ATS live chat conspiracy

I have never been on 'cos I don't know how to! Truthfully.

I'm not much for chat rooms but I do go on it when the ATS live show is on. It's always a good time. And it's saturday so it is ATS live day. Hope to see you there tonight. There is always good conversation during the show.

OK you got me. I lurk in chat. Although at midnight in pacific time you will see at least 7 or so in there. I stay quiet most of the time until some interesting topic gets brought up or I just get bored and need someone to chat with. Either way there should be more chatters like there was nearly a year ago but I believe ever since chat got changed with some stupid layout and the thread feed got removed, it pretty much made chat a ghost town except for live shows. Plenty of room for improvement but will it ever get done? Only time will tell.

Years ago we'd always have a big group in the chat every night. It was always a lot of fun. Mods like asala and djdohboy. Sometimes even SkepticOverlord or Springer. Every night for hours. Those were fun times.

I saw SO go in chat but after a second or two he left. I guess him seeing the low number of people that attend chat convinced him to leave with a quickness.

I find the ATS chat interface invasive and gaudy.

Why won't ATS run an IRC server and let people connect with a client?

Oh that's right, limited ad revenue.

Paid informants? I dunno. Maybe some on multiple accounts.

What are your guys feelings? Is it just the the ATS live chat just came back on that theirs that few people on at any time of the day...

Let's deny ignorance and get a conversation... I just want the ATS live chat more active, and not the same people... Some I believe are paid by TPTB.

I dunno. Some ATSers are regulars. One thing I know is that I ain't paid to chat... It would be cool, though, to have a penny for each of my posts!

No ad's on the chat function.... I just want them to pick one for all their members... Skype or the basic chat function... I want a link everyone on the site can click...

Then we can be having grand discussions all day.

It feels very cliquey and I don't like that kinda thing.

I'm not a big chat/IM person.

It's all over the place and hard to actually "Chat"




For those that like it I'm sure it serves a purpose.

I understand, but it's nice to meet new people even if it is via a ATS chat room...

If you ever get board just give it a try.... I mean on saturdays it's awesome about 20+ people...

Everyone is respectful and just chilling listening to the ATS radio and commenting...

It's actually really great. I hope to see you in their maybe next saturday, Every mind is welcome...

Just try to bring manners as well.

I know we're all fairly well mannered if we have over 150 posts.

Well I'm in UK and the saturday show is on at 2am my time, used to sometimes listen when I'm up or back or whatever, not so much now.

I have never seen you in chat yoyoyoyoy, and I am in there often.

Furthermore, there is private chat options in the chatroom, so you can chat with just one person if you want, without the others being able to see it.

As for your accusation of people being in there being shills etc, I find it a bit offensive to be honest. I have met some great people in there, and they are definately not shills or paid informers. So calm down please.
