sake of 'liberty' is not a good thing. And special needs kids can come into any family - especially with autism now at 1 in 88 kids. RP envisions a "transition" period where some of these programs would stay in place, and then what? Not trying to start an argument with folks here, as I respect everyone's right to their own political opinions. Just asking some questions that keep me up at night...

which video of these 3 is most concerning?

Eisenhower warns of the military industrial complex

America run as a corporation

Obama signs NDAA

I would say the last one. Obama is a very very dangerous man.

Even if he wins, ( I'll be voting for him ) he will have so many road blocks in his way, I am not sure how he will accomplish his goals. But, its a start.

This SO reminds me of arguing with RP supporters I decided to post it. RE if you dont support RP you are not a patriot (if you are not with RP you are against us)

Well if Ron Paul is not our next president, you can find me on my roof with my trusty Scoped M1-C and a few thousand rounds. As this, I fear, is the only way to get back our CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC.

And as a side note...thanks to eveyone in this thread declaring people who don't think just like you do as non-patriots, damaged goods, and unreasonable.

That's just the way to bring this country together

Hey Hater (you're gonna hate).

How about a counter point to prove everything wrong in that video. A patriot is someone who cares about liberty. Are you not a patriot? Do you not see your constitution being destroyed by puppets?

Yeah. I starred and flagged THE # out of this. Nice. You know..as a black man, supporting Ron Paul earns me a fair amount of hatred from other black folks..I mean, a lot of us get a kick out of a black man having this much power. For awhile, so did I. But when you look at NDAA, extension of the patriot act, so many things, including that recently leaked document giving details about the upcoming "civilian detainee" deal(which means, FEMA camps, all that stuff is true). You realize that we are on the precipice. I mean, it's one thing to read it on ATS..but when you see that it's really going down..it's not a theory, that it's real,,then you HAVE to support Ron Paul. If you care about what america is..if you care about what we're supposed to be..hell even if you don't want to get into lofty ideals. do it for pure self-preservation, because, they're coming.

They're coming.

It's decision time.

You are damaged and unreasonable....and have proven it often on these boards with your absolute denial of RP's possibilities.. If you do not respect the Constitution and do not see the value in restoring it and preserving it...that's fine...but stop your endless tirades as if you were speaking from higher ground...you do not...you speak from desecrated ground...a ground consecrated with the blood of patriots...now walked on by traitors and defilers....those that do not remember history are doomed to repeat it....

to continue your position is to solidify your opinion against the Constitution and the Rights guaranteed within....

shall we continue?

The Patriot Act, The National Defense Act, the NSA, CIA, spying on American citizens, detention of American citizens, no cause, based on suspicion, TSA, FAA....my God people, we are becoming a COMMUNIST country. For a democrat, Obama sure has suprised a lot of people who thought he was on the road to improving things in this country. He's been significantly more of a tyrannt than Bush ever was! Vote for the Establishment and its a vote for Repression and Suppression!!!

Wake up!!

Oh come on! You don't destroy the establishment with an ad. It's still just part of the show... Of course, it helps waking up a lot of people, but the establishment is still there and doing well.

I am a Ron Paul supporter, but your concerns are valid. Embrassing Ron Paul is to embrass a new or actually "old" way of "handling" and helping the communties people with special needs, especially children. It's my belief that this "surge" of autism in children is a direct result of TPTB, and thier total disreguard for the health and safety of most people, and even a "sinister" agenda to hurt our kids and us all, and that has to be our first priorty to get rid of them.

Ron Paul has said we would "transition" and I have faith that if we manage to get him elected he would do more for "special" needs kids in terms of encouraging new ways to help each other without the FED, and with his background in medicine will help put a stop to poisening us and making people sick with these insane agenda's by TPTB.

He's smart to not make this a focus of his campaign at this point because this is not an easy thing for people to grasp, but you know he KNOWS what's going on....NO more flouride, GM foods, and a completely corrupt health system is what we need and when the time comes, he will take them on, and we will all be better off...that's my Hope.....wishing your family happier days ahead, must be tough to have special need child....

I like the ad a lot. ya know what scares me, and this is pretty far fetched, but I think it is still within the ability of our government. They (TPTB) let Ron Paul get elected, then assassinate him within his first year to show the people that even with a decent vote we still can't have a good leader. Worst case scenario, I know it's a long shot, but I try not to leave any plausible scenario out for what could happen to this country. IMHO I think it does not matter who we vote for, the system is so rigged, and there is so much crooked money out there that it's going to be Romney weather we like it or not. Though I would prefer Paul.

Did you even watch some of the videos of Obamas promises? Do you remember any of his BS to actually come true? Do you live in this country? not trying to pick a fight but I can't see how anyone who lives here cannot say Ron Paul is defending our population and its freedom period. Yes - he does have radical ideas - like trimming down the government, it was never, I repeat - never, to be this big and controlling. All our basic freedoms are fading away in the name of security - show me where the big "O" is protecting our freedom within our borders - it's a joke all in the name of security - the Patriot Act is really the Freedom Destroyer Act - search your home on a suspicion / drones over our heads / the joke of TSA / the CIA / FBI / Secret Service - oh baby. Since our new pres has had his way with us I really do not hear to many happy people - do you. Except his Zars maybe.

Yes - Ron Paul does have some radical ideas like re-addressing the Federal Reserve Act (hasn't got anything to do with the US gov. under the table maybe). Protecting our Constitutional Rights. Like bringing our troops home. How about finding out who is holding hands with industrial complex? Re-addressing the IRS, the most powerful three letter agency in the country. Oh - I do believe the US government is the biggest employer in the country - now why is that. How about finding out what congressmen are slipping their friends, relatives and lobbyist the best the US has to give at our expense. I could go on and on - so I do not understand your stance on Ron Pauls campaign strategy. Last time I check it is still a free country and the voting machines are crooked and manipulated the best of Diebolds ability. So ya - there are pretty mad people out there. We just want a fare chance at protecting this country from our corrupt and out of control government - period. I love our country, but we are all getting screwed daily by you know who for crap they are making up daily.

Our government doesn't even care what they say to us anymore nor do they care if they get caught doing something wrong. As a matter of fact I think they go out of their way to make sure we find out - so they can thumb their noses at all of us. Like this example (I guess we find out what is in the bill when it passes and we read it). It is a joke to most of them. Do you really think for one minute they give a crap if gas $5.00 per gallon LOL. The gas prices at the pump will not make a change in their life style at all. When they go to bed at night they are not thinking of you or me - this is why I like Ron Paul - he cares and he has not wavered from his stance in years on the major issues. I hope he pulverizes the competition.

P. S. Nancy Pelosi is crazier than a crap house rat and is in need of serious psychiatric care along with Harry Reed in the waiting room. Other than that - I think they are both OK. by the way I dislike both parties, they are all guilty of screwing us all.

LOL, one last thing before I need to get to work. Was just talking to my 21 year old daughter, and told her about the post I just made here, and she said the funniest thing to me I just had to share, even though I don't exactlly know her reference, will have to look it up later....anyways she said.....

"Honey Badger don't take no SH#T ! cracked me up,....maybe one of the younger members here can tell me what she meant?! Is it just obvious, or is there something going over my head? lol, wouldn't be the first time...

While I don't agree with some of Ron Paul's views, national security for one, I believe I have about 90%+ common ground with Dr. Paul. I NEVER had a 90% commonality in views with anyone, least of all politicians. I don't even like to use the term "politician" in the same breath as Dr. Paul. Sounds to insulting for me.

I admire the mans unflinching integrity, and decency. That I may have a minor issue with this or that point? I think its far more important to have the character, then we can argue details later... Compare Ron Paul to Romney, as said on Bill Mares program no doubt you heard Newt Gingrich loves to do campaigning and photo ops at zoo's?Last time he was bit by a f****** Penguin! Just how does one manage THAT? They are passive, very curious and hardly a threat to anyone, but the fish they swallow whole.

But the line I loved was when Bill Mare (sorry if name misspelled Bill) he said he went to the zoo and stood next to a chameleon, and Romney changed color...

Good Luck Dr. Paul, and please dump the Republican party. Your far to good for that reactionary nuthouse. Maybe join my support group, of recovering Republicans? We announce in our meetings "Hi, my name is (name here) and I used to be a political idiot" New members are of course always welcome.

What I want to know is.....how come every Ron Paul thread is full of supporters from the UK and Canada??

Dont you guys see they are trolling you? Most of them could give a crap about Ron Paul or American politics, they just know it is a hot button issue and like to push buttons.

Just because RP has a bajzillion online followers, the reason you dont see him crushin the vote totals is that alot of his supporters are trolls from other countries. I cant believe I have to explain this....or maybe I can.

For example, the OP admitted to being Canadian in this thread. Go Ron Paul, eh??

Its Ironic that he ( Ron Paul ) says he is a Conservative and a Republican !

but for the things he says it Sounds so Much like a Libertarian Liberal as
he should of been his Own Party it does not look good for Paul..

Why he's Pro People Anti Government ( as I See it )
( as Hows things were then & of whats Happening now During the Bush Administration & After )

well what would Happen if he did become President
( as we all Know the TPTB wouldn't Allow [ask Jesse Ventura] )

He Would eventually Pull those 3 Romney Greenwich and Scumbag Racist (Torquemada) Santorum into some form of Power Control Payroll Secretary of Defense , National Security , foreign affairs , Vice President ?

Would I Vote for him NO For the Reasons Above

that Im a Liberal

From the Last Republican in the White House

I tend to think this would Happen form Sure ...

From People like this
