Fourteen pages and the OP has yet to provide any evidence other than "It looks brighter!" Seems to me like this thread is over and done with.

I agree with most of what has been said asfar as your eyes changing and in addition you may be remembering things a little differently or forgotten some details like time of day you looked at the sun. Remember you are never suposed to look / stare directly at the sun.

Other issues i am noticing, related to this and other issues lately, is that people are less in tune with nature since we are less "outdoorsey" than in the past / past generations so that the slightest thing that would make us go "wow" is now like "OMG".

Even recently there was a thread of some guy taking a camcorder video of the sun as some kind of record but remember the camera records and "sees" the sun differently. In addition never pont your lens at the sun due to potentially damaging the camera.

Ok, so you don't see being knocked back into the 1800s as a cataclysmic event?

Any idea how many people will starve and die? Is that what you think should "solve the problem of over population?"

Why do you think you're miraculously going to be immune from the negative effects of such an event? Amazing, really.

Well, when the bands of marauders, thieves, murderers, and rapists show up at your doorstep, remember that you wished for it.

First, yes I would advise you not to look at the sun.

Secondly, any well respected thread will have a bibliography either as the thread goes along or in a follow up post, giving random viewers some insight into your claims. I for one have not been on the boards recently, so am pretty uninformed on whats happening. You see my concern...

One should never stare at the sun without a special filter. You claim that you stared at the sun for a few minutes and it is a wonder you can still see!

thanks. I'm also trying to stay relevant, and so many things come into view when trying to discuss the topic at hand. I won't argue what's legit to the topic and what's not, but I am trying. This is certainly a harder forum to stay on topic than any other forum I've been on. But I shouldn't shy away from it because it's harder. It's my own challenge. I just wish I were smarter to give a more scientific approach to the cause at hand. Still, there has to be something of worth here, else there's no point in my even trying.

I would also love to post some links to some songs that express my current emotion, but I don't know if that's appropriate to the subject at hand. I'm a pretty emotional person. I guess I'll just listen by myself.

I already said that if it comes and goes, I'll be the first to offer my apologies. Don't hold your breath tho.

I posted a thread not long ago about the sun's brightness. Strange more people are seeing this now.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Another one that blew me away the other day was very early in the morning I was taking my son to school, as we walked out the door I noticed the sun light was different, really bright or something, but just different. As I was thinking this in my head, and just as that thought ended my son blut's out "Daddy, the sun looks weird". Now mind you, I don't talk any conspiracy stuff, or my views around my young one, so I was taken back when he said that. I asked him " What do you mean by that?" His answer was " I don't know daddy, just weird, the color, it looks different". I dropped the probing and off we went to school.

so we're not in an interstellar cloud then?

I have just worked it out!
Prior to about 2000, the ETs on the sun only had incandescent 60watt light bulbs to light up the sun.
They now have 500watt halogen flood lights to do the same job, as they realise that by making the sun hotter, the earth would heat up as well and they could get money out of gullible humans who have been brainwashed to believe that the earth heating up is their own fault.

This explanation is as feasible as any other at there.
LOL.

Do you know how many predictions have "come and gone" just in the last few years? Elenin? YU-55? Dark Knight prophecy? Nibiru 2003? Y2K?

You don't even have any evidence. What makes your prediction so different, other than your obvious ego?

but filmmakers today seem to be making a point to point directly at the sun, whereas in the past it wasn't wise to shoot such a shot. . most filmmakers today tho seem to bring shots of the sun when it's about to set. take that for what you will, but to me, it's not a coincidence.

You need to provide evidence that the interstellar cloud is doing something. Evidence actually points to the notion that if it is doing anything it decreases the brightness of the sun, since the sun is close to a record low in luminosity right now.

not really, honestly. I've given already what I have to offer. like I said, those who are on board are, and the rest who aren't, well there's nothing that can be said to get them on ship as it were.

OP I don't see a need to offer an apology.

There are more that agree than disagree.

If one reads all these pages they can get a better understanding instead of just scanning the OP and jumping in head first.

It shouldn't be such a big deal to discuss in detail our feelings and what we see. Take the feeling, what we see and compile it with credible sources and sites and it does leave one to wonder.

A discussion doesn't have to turn into a fight whereas I saw some calling you names. That just disgusts me when I see grown people being so mean. Emotions are running high with some because..well...maybe they are scared of death and don't believe their energy transforms. I have no idea but...

I have a lot of sources for you to back up your intuition in regards to this subject/thread. I don't mind creating a long list on the thread or messaging you through here to give them to you. There is definitely "evidence" that suggests you are spot on and others are spot on with their "feelings'. Now... whether or not one wants to believe the evidence is up to them.

The OP is new and personally I think he should be cut some slack here on ATS.

I understand the critics POV here on ATS because I have been here for many years. Maybe the thread should have been posted in a different forum.

Other than personal speculation, no links or hard facts this is truly hard to prove, so in conclusion give the OP a break and just welcome he/her to ATS.
