Glad it took over a #ING YEAR to do this.

If I were Japan, I'd be laughing at my ultimate revenge for WWII.

Well good to hear you beat the disease. I guess I don´t have to tell you to be happy with what you have now, even though it may still suck from time to time.

I´m sure you are happy to be functioning an able to enjoy life again.

Thanks and yes, I love life and learn a very valuable lesson on life. I would never wish that upon anyone but I'm thankful for what I have learned through going through it.

It make me more passionate about the things in life that are hurting us like nuclear power - At the time of cancer I was put in a pediatric cancer center because of the type of tumor. I made friends with a lot of kids with cancer and it was soo hard to see them suffer and die - so when I read things like this it truly makes my heart hurt for those that will suffer from this event.

I think I would. I would just go elsewhere. Why even mess with it?

That's funny because I'm actually headed for Kauai in a few months, and no I'm not cancelling, I think by now the radiation is spread all over the world and I think with the California mountains trapping a lot of radiation as they trap a lot of the smog it's probably worse to be where I live than where I'm going to vacation.

The water is much worse in California as it is trapped along the coast, that water flows around the Hawaiian clearing out the water very frequently, same goes for the mountains - our mountains here in So Cal hold back a lot of smog which is why LA is so smoggy - I think with radiation it will be the same - the mountains trapping the radiation from the air.

Enjoy Kauai, It could be the last twenty years that humans can survive ourselves. Have fun, live big and most importantly don't let fear stop you from doing anything. Humans are in big trouble.

Actually, if I thought this was as end of times as 90% of the posters on the thread, I would book a trip to Hawaii and spend the rest of my money drinking on the beach and soaking up all the rads I could.

Glad I got the Flight Cancellation Insurance!! It is just unnerving knowing what has happened and the cover up that has ensued. Or lack of Cover is more Like it.

Thanks! At this point everything I do I try to have fun - life is too short and now with our wonderful leaders life is getting shorter but it doesn't mean we still can't love and be happy right at least until enough people see this mess as wrong and start doing something about it

- in a trail of fire I'll burn before they bury me, in the end we will all be one against them

The single largest question humans have always asked themselves is "What happens when we die?". Have you ever noticed that the very people that believe in Life after Death are the most afraid to die?

I do not fear death at all. It will provide the answer to life greatest mysteries. Life should be lived and a life without risk is not living.

Glad you grabbed a few more years of the trip ( :

I'm sure most of you know about enenews.com already. If you don't, I highly suggest you check it out along with ex-skf. (Just google ex-skf.) It's a shame it has taken so long for people to realize how dangerous this plant still is. It's just as bad, if not worse, as it was in the beginning. Radionuclides are concentrating at ever greater amounts in nature and I would consider all food and products from Japan contaminated until proven otherwise. If Japan doesn't allow the world to help, we can kiss the world as we knew it good-bye. I mean Japan is already completely contaminated, with much of the blame pointing to the gov't for spreading it on purpose, but if those fuel pools lose water it will become exponentially worse. Japan should be evacuated, but it can still be denied because not everyone will get cancer or disease despite the millions who are going to be effected already. If those pools collapse, there will be no denying anymore. Remember, anything above .1 uSv/hr is contaminated. .4 uSv/hr is ~ equal to 3.5 mSv/yr. .1 uSv/hr would be ~ .8 mSv/yr, which is acceptable even if higher than should be.

We should also not forget that it isn't the external radiation doses that are the problem necessarily. While external radiation is high enough to increase disease rates, the real problem is the ingestion of radionuclides. Not only are people ingesting high energy alpha emitters, which bombard the local cells inside the body, but they are often heavy metals. Uranium, even if it wasn't radioactive, is still a heavy metal that causes countless problems in offspring and the person himself. So it is important to understand that external doses can be .1 uSv/hr or .8 mSv/yr and still be dangerous. It's still dangerous because people are ingesting all kinds of the thousands of isotopes released, not just the 2 or 3 they normally test for. (Strontium, Iodine, and Cesium isotopes.) People are eating the contaminated food and are none the wiser. That is why it is easy to hide the fact that atomic releases, even with a magnitude of Fukushima, cause numerous health problems. Not just cancers, but heart attacks, circulatory problems, diminishing intelligence, genetic mutations, and sterility and sterile or mutated offspring to name but a few of thousands of diseases.

Don't let people tell you Japan is safe. I can see the media suggesting that Japan is safe since reports of the state of those SFP's have recently come out. They can argue that since the problem will be infinitely worse if the pools collapse or lose water, that Japan is ok right now. People would buy that, but ATS knows better. Also, expect the pools to fail precisely because of the amount of earthquakes Fukushima itself has been getting and the fact it will take many, many decades before the fuel is removed and taken off-site. Fukushima has been hit hard with earthquake after earthquake and when considering the time frame for total fuel removal, there exists a better than 50/50 chance that at least one pool will fail. They are, after all, just sitting out in the open. That is ignoring any further tsunamis or even hurricanes and storms. The pools are exposed to the environment and I can see torrential rainfall overflowing the pools or adding too much weight from rainwater. I'm shocked they aren't leaking more water than they can put in already. There is much we don't know yet and the extent of the current amount of radionuclides released is vastly under represented.

I know this is a somewhat off-topic post, but I feel it is important for people to understand that "low sounding" levels of radiation are still highly contaminated. (The .1 uSv/hr rule. The least amount of radiation the better.) When you understand this, you can see just how much Japan's land is contaminated. This is ignoring the ocean contamination, food contamination, air contamination, and fresh water contamination. Japan also burns radioactive waste, which is sadly everyday items over there now, spreading the pain. It's already hell on earth over there despite the quiet and almost peaceful atmosphere from a human sensory input perspective. Just wait till the effects of bio-accumulation further contaminate humans and animals through pollen and other means. I'm not a religious man, but I pray for Japan. The people didn't cause it and they didn't do it to spite America for WWII. It was greed and power, pure and simple. Japan overwhelmingly wants every reactor to remain shutdown for ever. May 6th I believe is the date the last one goes off-line for good. (Might already be shutdown.) Just wanted to point out that Japan is already screwed and the SFP's are just the final nail in the coffin. America would be hit harder than it already has been, obviously. I already stopped eating seafood and anything from CA, like grapes :-(. At least FL is still there. Be smart, be safe, and be pro-active.

That's an even more frightening thaught. Firing tons of nuclear waste Through the atmosphere hoping the launch will be a success and not have a failed launch and have the debris deposited into the atmosphere. Tha though is horrifying to me.

These are the days that will define mankinds future, one of the largest hurdles we have ever faced. What baffles me is the fact that the haven't eaten their pride and have world specialists in to figure out a game plan. These at defining years, if anything more happens and they loose further containment cooling and structural stability we are through as a race we once were. I don't mean to bring in the 2012 talks in on this, but the 2012 prophesy will have been fulfilled or quite near it. Rouge Planets, solar, galactic threats would be the least of our worries. We would be the cause to our own end.

Just want to add that the Situation is serious, even deadly serious
but not hopeless!

It is very difficult to understand the Situation in Fukushima when you read it
only by Sources like Endthelie or Enenews, it is the same when you read
only Tepco-News or the J-Government.

In my Opinion it is impossible to get a Picture without understanding the most Basics,
learn them.

I am still optimistic and i avoid Articles like this one mentioned above
because it is Yellow Press and nothing else!
(this do not mean that you shouldn't read it!)

Excellent info you provided.

Since you mentioned heavy metals, how does radiation affect fluoride, or vise versa?

That's an interesting question, that's another subject I'm passionate about because I know there is no benefits for a toxic waste like fluoride to be in water and preach that our water should not be fluoridated with sodium fluoride . I have no idea what radioactive particles could mean to the build up of metals in ones body from drinking fluoridated water but I would be curious to find out and would guess its not good.

IF I must die then let it be so.
I honestly wouldn't lose a minutes sleep if I knew an extiction level event were at our doorstep.
We as humans had our chance and we blew it.
Time to clean house IMO.

This isn't the fault of greedy corporations or corrupt politicians.
The blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the entire human race.
Each and every one of us.

Game OVER!!

IF we do not recieve outside intervention PRONTO
we will not be here much longer to worry about it.

These problems were caused by us....the human race and.......

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

Well I got all the morning done right after Fukushima was inundated. I've felt we were living on barrowed time ever since. Something horrible most certainly must be on the horison where the rising sun appears.

The wages of sin is death. No one gets out of here alive and it will do no good to run. I put in Gods hands.

SnF of course.
