I have noticed it too. I think Dan Brown's books have sparked some interest in the masses. It's been read by millions.

I don't even know myself what the illuminati is. I know about it and the symbology, but is there really a small group who control everything. I doubt it.

You shouldn't doubt what you say yourself you know nothing about. If the leaders of Govt, Banking, & Industry control the world then it's very possible a small group can control anything. See: Bilderburg group & Bohiemian Grove.

I am aware of the bilderberg group and Bohemien grove, but they are not the illuminati that people talk about. They are the global elites. I'm just not sure if an actual illuminati exists. At least we have good proof for both the bilderberg group and Bohemien grove. An illuminati , not so much. Not saying there isn't one , but ive not seen enough proof.

They dont call themselves illuminati.

They prefer "they" The term illuminati is so limited.
Good...They took my advice and decided to go more with a comical "dont take it so damned serious stance"

Please dont call us The Powers That Be either. We run up against ourselves with powerlessness and unmanageability just like everyone else. We get frightened, childish, indignant, arrogant but we can also care deeply.....sometimes too much.

yes just recently i saw alot of status updates saying "im part of the illuminati now haha" or "the illumitai are amazing", "now working for the illuminati" etc.

at first i didnt know what was going on, then i realized the people saying this listened to lil wayne, drake, niki etc

im not sure how i feel about this, i mean its good that you can now talk about the illuminati without people looking at you like youre from another planet but idk something doesnt feel right.

don't forget 2 pac, with his killuminati: the 7 day theory.

but he was talking about killing them. and he had an army of followers who were inspired by his music.

well, we know how pac ended up.

what makes the illuminati dangerous, they except hell, the know hell is real, they know God is real, they know the enemy of mankind is real and they aren't human any more.

people think possession is the exorcist, with heads spinning. but those cases are rare because those people fight the oppression, they don't give into it.

whereas there are some who are to weak to fight, embrace it and work in with it. they engage in occult worship and rituals.

the proof is in the pudding. there sphere of influence is great. much more than the yo's yo's who deny God and believe in the monkey theory.

i feel sad for those people, they gave up without a fight. maybe God is merciful on the ignorant.

you can't fight supernatural influences without supernatural help.

imagine how weak and insignificant and powerless they are, when standing behind you is God, the Son of God and an army of millions of angels, the saints, and all of Heaven.

you won't fear them, they'll fear you.

And the sad part? Rappers are johnny-come-lately to the party. Rockers, writers and counter-culturists have been satirizing, parodying and sending up the Illuminati since Robert Shea / Robert Anton Wilson, way back in 1975. There are literally dozens of rock / punk / indie and art-rock groups, dating back over 30 years, who named themselves after the fictional groups from the book.

And the sad part? You not realizing rap really wasn't around like that in the 70's..

(And since I know someone won't be able to resist being a wise guy, I know there were probably a handful rappers around, what I'm saying is, the genre wasn't widespread)

Well, no. He was talking about killing the idea of a fictional unstoppable cabal bent on suppressing his people. He saw the theory itself as ridiculous and the focus on it as a distraction to genuine progress. Listen to this.

and he had an army of followers who were inspired by his music.

Sadly, all he had was an army of people inspired by what they thought he said.

Illuminati is just a word to describe the old generation of group consciousness.

500 years ago = illuminati

Today = consciousness

Its just the old world word used to describe those that are of the society that can read minds. Its not special, the fragments have been bred into the common man that just about everyone possesses the group consciousness. Its not really a privlidge. I mean who would want to share a soul? Id rather have my own.

Start throwin it out to every asshole and you get the poor direction our society is currently headed in. Too much garbage among the mass (according to them). I somewhat agree. We wouldnt be in the place that we are if we had skilled people running things. Theres an intentional ruining of our resources, people, land, etc.
