Wait a minute…you just said “he’s not corrupt” but in your previous post (that I questioned) you said:

Loll, But UMM, what does the black panthers IN 08 have to do with the corrupt sheriff and our great commander and chief IN 2012.

Which is it?? Is he corrupt or do you just not like his policies??

Why does he continue to be elected if “you and the people don’t like his ways” in Arizona?

From the outside looking in (I live in Texas) he seems like one hell of a Sheriff!

Regardless what WE think about him, Obama and Holder are OBVIOUSLY going after him for the birther issue, no?

Personally, I think Sheriff Joe has class and Integrity. He isn't a politician, unlike most top police administrators. He's been a trench fighting law enforcement agent most of his life and all over the world with it. So... I make this observation.

IF.... Holder and Obama have the goods on him and it's legal enough to pass a court challenge without making one just to waste money in proving the point..I think Joe will accept the monitor or resign. I just don't see him as the man to tilt at windmills and totally destroy the legacy of a lifetime spent doing what he's doing. It isn't worth it, in my view and the friends I talked to in Arizona tonight agreed by their local perspectives.

IF.... Holder and Obama don't have a solid legal case with solid law to back their statements of intent to act and force monitoring at least...and so far they've not felt required to show him anything of the sort...then I think Sheriff Joe will fight this like a berserker. He also has his state Governor on his side and a good % of the nation, given the topic this is 100% about and the result of.

It should be interesting...and if they have a case, they ought to say so soon. It'd prevent even more fighting and more division across a nation that can't afford ANY more of either within it's population, IMO/

Therefore, you won, he is the greatest sheriff in the world and your thread is totally cool. Dont forget that arapio has been accused of laundrying money through shady land deals, the investigation of these deals resulted in arapio kicking in the doors of Phoenix journalists and arresting them...

Do you think it’s a coincidence that Holder is going after Sheriff Joe over allegedly “improperly targeting illegal immigrants” now rather than several years ago? What is the difference between Joe’s actions now and Jan 1, 2009? Could it be the ‘Birther’ investigation?

Joe became Sheriff of Maricopa County in 1992. The voters of Maricopa County re-elected him in 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008. If he’s such a hooligan than why do the voters keep giving him the reigns of the county?

He's a muckraker that wastes the money of the people he is supposed to represent.

Sheriff joe arpaio is largely considered the most corrupt sheriff in the U.S. He is regularly featured in many documentaries on police corruption for the abuse of inmates, and for the inmates who have died under his care. I recall when I lived in arizona that he had his opponent running for sheriff arrested, and then when "the bird", a local newspaper did a write up on his corruption, he had the owners of that paper arrested, and continued harassing them as well.

What I meant is that Jan and Barry are on the same page as far as medicinal is concerned. The feds are cracking down more on that. Brewer attacked AZ's medicinal laws.

I can't go further because this is a subject not condoned by the mods.
