oh and i named the images 'object1, 2 and 3' because after i emailed them to myself and downloaded, the default download name was just the 'get-attatchment' thing that older macs do. i labelled them so i could find them in my downloads folder for the photobucket upload.

Let's see. Imagine you have three pictures you want to get off your phone and onto your PC. You decide to email them to your gmail account or whatever. You email them in the order you took them. When you get to your PC there they are in you email account with the most recent email at the top. You work your way through the emails starting from the top downloading each photo in turn. You then open your Downloads folder and order the folder by modified date (descending) so as to easily spot the files you just saved, then rename the files as you do to remove the default download name (again working from top to bottom). The most recent image you took now has the name 'object1' the oldest 'object3'. A not unreasonable hypothesis of what may have happened I hope you will agree and certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.

So there exists a perfectly valid and reasonable explanation of why the files might be named as they are. Yet this is one of the cornerstone arguments that have been used to hang this guy.

The other two arguments are the gps location data and the timestamps both of which assume complete infallibility on the part of the technology used.

If the technology is not infallible then there exists a reasonable doubt.

The thing that I personally find funny is the fact that the admin edit on OP posts a link to a post explaining why its a hoax, HOWEVER that post was made AFTER this thread landed in the hoax bin and the member got banned lol!

And also I love how ATS likes to call upon "experts". I was glad to see a member here talk about compression and how a jpeg is a lossy compression : meaning it loses bits when re-opend and re-saved.

People who actually STUDY on school about formats etc etc know these things.

The thing is most people here have Photoshop and can flip some filters hue/sat , contrast/brightness and think they are an expert. They see an artifact and voila its a hoax.
An EXPERT would never even start on a jpeg let alone save it afterwards again as a jpeg/

I would love to see a list of these so called experts and their experience.

Another question to ask is if he was hoaxing this, why not just name the files in the correct order in the first place? It's odd he would go to the trouble of creating this elaborate story and then not take the time to ensure the photos were in the correct order. It would seem such a simple thing to do for this master hoaxer.

Another point is, I always rename files I put somewhere else, ie from my photo upload folder to the desktop, for easy resizing on forums, so that I can find the darn things.

I don't understand how you don't understand. The camera is a low tech object with a processor. Even if its stamped as "time", what has that got to do with his pics? A person could click their button rapidly, and the "UFO" could appear all over the place, because they don't follow our physics. Or the whole thing is glitched. OH, do you not think ET messes with camera's, intentionally or via their energy field? I do?

How many times do you see threads asking if abductees or experiencers have set up monitoring cameras to catch them, or tried to fight back?

Its ludicrous. No, setting up camera's won't work. Not that you may not get something on the camera. Depending on who is doing the abducting and what they want to nudge in your awareness, you may get something showing up, but it would be one of those, anomalies that interest you, but hotly debated if posted, for it would probably be hard to define image.

But in most cases, camera will mulfunction.

In addition, you are not in a state of getting choices, your entire processor, time programs, system has been hijacked, and everything from that moment on, in perception, what you see, etc, is only what they will allow or want you to see.

What I was alluding to happened end of May, 2010, roughly, and there were 2 groups. The ones that took my 3 family members, and may have messed with my youngest son, because in the cover dream he was off to the side, and I had to tuck him back in, put a blanket on him. And he is like me, feels them, knows where to look, sense energy fields around our bodies, locates painful spots instantly, sees them as red spots??? When I was going shopping, a black chopper flew over our house, low, and at that moment a car speeds off. No one paid attention, except for my youngest, he knew right away, and reported it to me as if I'd missed it, matter of fact.

In that experience, I was shaking my fist at the sky and demanding they were brought back. And then was asked to fill out a questionare.

In any case, what takes sleepy people is more of the lower frequency, and often works with paramilitary/black ops here, though, I will say very clearly that not all is what it appears on that lower level, some of that is a trojan horse, on behalf of freeing this planet, but, there is tests obviously, and we need to pass them, ie care about freedom, AND equality/social justice equally. No more accepting homeless or poor. Because ET/Higher Ups/Family, do not understand the lack of love here. Stay in your heart. If its a choice between buying a political concept or helping equalize and caring for people, make sure all people win, beause the other is just a thought in your mind. You opinions do not have the right to enslave or harm other people. Ooops there is all our political parties and systems gone!!! Or should be.

So not all lower level ET activity is negative, though some of it is. There are negatives. And our PTB seem to be contracted with them.

But people come in on assignment or for lessons. They have their own teams, and families watching over. Our souls are cosmic, and multi dimensional. Past families, ie where you came from, who love you, and are watching over, or you may have agreed to help them out, Future families, who love you, and are watching over, and are nudging you all they can.

It has to do with your level of awareness.

Excellent book to read. The Three Waves Of Volunteers and The New Earth, by Dolores Cannon. Eye opening! But if you already have some memories, it can trigger more.

In other words, what do we know?

Can camera's be altered?

ET is very advanced, and things can occur on multi levels at the same time, ie, each person in their own private room/box with those around them, the abductees different, in even one family, ie, as if only certain things are permitted in the testing ground, and it all has to do with a persons level of awareness.

I don't mean to seem as if I am condonig malicious treatment of members who bring something they believe to be a possible extraordinary event and want to get to the bottom of it and share it with the world.

If this is not what they want to do, if they are not attempting to hoax the community here and any others who come in contact with the story, why post it here or anywhere? If it is something that a person wants to keep for themsleves and not have a definitive explanation offered, it shouldn't be mentioned here or anywhere. What comes from posting things on this site and others is the systematic dis-assembly of the story and the supporting evidence.

I believe it is great to have a place where we can share these things and our opinions on other member experiences and know that the overall community will not try to advance a hoax. Too many places do that and in my opinion, it is worth enduring some of the disrespectful and tactless remarks that are also too often made here, in order to sustain a community dedicated to the truth and making sure the facts are inline.

If I could change anything, it would definitely be the remarks that are made by some here, based a lot on their prejudged idea of the OP, the topic, or what is possible. The change I would be make would be only to turn those members into individuals with open minds who would hold their judgment until they have had time to fully read the thread, study the photos, or watch the videos in their entirety.

The UN Ambassodor to ET article was found on the 'BreakingNews.com' site and it was linked to many other highly reputable sources of current and future events. I also don't mean to use the contents of that article or thread as a subject of discussion in my post. I meant only to use it as a reference point to show that something can be discovered, interpreted as a trusted and factual event, and displayed on ATS only to learn later that the subject is either partly or entirely false. Not every member who posts inaccurate information does so mailiciously and that's why I believe it is gerat to have a place like ATS, where HOAXes can be displayed accidentally and/or deliberately and the community here will do their best to determine the validity of the information.

In my opinion, it is great to embrace this aspect of ATS and the reputation created by the members. If you visit enough of the other sites that discuss alternative news, you will eventually come across people on those sites acknowledging the fact that HOAX information or attempts shouldn't be tried at ATS, since they are usually crushed within a few hours.

I've also seen people on other sites say that the way to guage whether the HOAX they are trying to perpetrate should be tested first on ATS and if it can convince the majority of the members here, then they know they have a good lie and can try to turn it into a bigger story.

Not sure if you do or do not agree with any of my opinions, but that is the great thing about this site, you don't have to. You do not have to try to convince me otherwise and I need not try the same to you. It is great that we can share these opinions and maybe find ourselves looking at certain things differently after seeing each other's ideas.

It would be good if eveyplace and reply used this basic respect for others, instead of trying to attack them on a personal level, but again, I think it is tolerable to some extent - as long as people realize that some members do not have proper social skills that allow them to debate while maintining respect for others - if the overall outcome continues to point to a probable explanation based on the facts and members continue to refuse fictional stories that are sometimes attempted to be passed as fact

Because he is being honest? I think some folks around here have a tendency to project their own dishonesty onto others, something that I was detecting as I was reading the first page of this thread.

Let's try this hypothetical...

1. His story is completely true.

2. His dog really got sick from this event.

Now what?

Do these pictures stand up to the scrutiny of the public and Mainstream Media?

Shouldn't this man proceed to the Doctor to have himself checked out?

Or, did those pesky camera shy Aliens only Photon Ray his puppy?

The guy says he's ready to back it up. Then he disappears. We have all seen this before.

One other point really stuck out to me. When I saw something, I know the time to the minute.

Just not enough here to prove anything. Even if the story was true.

My sister was almost abducted. She and the lady that would pick her up from her rectory job at the church got chased for a block and into our house by a small probe like craft. It hovered over the house and made all our appliances short out and just freak out. They were both sick for like a week after. I know it was not a lie since this lady does not believe in aliens. She thought it was a ghost or something.

If she were to send pics of it after from a phone, to a pc, to a forum, she would rename them "AHHHHHHHH" in the process because of the state they were both in.

I didn't think this was real although I have heard of those symptoms his dog had before I read this. I don't understand how you guys can preach about decorum and respect yet rail this guy for what might be a good find.

I am not convinced either way. but still. I don't know for a fact he is a liar. His dog might feel like my sister and our family friend felt after that incident. He got that part of the story correct IMO.

Not that I in any way contributed to the debunking on this thread, but I can say I bring a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a biometrics focus, 12 years of data-mining/forensics and technical systems architecture with multiple Fortune 500 companies in the US and a couple corporations abroad, 3 years of the same with Lockheed Martin Global Combat Support Systems with government cleared secret clearance (no....not top secret), multiple security certifications from ISS/IBM for ethical hacking and data forensics as well as multiple virtualization architecture certs with VMware and Citrix Xen. There is plenty more I can list and many projects I have worked on with the government in security, data forensics and virtualization at bases in Ogden, UT, Dayton, OH, Montgomery, AL and others....

I currently work on Visitor Management Systems for large companies that house data on facility visitations and employees within highly secure environments.

Intrptr, at this point this thread has little to do with being a hoax or not. People come here wondering " is their life on other planets,and might these aliens pass by here time to time." Then when you see how the OP gets smacked all over the place for posting what he thought was real or wasn't ( i'm not confirming its legit or denying ) Then something is terrible wrong here on this forum. Even getting banned for it!

I just have to constantly laugh at these types of posts. Please show me your evidence and explanation of the super advanced alien tech you speak of, and how you have become one of the ones that know about it. Please include any credentials you may have that allow you to interpret said super tech as well. i literally grabbed the phone from my pocket, opened up camera and started mashing the shutter button as fast as i could, resulting in about 4 frames per second at a fairly regular rate. these are the only 3 in which the object appeared, from what i've looked through so far; i will check again though in case i missed anything. the strange part is it seemed to make an exit as soon as i pointed my iphone at it. i have no doubt whatsoever that it was hovering at least the entire time between me spotting it and taking the phone out my pocket/opening camera app and pointing.

There are more pictures between the first picture and the other two that the OP has posted.
If this was the main reason to declare a hoax , it is sadly lacking in my opinion.

I wouldn't say Dogma so much as the OP's claims and evidence did not hold up under scrutiny.
