Is it me or is everyone in my neighborhood is talking about the Illuminati? It seems so. For some reason all my friends are talking about the illuminati out of nowhere. Then the next thing I know, everybody started talking about it. They say things like "im in the illuminati now" and start joking about it. I asked them where they heard about the illuminati and their reply was that they got it from popular rappers, pop stars etc.

They mostly said that they got the word from one of Drake's music videos.

So ats what do you think about the situation? Is it becoming popular?

Have you seen anybody unusually start talking about it?

The best place to hide something is right in front of everyone.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making you believe he did not exist.

Ectcetera and blah are the appropriate words to describe the noises adults made on the Peanuts cartoons.

Are you a teenager? Sounds like your friends are because they are talking about what the popular rappers are rapping about.

"Illuminati want my mind, soul, and my body. Secret society, tryin to keep they eye on me."

Eh, close enough I suppose, well until they hit 25+. The interesting part is that rappers are openly rapping about the Illuminati? What rappers did they specially say are rapping about them and what's the name of the songs?

Ugh, Drake is horrible. Rap is not what it used to be. Prodigy of Mobb Deep was on the Alex Jones show a few months back because he's very outspoken about the Illuminati, www.abovetopsecret.com...

Rappers rapping about the Illuminati isn't new, and I know this that's why I posted that LL Cool J Video, but I don't listen to current rap because its terrible so I dunno what they're rapping about these days. So my question to the OP is what rappers and songs of their has his friends so openly talking about the Illuminati.

Most of those tracks are 10+ years old and hip hop wasnt as popular as it is now

Now that hip hop is practically pop music the whole Illuminati word, idea, conspiracy is now reaching more people through it.

But really, the internet is what blew up the illuminati conspiracy.

Modern rap songs that say the word :

It's the "Cool" phase, a small one, but one nonetheless, I have a friend who has "Illuminati" Around a pyramid with the all seeing eye above it. Cuz he is just so hardcore and out there.

Well it's basically evolving if you will, the term Illuminati has now reached a more main stream understanding in the notion that it has become main stream in terms such as cabals TPTB (The Powers That Be) and so on where as fifteen years ago the only term people used to desrcibe the above mentioned was Illuminati but with the understanding that the other words i gave for examples are basically the same group we are talking about has allowed for the conspiracy to become more main stream and a better understanding of who they are in a general sense.

Yeah I can see this being one of the phases. I just can't believe it's about the Illuminati
. When I was younger the cool thing to do was to wear baggy pants and then sag them. I miss the 80s, and 90s. Now it might be cool to somehow associate yourself with the Illuminati
hilarious

I have noticed that the in the past year or so that the Drudge Report has been increasing the amount of links to Alex Jones' website. There could be an increased amount of minds hearing the words NWO and Illuminati due to that kind of exposure. Add in the effect of Dan Brown, and yeah popular culture could be latching onto the word.
