How does this relate to anything in this thread? Syria has an oppressive regime. But you don't mind oppressive and murderous regimes obviously. As long as they fit your argument.

For the most part, prior to WW2, the muslim population of Western Europe was miniscule. There were pockets in the east as a left over from Ottoman expansion, however.

It is totally misleading for Amnesty to claim they have been a leading religion for "centuries", as this is a blatant lie. Unless of course you count the Ottoman invasions as a "leading influence", which is about the only time large swathes of Muslims tried to come to central and western europe, by conquest. Oh yes, the Moor conquest of Spain too.

Seems they only come to conquer, throughout history....

I tired to put a list together of Muslim countries that have banned the Burqa, but then I realised that pretty much all Muslim countries have oppressive and murderous regimes.

I don't like the Romanian gypsies that have recently flooded Birmingham. I don't like their behaviour, their thefts, trespass into my garden, dumping rubbish, pissing up trees and shouting in the streets at 4am.

Because of this I dislike all Romanian gypsies. Unlike Muslims, they are a race.

Does that make me racist? I guess so.
