The Revolution is going viral. Check out this new article on Huffington Post

www.huntingtonnews.net...

"Nevada holds its national convention delegate selection this week. 25 of 28 delegates will be up for grabs. “Whoever shows up controls the tempo of the meeting,” said Carl Bunce, Paul’s campaign chairman for Nevada."

Come on, Nevada! We're pulling for you. Last week it Louisiana, Massachusetts and Alaska. Next weekend, it's Nevada's turn. TAKEOVER that convention.

I think Maine is also next weekend.

Ok for the last two days I have watched you bash people ok first off present your fact and end it! How about we all grow up and take a step back and look at how people are acting seriously! If someone presents a fact/poll/delegate count try and discredit it instead of making personal attacks I'm not saying it wasnt just you...

..."has already won!"

I like the sounds of that, but not for what people might think.

Even if he does or does not get the nomination....even if he doesn't win the General election...he has won.

His ideals are touching people, he has stirred thought and reflection in people, he is getting people to engage and think. To question the direction of our country and the laws that govern it.

Considering the way things were just a few years ago, this is a very good thing.

Dr. Paul has stirred something deep inside people and it is awakening more and more. He is making some part of us remember that we are a Constitutional Republic and there should be nothing more in control of our lives than that.

Even if this election doesn't go as well as we would all like...the dialogue and the ideology has been awakened and is growing...and that makes me a happy Libertarian.

The reason the establishment is mad is because they are being beat at their own game that they designed decades ago. The delegate system was probably put together with good intentions, but the crooks quickly realized how to manipulate and control who gets power through that system. It is a lot easier to manipulate 20,000 than 300 million.

Ron Paul has been around long enough to know the system and he is beating them at it. I think this is good thing. The important thing is to notice that no matter what, the platform and direction of the party will change because of the people that are being voted into the delegate and chairman position throughout the party in different states. Ron Paul and his people know this and I think he is perfectly fine with this happening without him getting the nomination. He has worked for 30 years to pull the reigns of the government back and why not go out with a big bang so to speak. I support him 100% in his endeavor and hopefully we will see a big turn in the Senate and House too. Maybe, just maybe, we can get some people with common sense in Washington that will right the ship.

No way Obama could beat Paul in a one on one debate. It would quickly change into Paul's favor if they were against each other.

Ron Paul couldn't beat Mitt Romney in a debate...he would have no chance against Obama. The debates are Obama's gold...Ron Paul will look silly next to him with his oversized suit, jittering and nervous chuckling and crazy laugh when he is trying to make a point.

We have shown in another thread that those numbers are incorrect.
Not saying RP is ahead of mitt or close, but the numbers there are too high for Mitt and too low for Paul.

You have not, you just fail to respond when I've shown you that you don't understand how the process works. You have not shown that ANY of the hard counts are off...you are just to arrogant or ignorant to admit it.

You just come back with saying that somehow the Ron Paul supporters are going to vote to unbind every delegate...when that isn't allowed in the rules.

Such dishonesty...and from a group who claims they value such things. Go stick your head in the ground, plug your ears and shut your eyes....and keep creating this false reality.

Exactly.

Ron Paul needs to shake things up and I will no longer stand in the way of that. I have said in the past that if Paul were to choose Dennis Kucinich as a running mate, that he might have a better chance of uniting the Left and Right to take on the machine.

However, people have to be a little more realistic at this point.

RP's supporters don't seem to be helping his cause ON ATS with their willingness to attack anyone who disagrees with them.

And I thought the same thing...that Ron Paul is going to cause chaos and I can support that.

But then I read completely illogical replies from his supporters and I just can't do it...I have to respond to point out how illogical they are being.

But maybe I'll try again.

You notice how it is the Obama supporters who always show up in these threads just to tell us that Ron Paul has no chance of winning? Tells you something, doesn't it?

It should tell you that some people, who are on the outside of the Ron Paul camp, are being realistic and trying to inform those that have created a false reality.

In some instances, for example a religous cult, the people on the inside are so wrapped up in their delusions...they can't see that they are so wrong...it takes a person from the outside to come in and try to show them. Yes, at first they will call him a liar and hate him...but eventually a few people will start to listen. You can't save them all sadly.

Do you honestly think that a person who regularly comes to ATS is going to change their opinion in the matter of politics?...and thanks for calling Ron Paul supporters being part of a cult, I am sure that is going to win over their hearts and minds. Perhaps you should make some Obama threads, get the Obama supporters on ATS to flag it and get it put on the main page, enlighten us all in how he intends to fix this mess (actual solutions, regardless of Republicans won't let him excuses)

But don't fret Outcast, I don't want to be saved by anyone, I am perfectly capable of looking out for myself - don't need the government to do it for me.

And....you missed the point.

I don't think anyone, except for Ron Paul supporters, think they can change people's mind on their own personal political preference.

I was referring to being realistic about other things like not using 4 week old polls that is an outlier in 60 other polls. Or ignoring a hard count of delegates because people make things up like the bound delegates are going to abstain from voting. Or making up things like, "well they will just unbind themselves". Or claiming that if there were no media bias, Ron Paul would have 90% support. Or any of the other crazy things Ron Paul supporters claim.

I have my own issues of Ron Paul's policies...and I address those when explaining why I personally don't support him. All my other criticism of his supporters comes from them being completely dishonest about other things not connected with his policies.

LOL please name one of these things, here in this thread, so we may all have a good laugh about it.

Secondly, thanks for the hilarious laughs in the Ron Paul threads.

Thirdly, admit that you actually have no idea how a real leader would operate, since your definitions are like the common sheep, who thinks all this BS in the world is normal, and even necessary...so you need someone slimy who can operate within it, instead of DESTROYING it.

Despite of me trying to present facts instead of wishful thinking...I do actually hope Ron Paul supporters take over the Republican National Convention this summer.

Nothing will help Obama's campaign more than chaos at the convention.

Ron Paul 2012

Obama has already been chosen ..... I do not believe the Republicans want to be in-charge during the next four years when the prospects of the economy turning around are slim to none!

The Republicans have everything to lose if they win the presidency in 2012. However, Democrats have much to lose if they win the oval office and the economy doesn't rebound. The Democrats brand will be marred and tattered just like the Republican brand suffered during the eight years of Bush/Cheney ......

and that almost destroyed the Republican brand forever and it is still in the "recovery" phase!

The real question should be, "If Obama wins the general election for president will the Democratic Party survive when the economy fails to improve or crashes?"

This post is using a poll that is weeks old and outdated. The latest polls show Obama beating Paul. Out of more than 60 polls conducted over the past year of Paul vs Obama...Paul has only a +1 and +2...outliers. But that doesn't stop it from getting tons of stars from Paul supporters who are illogical and/or don't understand how polls work: www.abovetopsecret.com...

This post is denying a valid hard count of bound delegates just because it is opposite of his own false created reality. If this hard count is correct, it means that Paul is pretty much done in this primary. He tried in my thread to claim they are wrong...he just showed how little he knows about the process. But he continues to just be willfully ignorant and continue to spread false information that these counts are wrong: www.abovetopsecret.com...

So there you go...have your good laugh...or more likely ignore it and agree with what those posts say....even though they are false.

Ha ha at people thinking "The Public" wants Ron Paul. What in the hell does that even mean?? Is he polling at 100%? Are people shutting down the private sector in protest?

Or is that a small portion wants him, and you only count them as the public? Everyone besides Paul fans are trolls right?

The problems with RP supporters is that they approach their lack of support academically instead of practically. RP cannot win the delegates. He does not have the support of the people. Most people don't read ATS and understand his philosophy. Those RP supporters here are merely preaching to the choir. RP supporters don't walk streets, don't canvass and don't reach out in their own neighborhoods.

RP cannot stand on the same stage as Obama. He has no presence. People want a leader with presence and not a doddering old man. What RP says is generally true but he can't express it enough to win support. Obama will kill him on stage. We need someone who can debate with Obama. He certainly can't run on his record.

I hear Obama has a new campain slogan "Forward". Forward to the beginning? This man has put us so far in the hole, we may never get out. Obama wants to reboot and start again?

Barack Hussein Obama..mmm, mmm, mmm.
