And my God is Humanity...It's real and everyone on earth can relate to it, Humanity is wonderful we even invent other Gods to try and explain why we are here.

If Humanity had a hell and heaven the Hell would be Man made Religion and the heaven would be our free will..!!!!

Seriously though, can't we all just get along? Whatever god or belief system you prescribe to made everybody else too. So maybe we could all stop bickering over who's god has the bigger wang (or whatever ), and focus on something important, instead of arguing about things we can't confirm.

But the Bible says nothing about Sodom being destroyed over homosexuality or atheism, premarital sex, or most of what you said. Ezekiel 16:49 states that Sodom was destroyed because of callousness toward the poor. The verse is plan.

Come to think of it, if there is a judgement on America it might well be for the same thing, namely our callousness toward the poor predominantly displayed by Republican politicians?

I have homosexual friends who I lend help to quite often....and I openly support homosexual Christians trying to make it without being judged.....

That post wasn't directed at anyone in particular, more of a generalization. Except for the edit I made, I agree with you on the humanity thing, though I do believe in a higher power, don't have a particular label for it though.

As in all religon seek within and you will find. Listening to spiritual advice from somebody that is caught up in duality (I am right (and my group) and all other groups are wrong) is counterproductive. I find nuggets of wisedom in all religon and people wake up and connect to something from all over the world and all religons (even ateists). So it seems that whatever the higher power is do not care what path you take to it as long as you arrive. Since I am still figuring out my own path I should not tell others how to evolve.

True symbiotic love is always right not matter what any book/preacher say. Logic tells it and we where given a brain for some reason to be able to figure out right and wrong. (Symbiotic behavior and ego parasitic behaviour from my point of view)

I belive Sodom was destroyed due to ego parasitic behaviour.

The test is probably if you do what is right or what you are told is right, even if logic say the scripture(what you are told) is wrong. I will not be one with bullies not matter what bullies here say is right. The bullies have to change their behaviour and when they have learned the lesson then I do not care what they have done before.

Homosexuality is a sin just like every other sin. It should be avoided at all cost, but we are all susceptible to it.

We are to ask forgiveness for these sins and repent of them....I currently have a girl at my house who is both a lesbian and an atheist, and I love her and talk to her about God, same with my other friends who I try to help and have an influence on.

Homosexuality was one of MANY, as I said, atrocities committed in Sodom. By atrocities I mean rampant, uncontrolled sin and evil.

Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

According to the Bible, homosexuality is unnatural and detestable.

Sodom's sexuality was exploitation, both hetero and homosexual it did not matter. They were probably like the fanatics of the Catholic Church and the Islamic world (along with Protestant and Orthodox Jewish extremist sects), deeply anti-gay but also deeply enmeshed in homosexual exploitation. I doubt that Sodom was gay in the sense that we understand the term today.

Homosexuality within the bible is clearly defined as a sexual immorality. There are many more versions of sexual perversion than just that. Sexual immorality is not confined soley to homosexuality. Here's a rundown of sexual immoralities just in case you want to know the details.

1. homosexuality
2. sodomy (no matter if done by heteros or homos)
3.oral sex
4. prostitution
5. adultery
6.orgies
7. wife swapping (or swinging)
8.masturbation
9. doggy
10 Beastiality


Literally anything that was done for the purpose of sexual self gratification instead of the sole purpose to procreate and multiply.

So you can see, literally everyone on the planet suffers from one form of sexual immorality or another. More in today's world than ever before in history.

The Nicolaitians practiced literally every one of those and Jesus hates the Nicolaitians, so perhaps that should give you some clue as to where you fit on his list.

We are both atheists, then. I just believe in one less god than you do. And as soon as you can explain why you dismiss the thousands of other gods people choose to worship (and have chosen to worship throughout time), you'll understand why I dismiss yours.

That may be so, but regardless, Christianity as a religion is undoubtedly against Homosexuality. All 3 Abrahamic religions are, as a matter of fact.
