We're not against gay people, we are against them having sex with people of the same sex because it is an aberration and abomination in the eyes of God. Gay people can become saved and even christian if they put those sins away and do them no more. It is better to be celibate than give into sinful desires. Christianity is about resisting those temptations and fighting them off, as opposed to the rest of the world giving into their baser desires.

I actually believe you're blind to what I read. I'm not Christian, for one. And secondly, I never once stated that we should stone them. All I have done was quote verses from the Bible. It is -you- who's currently under the watchful eye of Satan for missing such blatant points.

Anyway, lonewolf pretty much summed it up. For the homosexual Christians, or for any other person that is under a religion that forbids homosexuality, they must resist that carnal desire. Pretty much it.

Sidenote: It's not just Christianity that's about resisting sinful temptations and desires. I'm sure, for the majority of religions, especially the Abrahamic religions, their basis is set upon the act of resisting one's temptation.

LOL. In my agnostic years i came close to getting myself killed because i had sex with another man's wife and he walked in like 10 minutes later. Then i had to turn around and think up a quick believeable lie that i was there for his daughter. Swore i'd never do that again and i never did, i was 23 at the time, both young and incredibly stupid. Take it from me having a shotgun in your face is not comfortable, knowing that any second your head could be transmuted into a canoe. I came close to becomming religious that day.

I know it, but you know the saying hindsight is 20/20. I was absolutely livid to the point i had turned from my natural tan to pasty white, like the blood completely drained out of me. Looking back it was like literally looking down the barrel of the wrath of God, you have no idea what the word "nervous" means until you've experienced that kind of terror. That day actually cured me of being an idiot for women and i learned to start looking for those ring finger marks for women looking to cheat.

well i have only skimmed this thread but since the Sodom account is a Bible question I'll take a stab at it

sacred to GOD is a principle called hospitality, which has more far reaching responsibilities than we currently understand from the modern usage of this word

it meant that preying on strangers was a crime against GOD

the Sodomites instead of extending the required hospitality which involved obligations such as medical care, food, housing ,money and much more ,had been turned on it's head in Sodom
undoubtedly some of them were gay but that was the least of their problems
they routinely killed robbed and tortured, sojourners to their territory , probably to sacrifice them to their Gods,they were like the people in The Hills Have Eyes ,murderous insanely perverted maniacs
everyone in Sodom except Lot and his family were tainted with whatever evil genetics or however you want to couch it, and there was no redemption or fix for their issues

Part of that extermination was because canaanite blood was tainted with fallen angel DNA, the canaanites kept breeding races of nephilim monster hybrids because Og, a nephilim survived the flood (according to the book of Jasher) which is where the word "Ogre" comes from. They were unnatrual beings that were anywhere from 13 to 20 feet tall and when crops no longer sustained them they began feeding on humans and drinking our blood which is part of why jews are not allowed to eat pork, because pork is indistinguishable from human flesh. The Rephaim warred with everyone and when their enemies were all dead they made war on eachother. They only knew killing and murdering and it was all they lived for. I am not an expert on the New Testament, but was not the rich man sent to hell because he was selfish and greedy, not because of any homosexuality?
