They're the military's counterpart to the top-billed Hollywood celebrities in today's movies.

If there is a revolution or civil war how do you think Street Gangs will react there are over 20,000 gangs and thier are 1 million members in U.S in ALL 50 states.
I know alot about gangs i grew up around them, and i have a feeling this war is going to be very ugly, these scenarios can happen,


1.Civil Unrest Begins and Gangs take thier chance and wreak havoc in the streets ( You should not be in any city during this time)

2.Gangs may take this chance and wreak havoc on DHS soldiers and police (Its going to happen,i hope it does)

3.Or Gangs might set thier differences aside and help in the battle, (It could happen but its a low chance)



I know your thinking what does this have to do with the thread but im saying when things breakloose this are the possiblities.They already hate the law,government wouldnt be a surpise if they tagged along the fight. Lets just hope gangs from south america DONT come, now thats something to worry about. (Zetas and other cartels)

Well how have the last 5 ones you met treated you?
Nobody's organization almost says no to orders, and if they are ordered into Iraq they'll go. I hear stories of them shooting people, and also of refusing to. I'd imagine the stories of them shooting others are more broadcast as you don't leak information about how many soldiers refused to do so.

But by the nature of getting shot at if you go in for cheap pay and benefit programs they don't fund after your out of the military, it's going to attract better people rather than worse. I was on a base doing work for three years and I always liked the soldiers even if they seemed like they would be willing to shoot someone, they were soldiers after all and hardly any or none of them do I remember seeming like ass holes.

So if the burden of proof you offer is that you swear at me,
why don't you give me some other form of evidence for your position?

What can I say? I'm a pacifist who's been pushed around throughout life by militaristic types (some military, some paramilitary, some who Think they're military or want you to think they are). I say I don't deserve that kind of shabby treatment but I still get it. I can plead innocence for the life of me and tell them to go away but they won't. Do you know what police brutality is? All I see is a slavish devotion to the chain of command, up to the point where they can pull sh!t they can get away with.

as the days go by, I see this becoming more and more of a potential reality.

one look at the protests and the people they are protesting. it's easy to see that it's pretty much inevitable.

it's coming, not doom porn or end of the world, but some big change is coming to North America,
it really can't be stopped.

This is why I come here.

Unfortunately, there probably will never be a revolution in North America or Europe any time soon. The police and military are simply too powerful. Blame our ancestors for letting the government build up so much firepower over decades and decades. I suppose it wouldn't be fair to blame them though. They probably had no idea that it would end up being used against their progeny later on.

By pushed around how does it mean they are probably willing to go kill Americans? What did they do to You? And was it just a few soldiers or every one you met? Of course, if you insulted what they felt was their calling in life, probably most all of them would not like you, which may be the explanation unless they did something really bad to you aside from say something not nice. I agree that some military people are murderers, no questions, Julian Asange showed that, what I don't think is that there are enough of that type of military personnel to carry out a dictatorship. I think the military gets played so that they end up raping a country, but I don't think we have a miltiary that would willingly say 'oh, we're going to rape them? sure' I think they do that because maybe 10% get put into a war and told to murder people and maybe 1 or 2% actually would. SO most of them wouldn't murder people, and when we wake up enough to where those other people realize our government is stanic no questions asked they will overthrow it is my belief. That's why I DON"T like people telling soldiers to leave their jobs because then they will hire the sadistic memebers of society to take their place. THEN WE"RE IN SOME SH*T. But as long as most of the soldiers are there for patriotic reasons in the first place, even if they get sent out to a farce like Afganistan's war, they can't have their dictatorship, if the truther community is noisy enough about it that is.

I don't insult people. People insult me. I tend to keep my mouth shut, but that only adds to certain persons' irritation and they tend to interpret me as being something they can get away with harassing or picking on. It snowballs after that. It's the story of my life and has no place here. But it just so happens that Some of these people Are/were/try to be military (or perhaps I should just say police). That's the story I'm sticking with and that's all you or anyone else needs to know. Now to get back on topic, I don't buy into this massive civil war nonsense. Mainly because Americans are domesticated sheeple, with their brains electronically simplified by trash fed through their precious cell phones (which they can't eat or go to the toilet without). I'd sooner see a revolution breakout in Russia than in America. At least the Red guys have been through a lot over the past century and the latest con game of trashing Communism for Capitalism is wearing thin, considering how they fell for the so-called real American lifestyle as portrayed in BS movies like "It's a Wonderful Life." The foolish masses actually believed that they'd all receive free cars and homes by embracing the American Way. Today they're being taxed to death, much like Americans, whereas before they at least got some great things for free from their government.

I'm not taking the side of DHS but realistically there is no way street gangs can compete with well trained and well equipped paramilitary forces, especially when there is no real incentive to do so, financial or otherwise.

As far as the OP, you have take everything from these doomer investor sites with a major grain of salt. How long have the gold bugs been selling the collapse that's always just about to happen?

Well, not many people may be able to mount a civil war, but I hear the American Revolution only had the real support of about 10% of the population. I don't know how accurate that is but I think it's possibly true. I think there is more than 10% of the population that owns guns and would use them to prevent an out of control government if they knew of it like we do here on ATS. And, 10% of America getting their guns along with 60 or 70 % of the military saying 'we're not supporting this, by the way since you want to kill the world we'll kill you' would be plenty to get the ball rolling in the direction of freedom. about simple ways we can all tell a few people every day about what's going on, in a way that several of them will believe it. If everyone on ATS did that then after a year I'm sure we'd have a pretty awake country. Or at least a substantially more awake country. ATS I think has some number of hundreads of thousands of members and if they all told 10 people every day on message boards 'hey, go to this site and see what's wrong with the NDAA / Health care law / Martial Law executive orders and by the way once your done reading that there's links to the REAL conspiracies at the bottom' then after 365 days X 10 people X 200,000 = 730,000,000 people being told,
which would make sure several saw it multiple times and so more would look, and if you got maybe 50 million awakened people from that kind of thing it just puts us VERY much closer to saying, as a nation of 300 million, we're not having it because you want to kill us. Then we'd have our freedom back with a short break for lynch mobs in between. That's my idea of an ATS that does effective work.

Once everyone runs out of ammo, half the population is dead or starved to death, the cold sociopaths will come out of their bunkers and resume their deskbound duties like nothing happened. Of course those leading news reporters will put on their ultra-serious "we care so much about the average man" faces to continue fooling the masses.
They can toggle that Image on just as easily as they can switch from "giggle mode" over the most banal one-liners. That's why I have such a hard time watching the daily news these days. It's That phony. And the blame can be placed on either Arabs, Koreans, or some outer threat force outside the U.S.

I think that's pretty much a realistic take on a "massive civil war" today.
It has the advantage of lowering the population and creating "heroes" for TV vidiots to worship.

This will be one movie they'll never film, because it's almost spot-on close to the truth.

Why should they care? The more destruction, all the merrier! It's not "their" doing, of course, it's the Evil Doers out there. All the more reason to use as justification for retaliation.

Well...SOMEBODY is going to be living in those hundreds and hundreds of concentration camps. To date, there has not been any such thing as an unused prison in all of human history.

They were built. They will be filled.

Care to show me any of these camps?

Because I checked the location given for Minnesota's and it wasn't there.

If someone can give me proof of these camps, great. But until then I'm not buying that they exist.

I'm sorry but I've got to respectfully disagree with some of this.
I'd put my money on number one and two. But # 3 Don't see it happening, gangs only care about one thing and thats themselves and nothing else. . . I'll take it one step further, I'd be willing to bet the government would recruit some of the gangs. Remember obamas slip up about wanting a "civilian" security force?

No, the US is one of the most paranoid countries in the world, if not THE most. They have stayed on top precisely for this reason, and they are just playing it safe and not taking any chances.

So yeah I don't see any of these things as any evidence that there will be a civil uprising at all, American people are too passive and complacent for that. It just shows the American government is supremely paranoid and careful.
