It wasn't you that deluded yourself and if you had believed in him before than there is nothing to be cured from if there is no sickness. You long to see him so you test him and of course he will not show, you see God doesn't come as you might think but in someway or some kind of blessing. Have you ever met someone that has in some way made you think that this guy is weird and seems to have answers or have you ever encountered and animal that has behaved out of the ordinary.
My father encountered a wolf once as he was setting up his traps and he felt someone was watching him and he turned around and a wolf was standing there face to face with him, he turned for his gun and turned to shoot him but was gone in a split second.
Was that God or just an animal and he who sets things aside often fails to see the miracles before them and will assume that they have no reason to believe.

I'll say this as a theory and it's very interesting to say the least and so here it goes.
Many often wonder who was it that came to this content first either be it Christopher Columbus or Asians from the land bridge in Alaska and Europeans on the east coast drifting from the ice sheets from the last ice age. but I feel it was Lucifer that came first to our people and many have told of the white mans coming and of course showed them prophecies. They did know how to take care of the earth but often would worship the sun god and sing songs of praise to it. They danced and around a fire and sang with their drums and conjured up spirits for knowledge and some spoke to those and this is where the wicked one used our people against God. He told them to prepare for the white man and they come to take away your knowledge and destroy your way and so it did come to pass. Talking to spirits is necromancy and is often used by my people long ago and still today but they fail to realize it is fallen angels pretended to be the spirits of there brothers who have gone before them. Of course he worked his way into the hearts of the Europeans and used the bible as weapon to conquer many nations and Satan can also come in many different shapes and things like Money, Governments and spirits of long lost loved ones. he promises power and if you look closely you see a world divided, The churches and in governments and people creating religions to suit there needs. I could go and on but i will stop and maybe someday I will write it down but for now i will end this post.

From what I have heard of people the spirit and soul have the same shape as the person on Earth did when they were alive. The spirit world is the 7 dimensions we cannot see that exist all around us. Our Earthly bodies are like out "spacesuits" to live and interact in the 4 dimensions we know as reality.

You were a christian for over 20 years? I didn't know that. You been baptized? If so - sprinkled or dunked? What denomination were you most closely aligned with back then? When you called on God were you going through something bad or just calling on him to say, 'Hey!',?

Would you please share your experiences with us? Is it okay to ask you what age range you fall in and if you have little fellows?Lol

I was dunked under in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit. The old man was gone and the new man lived. First, we were Pentecostal when I was a kid, then the church became Apostolic, then it became non-denominational. I'm 38 and have four kids.

When I called on God, I was just wanting to meet him. Look, when I was a christian, I didn't want to be fake. Christians always claim to have a personal relationship with god, but I don't believe it is a personal relationship. If you have a personal relationship with someone, you will never confuse their voice with your own thoughts. Never. You can hear that person clearly and concisely. You know what they look like, sound like, smell like, laugh like, cry like, etc. etc. That's a true personal relationship...and that's what I wanted with this god. I wanted a real personal relationship.

Sure, if this god is real, I would still like to meet him, speak with him, ask questions, etc. Here's another fun fact: I don't care about being blessed by this god, and I don't care about receiving rewards from him. It appears that many christians crave this kind of thing. I am not interested in that crap. I just want truth. If this god is real, I want to know it.

I find it strange that a lot of people who convert to Christianity, convert when they are mentally unstable. They have intense stress in their life, or they are doing drugs, it is at their worse point where they get vulnerable enough to accept Christianity.

I read stories about people TRICKING others to go to Church pretending that it was a movie theater and showing them videos of propaganda to convert them. How manipulative.

Then you have "evil" spirits saying "Go to Jesus", why would anyone trust an evil spirit?

Christianity is a religion that is mostly living through shame. Feel shameful that God may be watching you do bad things. Feel shameful that God had Jesus put to death just to forgive people.

Many verses in the bible Jesus is promoting slavery and even saying to not do anything about it!

Most people don't need outside prompting to feel ashamed of things they have done.
I think people would naturally wish that they could have a chance to do things differently.
A conversion experience would give people at least one version of this idea, to start over and to leave the past behind them and to seek to do better in this new life.
Beyond that more simpler approach, there is also perhaps a more hope giving vision of a real new life that awaits them beyond the grave, in a better place where they will not be so prone to falter.
Jesus may have died in order for forgiveness to seem more approachable, and on a personal basis, by a loving and caring individual who came here to represent God, as someone like us. He was like us and God forgave him for being crucified as a criminal, and showed his forgiveness by raising him from the dead.

I find strange that people feel the need to assume that People do bad things to believe in God, and as for slavery every government does it for fake money. I find it strange people take verses and twist them from the bible and create new religions. I'm a sinner no doubt and that's all I am but I never did anything so bad that would give me a criminal record. I find it strange people need UFO's to free them when we could do it ourselves, I find hard to believe that people need inter dementional beings for salvation. It will always go both ways in an endless dibate and I for one wanted to read NDE even if someone gets them from YouTube.

I've watched and read many NDEs. Many are not consistent with what christianity teaches, so if they are real, what does that mean? Do christians only believe the ones that are consistent with their teachings? That's an interesting question...

We fully don't know what happens, I believe people that experience NDEs have something to tell and I am not gonna disprove any of them. Im still learning and I am open to other things and what people have to say about them. Auto wrench had one too but he attacked my faith and so I bit back and I feel so bad for that because he believes in something I have no intent on changing but I will always help in anyway. I hate the term Christianity and labeling for that matter and if something in this world is without a name we then label it and brand it. No one faith has it right and with that being said I have yet to see anyone practice love in its true form and I don't think Jesus ever wanted us to separated from God because of these lines. This is a "chicken or the egg" question. We will find out when it's our time. I believe when we die we stay dead until the resurrection if we are found worthy of being resurrected and if not we stay in sheol..eternal death.
