Actually I said it doesn't "fully develop" until puberty (actually at the end of puberty)

And if someone says otherwise, then why aren't kids humping? I mean, if they are sexually active at such young ages (I mean straight out of the womb!)

We are all the same, our different experiences throughout life shape who we are, and who we are becoming.

What about gay folks that are no longer gay?

What about folks that aren't gay until their middle ages?

Also, if it is a gals mind in a mans body. Well, then what are transgenders? They don't like being called gay...

Being homosexual is a choice plain and simple. The masses have been brainwashed to be 'victims' with no sense of accountability. Hence people believing one can be born homosexual, an inherent logical fallacy, primarily Appeal to Belief as an example.

(using gays as the example, same concept opposite role goes for lesbian)

The dominate femenine energy of the now 'male' incarnated human vessel lives out the experience, its energy attracts that of a dominating masculine energy (opposite 'sex' and energy', hence 'like attracts like') and thus you have homeosexuals. No big deal, has nothing to do with the bible.. with God.. with being a freakshow..etc... its the individual souls choice to incarnate and take on a different approach as entering its female energy into a 'male' vessel.. Completely acceptable and normal, the soul is taking on a different lesson then what we look at as "normal" (lack of metaphysical understanding) in our society.

Religion has everything backwards, spirituality is being intuned with oneself, not as a person, as the infinite consciousness. Become in touch with your inner and higher self, you will learn many things on that path. Follow a religion, a book and a false "god".. and you follow the path of astray and confusion.

I am sorry, your posts come off like you dislike hetrosexuals and their ideas. (And their research...)

I'm telling you, Fluoride decreases circulating testosterone levels during fetal development, and thus alters the permanent brain chemistry of the child.

There are a few more chemicals that do the same thing, such as Biphenisol-A, but the Fluoride is the most prevalent, widespread, and potent.

I suppose I look at this a bit differently than most...

Our gender, and more specifically our identity with respect to sexuality, is the product of natural selection and evolution. It is programmed in our being to have a need to procreate and assume the role given based on gender. Now the question for me is what happens, and at what point does it happen, that ones identity towards their specific gender role for procreation become something other than what nature intended categorically? I simply do not have the answers but I do not find it impossible that a brain can be formed in the womb that contradicts the physical gender assuming such things are inherent.

Come to think of it, being created with the inherent attraction towards the same sex may just be a way our own genetics self destruct.

Sorry, just true....people can "pretend", because of social or familial pressures.....look if I had to (with a gun at my head) I could probably have "sex with a woman".....but as a Gay man, women to NOT attract me sexually!!

The decision to have sex is a choice. Who you are attracted to, is not a choice.

Why? We know 100% that Huntington's chorea is caused by a single mutation but we don't have cure for it and this is just a single gene we're talking about. As I've said previously the genetic component for behavior is much more complex than having a single gene. It is the confluence of many genes that will then predispose you towards manifesting certain behaviors. While what I'm about to say is also extremely simplistic it is closer to how it actually works. As the number of genes you possess that predispose you to a certain behavior increases the amount of environmental stimuli required decreases. This means a person may be predisposed to being homosexual but if the right stimuli are never encountered then the behavior may never manifest, thus passing the genes on to the next generation. Note that when I say environmental stimuli I am not talking just about societal norms, or sexual encounters, or anything like that. For example hormone levels in the uterus are an environmental stimuli. Homosexuality is not a choice it is the confluence of a number of factors that most people have no control over.

And mostly when it happens in the animal kingdom its because populations are over what the environment can sustain. Except for the Bonobos who just love to love ya baby. They have sex for everything. To say hello, to say goodbye, to settle an argument hell even when they are angry. These guys get it on all day long.

My mistake. I thought this topic, being in the medical forum, was about evidence. So I posted a lengthy series of evidence demonstrating the current scientific consensus on this issue. It gets ignored and immediately burried because people steamroll right along with their arguments and glib remarks. All of which get stars, of course. On both sides of the debate.

If you're not argumentative or cool, and you just present facts, and you acknowledge that the scientific consensus is still evolving but you present what is known to date... it's not entertaining enough apparently. (Ironically, I can virtually guarantee this post will get a reply or two. Anyone about to argue with me just proves my point.)

I thought people actually cared about the truth or at least what the truth might be. My bad. Carry on. It just brings me back to what I was trying to say here.

I know of at LEAST 6 people who were gay, and three of them are now happily married and starting hetrosexually based families...

I find it funny how you can say what other people are doing, but when the same is done to you it is "BS" or "Wrong".

Also, you failed to address this one:

"What about folks that aren't gay until they're middle aged?"

I know of one of those, he even said he didn't find guys attractive until his current mate...

Anyway, like I said gay is based off of circumstances. Children are NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE. So they can be neither hetro no homoSEXUAL...It's pretty simple...

Sexual preference is not a behavior. You can be attracted to the same sex and not act on it, but you can't choose to not be attracted.

Did you choose to be straight? Do you choose who you are attracted to?
