The Living Matrix - The Science of Healing

New insight into our bodies, minds and physical health. This full-length film brings you breakthroughs that will transform your understanding of how to get well and stay well. Leading researchers and health practitioners share their discoveries on the "miracle cures" traditional medicine can't explain.

TRAILER:

So I have stumbled up on a this interesting and thought provoking documentary and I think it is one which all members of ATS should give a chance. So before I begin, if you have only come to this thread in an attempt to dis-prove, debunk or ridicule the doc then please leave now.

Well... what can I say, this film has completely revolutionised the way I think about mental, physical and social health and the very meaning of 'health' itself. In an attempt to bring spiritual methods of healing closer toward mainstream this is by far one of the most compelling self-healing documentaries I have ever seen or heard of.

There are interviews with dedicated scientists, psychologists, bioenergetic researchers and holistic practitioners who are finding healing potential in new places. Leaders in science are examining the body through the lens of quantum physics. They’ve discovered that we're far more than biochemical machines. Instead, our cells are senders and receivers of information, controlling our health in ways we never imagined.

But I know how many of you do not like to delve into an hour long film about something that you know barely anything about. Here's a little snippet of the sypnosis:

In the film, researchers and others who faced health challenges put the science in perspective when they tell their stories. The family of a young Greek boy with cerebral palsy tries to improve his quality of life through reconnective healing. A British woman, diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, immerses herself in neuro-linguistic programming. An American woman runs out of options to treat her chronic fatigue syndrome, and as a last resort, begins using an information-based therapy. All three make remarkable recoveries.

FULL DOC:

Some reviews:

"The Living Matrix is a must-see for anyone interested in opening the mind to the possibilities of healing that allopathic medicine does not address. Its success at early screenings along with a strong buzz creating consumer demand demonstrates the importance of film in bringing influential emerging ideas to mainstream audiences."
Richard Cohn, Publisher

“This movie truly moved me. I watched and cried in gratitude at the knowledge that these (scientific) studies are finally being released to the public. We can now move forward, bring this information to the masses, and change . . the way we look at health and healing from now on. We are all healers, and here is the movie that proves it so.”
Jennifer Mannion

A phenomenal new movie with incredible information that will change the way you think about your body, your mind, and medicine. . . It delivers a powerful statement that every living being has incredible abilities to heal itself . . . with scientific documentation that the field that surrounds us is a reality.
Jewels Johnson, CHT , Host

Congratulations on a well done post, I have not watched the movie, but I will. My Father used to say "90% of all illness is in the mind". In my time as a Nurse, I did not find reason to disagree with his assessment.

What works, is mostly about what you believe will work. I also find a belief in a power greater than your own, helps too.

I hope this documentary isn't like "What the Bleep Do We Know?" because that "documentary" also had many scientists and doctors speaking, but their words were twisted into something they never intended to support. They were taken out of context. I do believe that our thoughts can affect us in good and bad ways, I just want to caution that some of these films (although very interesting) don't always present the truth the way they should. I would also like to know who all these "doctors" are, and what they have accomplished during their careers. It's so easy to fall for the "MD" after their name is listed, but fact is there are a lot of crazy quacks out there.

Before you criticize their credentials and make a bias post, why don't you do a little research first?

Here's a list of film participants and interviewee's, you can find their credentials and info there

Thank You!! That video made perfect sense. I have had some very bad back injuries, failed surgery last time and was bed ridden for the most part. It wasn't till I decided I did not want to go through life in pain and waste away did I start exercising and pushing my body to do what I wanted it to, did my back stop hurting so bad everyday. I went from bench pressing 85 pounds during the workout to 185 pounds in 3 months.

Its all in what you think and who you surround yourself with. Sitting on ATS all day would definitely be a bad thing.

I just finished watching the movie and I will be sharing this where ever I can. I love it when science works hand in hand with all ideas for the benefit of all, gave me chills!

"Genes are NOT controlling our biology"

Adopted children will take on and mimic the family history of cancer

There's only one word for this film...............education

Now this is what a human revolution looks like, it's been a long time coming, I'm so happy you posted this op I now know how I can help more.

Much love to you today and always and thanks again

While ever you have far 2manyquestions and no belief/faith then it will benefit you not at all.
As you wish.
Would you really want to be responsible for missing out just because you didn't bother to watch?
What are you doing here really?

Sounds similar to Bruce Liptons's theories. I used to watch his lectures. He basically said that we control our genes entirely...

Will watch it later.

Yeah Bruce Lipton is interviewed in the film and has some really fascinating information!

I had never heard about Bruce before this film, but I'm beginning to sift through his work as we speak

I'm glad you watched and enjoyed it! I remember the first time I watched it, (watched several times since then), I was almost shocked I hadn't heard some of the information before - truly one of the most revolutionary docs about health and healing.

Positive thinking goes a hell of a long way and I know this from personal experience!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have always felt this way and after watching - I feel so excited that we are finally facing up to a new approach in healing - and that's coming from someone who's son is a Doctor. I'm amazed this hasn't gone global but then how many people will actually sit down and watch a one hour Documentary - they don't know what they're missing.

S&F - and Thanks Again! - So good to get good news at last.

Thanks a lot for posting this. I watched it yesterday like 2 minutes after you posted it, and what a phenomenal documentary; it's always neat to see science (physics evolving into quantum mechanics) and the modern world catching up to what we call spirituality. But it's all familiar, that's the really fun part.

Mind over matter.

Thanks again.

I have to agree that self healing is possible as I am a result of it. I didn't watch film but from the posts I get the idea. thirteen years ago or so I slipped a disc in my back it was the most painful thing it was between the number five and six vertebrae which was pinching the radius nerve, everyone I spoke to with injuries who had surgery said to me whatever happens don't let them cut you, meaning surgery. If you let them cut you, you will need repeated surgery for the rest of your life. I went to a chiropractor who gave me an xray and showed me the slipped disc, tried chiropractor a couple of times, it helped a little and it tried acupuncture which helped a little. But not having health insurance left me with no options, so I just had to deal with the pain and hope my body would recover. It took seven years for the pain to go away completely and for the numbness in my arm to go away, but it did, and I have been pain free for the last six years, so yes it is possible to heal from something that your not supposed to heal from. I am living proof of it.

I appreciate you posting the video. I'll take a look at it.

I have an incurable and progressive systemic disease. Autoimmune. Sjogrens. Complete with polyneuropathy and system involvement. I also have untreatable glaucoma. (as well as osteoperosis, bursitis, degenerative disc disease, and kidney stones)

I'm going to go ahead and post my pre-viewing comments and then after I view it I'll come back and say what I think. Lets see if the movie can change my mind. Honestly .. I have a family member who says things like 'you just think you are sick' and it ticks me off. The diseases are very real and I never 'thought myself sick'.

The film is about an hour and a half. I'll watch it and let you know what I think. I'm also going to post the film over at my online support group and see what they think about it. I'll let you know.

Again .. thanks for posting it. I'll look into just about any possibilities for relief and miracle cures.

Disease seems to occur for specific reasons. Maybe it's something you're meant to overcome or at least experience, maybe it's a projection of your subconscious, maybe it's the influences and people in your life, perhaps all of the above and more.

I'm recovering from two herniated discs (between s1-l5 and l5-l4), and severe back pain has been a recurring problem that's been getting worse (DDD also). But all it is is a giant kick me sign telling me to go in a certain direction in my life - the direction I want to go. Every time it would act up, some kind of change would occur, usually for the better, and seems to be pushing me towards my ultimate goal - but that change comes with the price of severe pain. It's like I subconsciously do this to myself because I'm fed up with not moving forward. What better way than to feel "pain" (or love) to make someone change. And I'm grateful for every bit of it because of the outcomes and experiences.
Kind of like one of the people in that video, the one with the brain tumour.

Alright ... tried to watch it and the computer got messed up ... tried again and couldn't do it. I'll see if I'm feeling well enough this afternoon to go to the library and use their computer. I really want to try to view this ....
