Technically they're suing the MCSO. They're also not suing them for any reason other than they broke the law. As I said the DoJ have been trying to get Arpaio to settle out of court but he has not agreed to any of their offers. So now Arpaio's constituency are going to be the ones to pay as the suit will most likely result in the removal of a large deal of federal funding from the MCSO.

Lets just make sure it is soon so we can move onto prosecuting AG Eric Holder and anyone else who was responsible for the debacle of Fast and Furious. To date, a tiny % of the weapons let to ‘walk’ freely across the border into Mexico by the Justice Department and the BATFE have been recovered and American police officers and citizens have lost their lives at the hands of drug thugs and illegal immigrations shouldering and firing these very weapons.

So lets get to crackin’ folks and see how all this washes out in the courts.

Sheriff Arpaio was already in trouble at home, his district had the highest crime rate in his state, he was facing civil rights suits. That's why he jumped onto the birther bandwagon, so that any legal actions taken against him would look like it was a vendetta from the WH.

He's the worst excuse for law enforcement around. As drastic as his measures have been, they've had no effect on crime, or just the opposite, crime is higher in his district. He neglects doing his job and his ego is over the top.

He thinks the best way to cover up his bad job performance is to attack the president then he can sit back and claim anything that happens to him is from that, and not because he is a miserable excuse of an law enforcement officer.

Funny how my thread showing republicans intolerance for the minorities, gays and women gets shut down but this one is allowed to go on.

He started out OK - - but EGO and Power corrupts. His big screw up is he was given some Leeway and power no other sheriff had - - to see if he could set up a successful program for illegal aliens. Well - we know what he came up with. The power was pulled from him and he did not like that.

Crimes have increased in Maricopa County. Especially crimes Sheriff Joe doesn't care about. Like domestic violence for one.
