Bats is a ridiculous explanation to be perfectly honest so I agree with you there. But it looks like planes or helo's imo. Due to the lame explanation it must mean it's military hardware "drones" or planes or helo's. They are poor liars. They are probably spying for the police state's agendas.

Also people who say "well i seen UFO's in that area, people seen UFO's in that area so it must be UFO's" where is the logic in this? That's just reaching.

Having been to Vegas numerous times as a best friend from high school lives there, I can say its bats. I have been at the base of the Luxor outside to see this. My friend who lives there gets a good laugh when ever tourists start in with the UFO stuff about them.

We can't discredit what we don't know.

But .....good post man! We need to see all the possibilities that are plausible. LED balloons is one that is definitely possible.

Here are a few reason why I personally think it's something other than bats and balloons.

- Around the 1:00 mark a low flying plane goes by...... some of the UFOs in question are way more illuminated and bigger than the plane.

- At certain points in the video .... 3 of the UFO's appear to hold the position of an Equilateral Triangle for more than a few seconds...until one of the lights disappears. I have never seen birds or especially bats hold in steady positions for more than a second. Now... of course any 3 objects form a triangle .... but these hold formation and don't budge.... and as I said...it appears to be an equilateral triangle at certain points.

- I'm sure this will be taken with a grain of salt but..... I have seen on more than one occasion UFOs in the daytime doing very similar movements. It's as if they were putting on a show for someone and when they finished dancing in the sky together..... they disappeared.

Also...at no point have I said that bats were not there. I fully believe that bats were feeding on insects at he Luxor that night. I just don't believe for one second that the person filming at that distance would be able to pick up insects and bats ..... maybe if he stood at the base of the Luxor and looked straight up...

Oh yeah I like my posts at youtube:

possible electrostatic energy in the sky coming from Teslaship

and best of all I could not have said it better:

Q: Why isn't this like any other lights in the sky. A: Tesla invented the mechanical waves to put the vehicle in the sky to make boobs of us all by the .01%, thats why.

Like I said on the previous page, I saw this for myself, and I thought they were definitely bats or birds. A local told me that during certain times of the year it wasn't uncommon for bats and birds to be seen swarming around that light on occasion. Not all the time, but often, especially when it's warmer.

I also linked four different articles that discussed this "bat and/or bird eating frenzy" in the Luxor's bright beam.

So you can shake your head all you want and call the bat explanation 'ridiculous', but I and the writers of those four different articles about it would disagree.

Here are those links again:

Here is a mention of the bats in the Luxor's light on a travel review site.

Timeout.com - Luxor review

excerpt:

At night, a high-intensity light shoots skywards from the top; visible in space, it's also a beacon to a swarm of insects and bats during warmer months.

This next article says that along with the bats, there are also birds that are attracted to that light in search of a buggy snack. So I'm not sure whether the OP's video (and what I saw myself) are bats or birds.

Article: Now appearing in the Vegas spotlight: Bats and bugs

excerpt:

The bats -- probably Brazilian free-tailed bats, with wingspans up to 10 inches, and smaller Western pipistrelles -- have discovered the bane of any homeowner with a bright patio light.

And boy, does the Luxor have a light -- the most powerful in the world, the Luxor boasts, bright enough to be seen on a clear night up to 250 miles away from an airplane at cruising altitude. So imagine how many bugs -- mostly moths and beetles -- are drawn to it.

Birds, including nighthawks, also belly up to the light beam buffet. But the bats are the headliners.

Here is a website about buildings that makes a mention of the bats, the bugs, and the light beam

Eproris.com - Luxor Pyramid

excerpt:

A "sky beam" - reportedly the most powerful light in the world - shoots up from the pyramid's peak at night. It can be seen from an airplane on a clear night from 250 miles away, and it attracts a flurry of bats who feed on the insects drawn to it.

And another one about las Vegas tourism:

Into Las Vegas.com - Luxor Hotel

excerpt:

This special elevator rises at a 39-degree angle, with an ultra-bright light, high above the pyramid offering beautiful nocturnal sights on some nights, such as bats and birds flying across the illuminating light.

Heh.... jokes on you I think.

Deny ignorance??? You link a still time lapsed image? A MSM article with no video links? And a random persons comment?

You wouldn't know a cover up if it was staring at you in the face.

Check out this local video from a girl who smells a cover up.

Here's her description of the video.

A week ago, 3/21/2012, hundreds of orbs were seen hovering around the Luxor beam in a cluster, moving in and out of different formations and glowing like fireflies. Some people dismissed this sighting as an annual feeding season for bats or that they were birds, but what was seen that night resembled in no way, shape, or form bats or birds and were far too large and bright to be either. I have lived in Las Vegas my whole life and have never seen anything even slightly similar to what I witnessed last week. If they were bats or birds, they would be out there nightly and this video is a follow up to the videos taken on 3/21/2012 & 3/22/2012.

Well, what I saw looked exactly like the OP's video, and they were definitely bats or birds. When I got closer to the Luxor, I could just make out the flapping wings, although I could not see the flapping from farther away.

Everything I read (and what I was told by the person who identified himself as a Las Vegas area resident) about this bat/bird swarm circling in the Luxor's light tells me it is NOT an every night occurrence, and is more common in the warmer months. So the person in your video above may have caught it on a night when the bats and birds weren't swarming.

Really? The bats appearance may also depend on the temperature, if its to cold the insects wont be out. I swear some of you guys want to see stuff SO bad. Not everything is a cover up or a conspiracy.

Again, I saw this myself once when in Vegas, its bats.

The only people looking and filming are possible agents, like who gets money
for this stuff.

The secret to the lights is the air bouncing off the hull illuminates as if we didn't know and K Capture is sending out neutrinos as well so its a big fat anti Tesla cartel agent secret of the .01%, happy now.

That has to bring out rats.

i will believe it is bats
when you show the sort of bats who like to hang around in formations
rotating in triangles which then move back and forth, holding formation
also the sort of bats who can teleport
since a few of those whatevers just appear out of nowhere
also the sort that can hover?

i want to meet hese superbats. they have much to teach us.

Hi ATS,

I was wondering if people felt there have been more sightings lately? Or is this pretty normal to see the amount of videos we are seeing now?

They dont just appear out of no where, at some angles they reflect the light and at others they dont. And yes, bats can hover. There are so many that it just gives the appearance of formations..

Honestly, in a city that big, with that many people on the streets do you really think a REAL UFO would go unnoticed? If something fishy was going on dont you think more people would see and say something? Again some people want to see things so desperately that they will believe anything.

Oh ....and UFO's obviously go unnoticed all the time.... I've experienced this social paradox several times. People will actually refuse too look at a UFO.

Again.... some people want to live only in their paradigm for their entire life, they will believe nothing except what fits in their paradigm.

...or just bats and birds feeding off insects in the 315,000 watt light beam from the Luxor, as described by locals and even advertised in their promotional materials.

Tesla ships? I think you've had one too many Romulan ales at the Star Trek exhibit at the Hilton.

I'm not sure what this person is describing, or if this person is even accurately and objectively describing what they saw, but the OP's video (which is what is in question here) did NOT hve hovering objects or objects in "formation" ("formation", again, could be an subjective word)

Again.... some people want to live only in their paradigm for their entire life, they will believe nothing except what fits in their paradigm.

The same could be said about people who feel every sighting is a UFO. For some odd reason they fight tooth and nail trying to reject the mundane explanations, as if a mundane explanation for a sighting is a personal affront to themselves.

dplum --
Just because I am pointing out a mundane explanation for the OP video (and the fact that birds and bats swarming around this light is w KNOWN phenomenon, as seen by my own eyes, as mentioned as not-uncommon occurrence by locals, and as shown in multiple independent web links describing this bird/bat feeding frenzy)...

...just because I'm pointing out that THIS case may have a mundane explanation is not a personal insult to you. You said a few pages back that you had your own sighting experience. Well, that's fine. I know nothing about that sighting, so I have no reason to personally doubt you saw something, and I'll defer to you that you think you saw something unexplainable.

However, just because I think these are bats or birds does not mean I think that there are no such thing as UFOs that may have no mundane explanation. One has nothing to do with the other.

*Sigh*

Talking out my back end? Ive seen this phenomenon myself when I was in Vegas.

I give up. There is no common sense on this sight anymore.

Seems some people are so desperate to "believe", that they cannot accept the truth. I mean, seriously, what makes more sense? Bats and birds feeding off the insects drawn to the 315,000 watt light? Or dozens of "orbs" flying in the light?

When local media have covered it, and it is even mentioned in travel brochures as an item to watch, it shouled be clear. It doesn't advertise "Come see the alien orbs above the Luxor hotel drawn to the light"

Always with your smart ass replies, why cant you just watch (keyword there.. actually watch) the video and keep an open mind?
You are so quick to debunk anything people post on here.
If you watched the video you would obviously see that those are not chinese lanterns.
