Astral-projection training (seeking psychic travelers)

Astral travel is a feat I have never been able to accomplish voluntarily. However, there are two instances in which I involuntarily left my body during a state of deep meditation. Though not intentional, these experiences changed my perceptions and my beliefs greatly in the short time in which they happened.

To this day, my descriptions of what I experienced do not do the scenes justice. In actuality, what I experienced cannot be accurately described because of the undeniable and unfathomable amount of beauty I was shown. The meditation I was utilizing at the time was intended to induce a hypnogogic state. Essentially, it was a meditation to get in between the waking and sleeping phase in which random images and sounds are produced in our minds while we are still conscious.

On this particular time, I was meditating and trying to acquire better understanding of myself via meditative introspection while in this hypnogogic state. I advocated the belief of symbolism, thus why I pursued this specific type of meditation as I believe the images we are shown whilst in this state can help give us a better understanding of our subconscious mentalities.

No matter how hard I tried to enter this state, for whatever reason I was unable to during this particular session. As moments passed, I began feeling a tingling in my skin, as if my body was radiating. It initially felt as though there were pinpricks in every one of my pores, but instead of feeling pain, I was feeling weightlessness. As I focused on the intensity of these pricking sensations, I began seeing images in the darkness of my eyes being shut.

At this point, I had little idea as to what was about to happen. The images were initially blurry, a collage of abstract colors that had little relevance other than their aesthetic beauty. As I focused on these colors, they began fading quickly and I felt as though I shot through this darkness. It was as though I was attached to a rubber band and someone snapped the elastic, sending me flying at a nauseatingly fast speed.

At this point, I opened my eyes and saw that I was on a road on a hillside beside a huge, effervescent ocean. What I first noticed was an incredible sense sensory perception. In the physical realm, my eye sight is very poor for my age -- I can't see well beyond 10 feet. In this plane however, my vision was crystal clear, and I could see intricate details from miles away. My sense of smell, touch, taste, sight, and sound were immaculately pristine. The second noticeable characteristic of this place was a sense of complete unity and connection. The road I was on was barely paved, and the road led down to this massive ocean. What was particularly intriguing about the experience was that there were orbs of light strolling down the same road I was on. Though I did not know them, I felt united with them, as though if I had any questions about their existence, the answers would be brought forth telepathically. Though I could not see past the horizon of the ocean, I felt as though if I focused on it I would be able to see what was beyond the horizon in crystal clear imagery. I felt every wave, every movement, every sensation there was to feel in this indescribably beautiful place.

After pausing for a few moments to observe this world, I began walking down this road to get down to the ocean, as that is where it seemed all these souls were heading to. The ocean itself was seen for miles, it was massive and crystal clear. It reminded me greatly of aurora borealis, only underwater. As I progressed down the hill, I saw many orbs of light entering the ocean and disappearing. As the waves crashed, the sea foam that was left sparkled like diamonds in the twilight. I observed this and remember thinking that where I was may very well be the afterlife. I felt the warm breeze brush along me, caressing me with a feeling of complete unity. I felt connected to the breeze, and even once it died out its presence was still very real.

I waited for the sun to set, and in doing so I saw the moon beginning to rise from the horizon of the sea. At this point, an orb came to me from the side of the road and informed me that I had to go back to where I came. On the same telepathic breath, it told me that I would see it again, that this was a place all have and would see. Just as quickly as those words were spoken, I was stolen from the unity and propelled back into the darkness like a slingshot. When I opened my eyes, I was looking out of my body -- and wasn't happy that I was back.

To this day, I haven't a clue as to where I was, or where I went. I'd like to believe that the orb was right in saying we'd all be united there. In this example, I believe I did indeed astral travel to another dimension. The lessons I got from this out of body experience are something that changed every perception I maintained, and added a mystery to my life unlike anything I have ever and will ever know.

I'm hard of hearing being completely deaf in my right with 80% loss in my left. When I do listen to Binural beats or any others; I have a feeling it doesn't change my brain state as it would a person with normal hearing. Don't ask why I think this, but I just do. This is why I'm trying the alternative, which is basically my last chance at being able to Astral Project properly.

I recommend people not to use it because it is NOT fun. It's best to do it the normal way.

OK OK OK. You are right about s. divinorum...but you never know where you'll pop up...I once popped up as a piece of fruit on a fruit stand. A woman in Victorian garb plucked me up and called me "magnificent". My brother once popped up doing somersaults in some elderly couple's front lawn which left them quit baffled.

Is astral projection the same as remote viewing I have been trying to figure out what is going on with me for over 20 years now...I haven't found one plausible answer yet.

and I saw your latest post about doing it early in the morning that's what it also states in my book but it seems so hard to try when your alarm wakes you up ( at least for me ) in a world where where time is everything, kind of wondering if there is other ways just as well (Asking this before I clicked the link)

Solid I feel your pain. In a chaotic mess we live in seems to deprive people of who they are, but if you put the time in it will change your outlook on many things, even one experience.

I think the most important factor is setting a goal, so look at my simple step guide and you'll understand. More than anything else setting that time-frame programs the body/mind.

No it's completely different, but some remote viewers have found that RV was a doorway to OBE's, if that helps. Remote viewing is to structure for me personally.

And for people talking about Salvia, please don't on ATS because they will shut the thread down.

My suggestion is use what you have inside you already, all the tools are already there.

Besides meditating which I do at will and also have contact with two guides while meditating...what am I suppose to recognize?

Please don't think that I am being an @ss, but I truly do not understand these experiences...especially the one I had in the great pyramid. It's very strange, but something that I feel I should be practicing, but who knows more, who is there to guide those that are seeking to further understand and control such experiences? Remote viewing then, for me is easier and I can control it...but only with family members. Is there a known reason for this?

In other words....where do we all go for help in understanding because I'm clueless

You'll succeed, just don't freak-out when you start to separate the first time. Talk to yourself and keep saying " I am safe" "This is my universal right" anything that will re-enforce yourself until your feel comfortable in your new state of being.

Example: Remember when you first learned to swim? Just like that, it takes time to get used of the water.

If you can give me any hints about something notable there, just to give me a clue where to start, it would be helpful.

And really, don't rush this. I'm not going to be hanging around drumming my fingers trying to rush you or anything. By the way, I tend to leave myself logged on to this site more often than I remember to log out, so I'll often appear to be on line when actually I'm not.

I would wager that the reason remote viewing is easier, is because it is more logical and done more on the physical plane, than on the astral plane.

Once you have projected it's actually you, or your essence leaving the physical body, with remote viewing they draw what they see on paper.

What I have heard is many experienced remote viewers cross the line, and eventually project by default, but this take years of practice.

The Rope Technique :
This technique was developed by Robert Bruce. I have included it because I find it to be one of the easiest techniques around. The speed at which it works is also surprising. Also this method does not require the ability to visualise .

This projection method will give you an etheric projection. The duration of this projection, in real time, will depend on the level of chakra development and energy flow you have attained.

As with all the techniques described, a deep level of relaxation is required.

Getting the feel of the Rope
Pin a length of ribbon, string or rope to the ceiling above you. Have it hanging within arms reach so you can easily reach up and touch it. Reach out and touch it frequently, until you are used to where it is in your mind. This ribbon is only a tactile aide. By being able to reach out and touch the ribbon, you used to the spatial coordinates of where the invisible, imaginary ROPE is. This grows both in your mind and hence as a thought form, making it easier to imagine yourself reaching out and climbing the ROPE with your imaginary HANDS.

The Rope Method is one method that has been exceptionally helpful for many. My issue with intentional astral travel is my inability to get into the sleep paralysis and get out of my body.

Astral travel revolves around getting into a relaxed state and feeling vibrations. Once you've reached the vibrational state and gotten used to the feeling, it's a lot easier to pop out of your body, according to friends of mine who recreationally astral project.

Okay, then I have misguided myself and thank you for clarifying this for me. I have healed my father at a distance of over 3,000 miles. He is no longer with me, but at the time his cancer suddenly disappeared for about 3 years then I got very ill...no cancer but very very sick. To this day, I have a screwed up thyroid. I was told by someone that I got sick because at least one time while I did a distant healing I did not properly dispose of the sickness. Don't know if it's all true or not, but at least I had my daddy around for an extra three years. He passed of complications do to prostate cancer. He was the image of health for three years...then he just suddenly passed. Then again, maybe it wasn't me, but I sure would like to think it was.

Soooooo.....if I remote view, I can see things going on with my daughters mostly and I never write anything down. I just tell them what they were doing and when and they all say "Mom how could you possibly know that", I have three daughters BTW and one son. One of my daughters has the same ability as did my mother, grandmother and so on as it's been told to me. Obviously, it seems that my maternal side all have various abilities. I'm just confused when it comes to the definition of remote viewing and astral projection. It seems I maybe projecting myself and not remotely viewing anything. So confused.

I never write down anything...I usually just text them and say something like "why did you just say or do that" and describe to them what happened. The daughter who has the same ability, is away in college in Philadelphia, I am in california and she has learned how to hide things from me sometimes.

I guess, what I am seeking is to understand how this happens and why. I do cherish the ability and feel nothing special for being able to perform certain things as I feel everyone can do this also. I just wish there was someone to help us all understand.

Maybe I already understand and won't face it....I dunno

It sounds like your are an empath, meaning you have abilities to connect with certain people. Many people are like this and don't know that they are.

People that are emphatic can heal from distances, some call it Reiki, but in the end they are all just words. The main point is everyone has these abilities, but we are taught so much rubbish at early ages we forget who we truly are.

We are not our bodies, they are only temporary.

And yes your correct, if you heal or do healing it's good to cleanse yourself of the energy, not that it's bad, or good just that the energy is a block. Kind of like taking the junk out of a plugged sink and putting it into another one, sooner or later it needs to be purged, but many healers forget until they get plugged up, so to speak.

I must say that what I experienced in Egypt in the great pyramid and other places across Egypt, were no healing events by any means (I don't think), I received outside information. However, maybe you're correct, because I have no clue...but I see a hell of a lot of stuff while conscious.

Also, I looked up empath here Empath Guide....and yes I hear animals and plants especially, I always want to be left alone and I despise crowds. I mean that with a passion...it's very difficult for me to be around many people at one time....I feel everything and it drives me nutz.

Realtruth definitely provided some helpful information. Many people are empathetic and do not realize their gift. Very commonly, individuals who heal run into issues with creating blockages if they are unable to cleanse themselves of that external spiritual hindrance. I believe that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, and that applies greatly in a spiritual sense. I highly recommend that you invest some time into looking at cleansing meditations online, as there are numerous free resources you can utilize.

If you run into problems, feel free to privately message me and I'll respond with a cleansing exercise that works really well for me (once I reach 20 posts I'll be able to respond). It's important to keep your chakras cleansed when doing any spiritual practice or focusing on any spiritual gift -- especially one involving healing or transferring someone else's energy into your own.

Are you being sarcastic about selling your energy to a darker energy That won't help anything nor will it assist or cure a thing. I don't mean to come off as condescending, but please don't ever ever consider dark energy because you will be taken to a place that you will most certainly need help recovering from. I doubt that help exists in willful abundance.

Yes I'm seriously considering it. If I do it, I'll be able to do some good for the rest of my life and go to hell for selling my soul just to have my hearing back because I just want to be in control of my life, else it's utterly pointless. And if life goes on like this for me, I will end up in the dark place regardless and I'm doing everything I can trying to not go there because I know I'm not a bad person.

If anyone finds or know of healer and if it's possible that they are able to cure people with deafness and hearingloss, PLEASE let me know by U2Uing me and I will give them my location and thyey can find me via Remote Viewing since I'm assuming they can heal people that way?

Well, my first and only full astral projection came by partial accident. I say "partial" because I was reading how to do it and it actually happened while I was reading. The book was 'New Age Hypnosis'.

I was 14 y/o at the time and when it was happening, I had no clue what was going on. I saw 2 black walls closing toward the inside of my vision. Once the black walls completely closed my body was in paralysis and I couldnt open my eyes even if I wanted to. Within a few seconds I could start to see everything in my room, though slightly foggy. The colors I could see were close to black and white, though I could see faint colors. One thing I noticed immediately was everything was in high contrast. The darks were REALLY dark, and the light colored objects were REALLY light. I sat up with my astral body (I didnt know I was sitting up with my astral body). I looked around my room in complete amazement. My ceiling fan was on, and I could hear each blade pass as if it were a helicopters blades directly overhead. I turned and looked at my TV and saw the tv show 'Jackass". I couldn't make out the words, kinda sounded like a charle brown adult [if you know what I mean].

But just then I saw something out of the corner of the right side of my vision. IT WAS MY BODY!! . At that second was the first time it clicked to me that I was astral projecting. The shock of the revelation wooshed me back into my body. I fought to open my eyes and when I finally did I took the book and I flung it across the room. The book landed behind my entertainment center and I didnt find it again until I turned 18 and was moving out of my parents house.

Ever since I re-found the book I've bought MANY more on the subject and have been trying unsucessfully to project. Now it isnt to say that I havnt gotten close, because I most certainly have. I've gotten to the point that I hear the wind RUSHING by my ears, the extremly heavy/light feeling, the unmistakable feeling of there being 2 of you. An astral body and a physical body, both of which you can 'feel'.

So there is my little story of my expeirence thus far into the relm of astral projection. Its alot of fun and I cant wait until I've mastered it. (no more need to spend money on vactions)
