Has Santa ever delivered presents on Christmas morning? Of course not! Someone else did it. And they didn't do it to make Santa happy, they invented Santa to make you happy. Same with god. If a prayer like, "God please let my surgery go well" is 'answered' by the surgery going well, it wasn't because of a god or magic, it was because the surgeon knew what the hell he was doing.

I was once a very devout christian and I can certainly say not one of my prayers have ever been answered, there is no divine intervention, only what you choose to see.

You still didn't answer my request.
Give one clear example of Jesus answering your prayers.

One day I was praying... and Jesus came up to me and said... "It's your turn to wash up!"

I was gutted... I was praying for an invisibility cloak...

God was NOT amused

:p

Seems not...

These "stigmatic" wounds don't go away...

Their "mark" stays...

Got some awesome pics...

Should I start a new thread...

After prayers, obviously

Abwoon d'bashmaya... (All together)

What is the difference?
God is no more real or legitimate then Santa, in fact the idea of Santa is a lot more plausible even tho it is still completely improbable.

Cmon.......did God really just say: "Let there be light" and that was it?

Does this not sound absolutely ridiculous?

It's okay, let the delusional morons bask in the glory of their fairy tales. Whatever helps them sleep at night

Think I failed...

In my delirium... and one handed (L rather than R) I proceeded to call a lot of folk who ALL deducted that I was drunk... despite telling EVERY one of them i had broken my shoulder...

Tested?

THEY... were tested :p

And let me add that there was light before there was the Sun. Same as how Cain had a wife when there were only 3 people in existence (according to the Bible). Its obvious the person who wrote Genesis indeed made it up as they went.

Not plausible, it is still so stupid that its virtually impossible but it is still more plausible then God.

You are welcome to prove me wrong by stating how God is plausible..

You seem to be mocking yourself. I take it you have no clear proof of Jesus answering your prayers. Why cant you just be honest about my request?

What else was there to do 1500 years ago besides get really high and write a bunch of crazy stories?

I bet they'd be really freaking amused at how people have made a religion out of it
