Here are many examples of racoon feet.
I am going with the manged racoon theory.
You be the judge.

its not a raccoon for sure, closely resembles the so called chubacabras that have bee shot or found and documented, then again it could just be a mutated species or a product of cross breeding

Ok kids....this is identical to the Montauk Monster that washed up on shore sometime back. They said it was a racoon but, I believe you have found one without so much rot. Looks like a hibred of some type.

This post annoys the hell out of me. Don't even care to look at the thread since the 'unknown' creature is apparently shot immediately on 'someone's' property. As if that is the natural thing to do.

BAH!

I tend to agree with the raccoon theory.

But, since no one said bandicoot, I'll throw that one in there.

BAH!
In some areas, it is the natural thing to do.

When I was a child, my father would have shot a bald eagle if it showed up near our barn.

Is the snout upturned naturally, or is that just because the animal is kind of laying on its nose?

Its not in any book I have read on rodents. I have read a lot...Maybe you can forward the pic to a local university for classification because they love a good mystery just as much as we do in here.

Is that one of those things in Mexico that attack other animals and drink their blood?

Manbearpig. Well, not really but I don't see any other logical guesses. It looks like a cross between a possum and a pig.
