Several things have been misstated in the bible do to mistranslation from ancient Hebrew to Greek then on to English. Some Ancient Hebrew words have no proper English translation.

One of the first and simplest ones, The Serpent in the garden of Eden talking to Eve. The real word in the ancient Hebrew text really means "The Shining One". A description of Lucifer commonly used at the time.

I am not trying to Hi-jack the thread or dis-rail the discussion. I believe that if you love the person that there is no harm in making love to that person. I am a Christian and I know when something is wrong because you just feel it in your soul.

The biggest outright cover ups by the church is the claim by the church that the Watchers in ancient Hebrew text has been twisted into IE: Fallen Angels and their offspring the Nephilm were somehow the decedents of Seth.

These 200 Watchers led by Lucifer rebelled from God because Lucifer was to arrogant to not have us Humans bow and worship him. They came to earth as Gods. ET type Gods, not from the God we know or man would have known they were no good.

They taught man all the sinful ways of War and such. They then decided to take Human women for themselves and make the abomination, the Nephilm, Godless, Soulless Giants to be their force multiplier on earth. They built monuments to themselves and made the population of earth bow to them.

They would have came in Human looking form to not scare the crap out of everyone at the time, also woman would have not have been attracted to them at all if they looked scary or funny.

While the Watchers were playing their trick on Man, they had a home base to operate from, where they did not have to hide their identity. If you follow the bible it tells us that the Arc Angels were sent to earth to destroy most of the Watchers and arrest the leaders, toss them in the bottomless pit on earth, then God sent the flood to wipe out the Nephilm and any history of their wickedness.

That home base had to have been Atlantis and a few others that are laying on the sea bed floor, just now being located over the last ten years or so. The Watchers guessed that God would not completely destroy earth to get rid of them so they made very robust homes and monuments that could withstand just about anything.

Balbek, Lebanon was a major home for the Nephilm. The Great Pyramids were some kind of power plant for them. The found pyramids off Japan and Cuba deep under the sea also is a major clue to bases of power for them, Atlantis was simply destroyed for the most part by the Arc Angels and their battle with the head Watcher.

The greatest trick ever pulled was not fooling us that the devil doesn't exist, it was who he really was and that him and his buddy's have been here before and will come again in a very similar way.

Greek Mythology was no Myth. This is why we are seeing these UFO's in massive numbers as they are being made by our governments to fool mankind once again.

It should not come as a surprise that UFO's have advanced from 50's tech looking to massive triangles all tech advanced for today's UFO believers.

All the UFO's today are mostly balls of light moving at incredible speeds, this is the sign Lucifer is here. That is why they called him "The Shining One"

Sex isn't a sin. Taking a reward that is not earned is a sin. This is the same as uniting with a reward apart from love. All unions should happen from love. All unions require suffering and sacrifice to produce reward. Taking reward that is not earned creates suffering because one side is taking from pride. Have sex all you want, just know that there is a way to give toward reward and take toward suffering. Pride takes but humility and love can only give. Both sides of the union need to be equally yolked. When pride is present in a relationship, it destroys the bond by taking what is not earned instead of giving with no desire to receive.

Your trouble is not with Christians. We are only reflecting the truth of the law. Law is your problem. This is the mistake many people make. They confuse the object (Christian) with the subject (Law of God). Break the law and it brakes you back. This is the consuming fire of God that cuts away our pride and shows us the necessity of humility and true love. Love is hard for all of us. This is what it takes to experience love fully. Sex is not love. It's the reward of love. Sex produces offspring. Love is the point. We pay it forward. God was gracious enough to make it feel good. The point is not about us. It's about what we produce by the act.

Every other Christian out there is just as guilty as you for doing their various other "sins".
The difference is that they tell themselves it's ok when they don't want to feel guilty about it. Stop caring about whether it's "right" or "wrong", and problem solved.

By the way, if that was your first sexual encounter, it's perfectly normal to feel guilty or ashamed.

If you need some peace in the christian way. Jesus died for your sins, so sin away. Thats what he wanted you to do. You need to sin as much as you can and you need to enjoy it. It is the only way you can learn what you need to learn. Jesus wants you to accept your own sins and trust him to deal with the aftermath. So go nuts, you wont go to hell.

If you are capable of thinking straight and logical. ....really? It's sex, enjoy it. It is natural, it is fun and exciting. Best thing about it? It is meant to be fun and exciting! It is supposed to make you happy, being with the one you love. Dont listen to the different religions thoughts on sex. Be religious, that is okay, if it makes you happy it is awesome. But whatever you do, dont follow your religion when it comes to sex. Just be safe about it, get checked, use a condom use birth control and enjoy it. It is okay, your meant to enjoy it. So relax and forget about it. Just have fun.

Edit: Also, you dont have to love the person your having sex with. It can be a one night stand. Thats great too. Just be safe about it.
Or stick to being with the ones you love. Yes you are perfectly capable of loving several different people in a life time. Love comes and goes, one day you will find one that lasts.

Not all christian beliefs are against sex before marriage. Here in Denmark, most are protestants. Most of the danish population sex it away right from the age of 13-14. It is not a sin. But then again, the majority of us are hardly religious. We just use the church to get baptised and married.

Congratulations on starting to wake up to the evils of organized religion.

Follow your inner intuition...if you know right from wrong and are kind to others...that is what is important.

I am into about my 6th year of recovery from being Catholic...raised by grandparents that went to church everyday..but in their real lives were a mess...my Pop was don right evil at times. But he went to church.

Please dont let it destroy your faith though. Your feelings about a creator or lack of one should be personal, in your heart...not something put up on display.

My family is in different stages of recovery right now from atheists to regular church goers...it is different for everyone.

Good luck! It's like leaving a cult...your mind has to heal.

Christians don't make you who you are anymore than the Bible does, or anymore than anything else. You are who you are, and what you do is your own doing. There should be no reason to feel guilty for what you feel and, by proxy, what you do.

One last thing I would like to add to the OP.

If you still feel the need to be Christian, but want your freedom. Just be a Protestant Christian. It is way more free.
Protestants dont preach or mention hell or how sins will destroy you. They preach that God is love and forgiveness, that is pretty much it. I asked my priest once at a young age: "What do we believe and what should I believe?" And he told me to be good a man, help someone I see in need of it and read the bible and find out which parts I would agree with. He told me the bible is a collection of stories meant to guide my morale, not tell me black on white what to do and how to act. Just learn from the stories written in it. He also stressed the fact that it is a collection of stories, some may be true, some may not, make up your own mind. Just be a good man.

I simply ended up choosing not to believe in any of it. But the stories in the bible that I read, still gave me some sense of direction on what it takes to be a good man.

Dont feel guilty. All sex, even with multiple partners, is fine so long as none of them are animals or children. It's your sex life, your sex organ. No need to feel guilty about it


I would also like to add that there's nothing wrong with being a Christian. What's wrong is being a super Christian that insists you jump in other peoples' lives, regardless of how personal something is. Though I will never compare even the most annoying Christian to Westboro. That's horrible.

Hahahaha, you're funny. Maybe it's legal because, as my exchange students from Norway and Denmark put it, the Danes are always drunk. I know you aren't, though. Just a funny tid bit to go along with a funny law.

Those same students always told me Americans were fat. Ha! They were great observers!

Once again I shake my head at thread's like this and I'm so tired of seeing them everyday, It's not even the stupid anti Christian threads that leave me face palming almost everyday, it's just thread's like this in general.

So actually these thread's shouldn't even get past the fifteen minute mark of life. Theoretically they should be closed within minutes of existence. but for what ever reason they seem to linger for day's with no useful purpose than to annoy intelligent people.

God can't be so picky giving us free will and all. The way I look at it, at some point I will reach God, when I get there I wanna give him/her the greatest gift of all. An account of experiences and emotions that are unique to me and me alone throughout my life. We wouldn't have free will if we were to all live the same life with little differences.

It would be boring if everybody reached God and had the same story to tell over and over wouldn't it?

Single reason I dislike religion and their rules for living. Thanks but I'll make my own rules and live with the consequences. I do the best with what I've got. Don't ever forget though, your human, you will make mistakes. Not one person on this planet is perfect in everything they do.

Faith is good, it can keep your morals in check. Separating ourselves from each other through different religions seems blasphemous and evil too me.

The "love your neighbor" and "try to be less judgmental" are good stuff. Too bad the Christians didn't focus on that, right? What a world it might have been.
