You take the path of most anti-OWS people. You find evidence of a few bad apples who acted out badly and then pigeon hole the entire movement into this light. I could post a bunch of videos showing good things they have done, but you can easily look those up. I've been to OWS events and the vast majority of people involved genuinely care about helping people in a peaceful and productive manner, not being violent. To say that because I have gotten involved with it is a complete slap in the face of myself and all the other peaceful people I met. If you don't want to acknowledge any of the good that has come from this that is your own issue. You would be much better off trying to fix it. Have you ever attended an occupy event? If not, how can you legitimately form an opinion on it?

This crucifying of the job creators because the use "legal" tactics to better themselves needs to stop. It is another distraction from the real problem....the law lets them do this. Lobbying needs to be outlawed and term limits imposed on politicians. I don't mean term limits by the vague description of voting, I mean LIMITS...no career politicians...that is one of the only answers, don't let them get settled in.

NO MORE LOBBYING!!!!

Standing around in a park, getting in the way and annoying everyone for months on end will do nothing.

The Tea Party doesn't do that and they have enacted change, by voting, pressuring politicians by taking ACTION.

Just for one minute Occupy should take some advice, I don't agree with most of their messages and I think they are picking the wrong boogyman but at least if they were doing something they might get more respect...and get rid of the violent idiots.

The first video you included, for example, doesn't show Obama supporting the movement. It shows him saying he understands where they are coming from because a lot of people,

Now ask yourself what Obama said about the tea parties. Oh what a coincidence, right in line with the media, many on ATS and Democrats.

On the part about career politicians I couldn't agree more it needs to stop and lobbying needs to go also.

So just because they can buy the law people need to keep their mouth shut about it. Did you forget it's we the people not not for the wealthy. Have you also forgotten that it's the job creators that get the tax breaks but unemployment is still high. So they can stand some crucifying.

After the Vietnam war our government did adopt some of the policies that the hippies were screaming for so you can say it does do some good to protest.

Yes they took action to push the elites agenda. Can you point out some of this change the tea party has brought about because all I have learned from the rallies just how bad they are at spelling.

and get rid of the violent idiots.

Your right the cops that your job creators bought that need to go.

The problem is that it’s more than ‘a few’ and this seems to happen every time OWS shows up ANYWHERE!

Nice try but that excuse doesn’t fly.

Not everyone in OWS is violent but there is a large percentage that is…and they show up every time. You can’t associate yourself with these trouble makers and then say “they don’t represent ME.” Have you ever heard of guilt by association?

If you don't want to acknowledge any of the good that has come from this that is your own issue. You would be much better off trying to fix it. Have you ever attended an occupy event? If not, how can you legitimately form an opinion on it?

What good has come if it? Please tell me because nobody can quantify the success of OWS. All we’ve seen is angry, sign-carrying mobs who have accomplished nothing significant other than property damage.

You still don't get what I said? They are not breaking the law (most of the bankers, wall st), so then you have to work to change the laws. By getting those people elected that will do it for you, they are our representatives or run for office and start working.

Thats what the tea party did...they are getting people in office who want to start getting the government out of our lives.

See, if you believe in more nanny state bs then you won't appreciate what the tea party and others have done. So that would be beating a dead horse for me.

Every single person I have heard interviewed at OWS just wants more goodies, more government, union takeover of companies and less property rights and freedom......fundamentally unamerican.....the same actions the people were getting arrested for in the 50's......communism, socialism, Marxism, Maoism, fascism.....has never and will never work in this world....even China came to their senses.

Study history and don't repeat it.....we just need to treat capitalism and it's current regulations to level the plating field.

It has been traced to the progressives...
But everyone is in denial....just think about it logically....what is the message of the progressives?

What is the general message of the OWS?

There is a connection.

Illegal is illegal...

If you are here illegally yes you
are a person, an illegal alien..

Closest anyone here is ever
going to get to seeing a REAL LIFE
ALIEN.. Depending where you live
just look around ILLEGAL ALIENS
are everywhere..

I would not put them in a dungeon and
torrture them.. I would make them go through
the LEGAL process so they CAN LIVE IN AMERICA
LEGALLY... All anyone wants is it to be fair..
It is not fair to the citizens who did come here
legally... The system is ass half backwards..

Lets secure the border.
