There are other videos on Youtube that demonstrate that. Still pretty cool. Now if only someone developed a working transporter, we wouldn't need cars, planes, or boats to travel...
The guy in the video appears to be a talented geek (the good kind) to make a toy. Cotterell mentioned some Russians who demonstrated an antigravity device who applied for a patent but could not get one because they could not describe the physical mechanism at work.
We are on the verge on incredible breakthroughs in science. Something is happening. In addition to the global awakening of governance, our brains are also waking up to practical insights for inventions.
THAT IS SO COOL, its such a strange feeling seeing something now REAL, that was just fiction a little while ago.
Who is betting that the government got actually lethals ones? If a simple citizen builded one, the government must have.
Watch the powers that be raid this guys home soon though and use this technology for their own purposes.

Really lame was expecting something better... That is not a real Star Trek Phaser. Just a toy with a measly laser inside that can only pop a balloon. No advances in technology have been made here folks.edit on 29-4-2012 by RevelationGeneration because: (no reason given)
