Of course not, they all went out of their way to try and show off their accomplishments to their own military personnel and to their own public...
Except when it came to the bitterly suspicious american military police, who, following orders, cordoned off under armed guard and concealed from their own troops and their own people, supposedly japanese airplanes, supposedly being flown by japanese people from japan, supposedly shot down by americans...
Wow...Hmmmmm?...It doesnt take a rocket scientist...Does it?...

During the attack on Pearl Harbor, nine Zeros were shot down.[14] From these wrecks, the Allies learned that the Zero lacked armor and self-sealing fuel tanks, but little else about its capabilities.[15]
The japanese airplanes of 1941 (or anyother time) were not "that" good and were not really advanced beyond our own.Its not like the americans were flying around in broken down pickup trucks and the japanese were flying around in porsches. Both countries aircraft were "very similar" and so there would have been no "normal" reason for cordoning off the wreckage of japanese airplanes and then placing them under armed guard and why exactly were those guards armed? In case someone walked too close to a downed japanese airplane, close enough to see that some of the vital parts of the aircraft were actually american, for one thing and those armed guards would have shot people dead on the spot and not a leg or arm wound either, but a head or heart shot...bastards...

In the top picture the tail code is not shown but we are told this is "A1-154".
In the bottom picture shows American made equipment in the cockpit. I wonder how easy it would be for the Imperial Japanese Navy to get a hold of one of these. It even has a serial number on it.
Fairchild Radio Compass Model RC-4, serial # 484.
to add:
The interesting thing about the Type 1-3 is that it was a copy of the Fairchild Aero Compass, manufactured in New York by the Fairchild Aerial Camera division of Fairchild Aircraft Company. The Zero coded AI-154, which was shot down at Fort Kamehmeha during the Pearl Harbor attack had a Fairchild-built direction finder Model RC-4, serial number 484 installed in it, as did the Zero, which was captured in the Aleutian Islands seven months later. just wanted to add a better set of pics for "AI-154" from the memorial website of a Pearl Harbor vet, Jacques Fuselier.

After intelligence officers inspected the plane at Brisbane, it was shipped on to Melbourne to be studied further for whatever could be learned. But it was not in condition to be easily rebuilt after the the souvenir hunters had done their work. It was a mean lesson for the Technical Air Intelligence officers to learn. In future crashed planes were guarded vigorously, and souvenir hunting was discouraged with new regulations and procedures designed to preserve valuable enemy aircraft and equipment for intelligence studies.

In 1940 Claire Lee Chennault, leader of the Flying Tigers, wrote a report on the Zero's performance. However, United States Department of War analysts rejected it as "arrant nonsense" and concluded the performance attributed to the Zero was an aerodynamic impossibility.[12] Early in the war, the Zero outclassed any Allied fighter it encountered. According to American flying ace William N. Leonard, "In these early encounters and on our own we were learning the folly of dogfighting with [the Zero]"
In early combat operations, the Zero gained a legendary reputation as a "dogfighter", achieving the outstanding kill ratio of 12 to 1
The Akutan Zero has been described as "a prize almost beyond value to the United States",[3] and "probably one of the greatest prizes of the Pacific war".[4] Japanese historian Masatake Okumiya stated that the acquisition of the Akutan Zero "was no less serious" than the Japanese defeat at the Battle of Midway, and that it "did much to hasten Japan's final defeat"

I already explained that these planes at pearl Harbor would have been the AMONG THE FIRST EVER examples of this plan that , and the Americans had no other examples before these of the technologically advanced Japanese planes.

Let me play the devil's advocate (or the moron's advocate, if you prefer) --
The US developed the Zero before the war in complete secrecy, with the purpose of bombing Pearl Harbor. Once this was achieved, there was no further production of the Zero in the US, but the plans were secretly and intentionally transferred to the Japanese who immediately seized the opportunity to produce a superior fighter. And they did. Thus, all tracks were covered.

Oh, I forgot to add -- the US would have to also completely infiltrate the Imperial Japanese Navy to fake or modify all the numerous records, including personnel and plans for the attack. The US also possessed the capability of remote mind control, so Admiral Yamamoto was acting as a drone with his plan for the attack.
All of this is completely plausible and in fact likely, right?
Let's take this "theory" one step further and say that it was the US who attacked the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. American forces dressed in Nazi uniform. Great stuff, isn't it?

Whether we knew they were coming or we created the whole thing, it had to happen. We had to get into the European war to stop Hitler. The V3 was an intercontinental missle. If Germany had had the time & resources to develop it without us bombing the hell out of their factories, they would've been firing those things over the Atlantic with nukes on top. We'd all be speaking German right now if not for Pearl Harbor.
