What am I debunking here? Can't really "debunk" something so obvious now can I. And what other possibilities am I so ignorant of if I may ask? Sorry, but I've seen a UFO close enough to throw a rock at it, these are not UFO's, get over it.

the bat explanation makes sense. insects are attracted to the light, the bats are attracted to the insects.

This is almost an everynight occuring event here in the desert (pending season), if you live near bright lights. There is a dairy farm about 200 yards away from my house and i will see if i can capture this on video to duplicate.

If it's a government project we don't know of, then it's still a UFO because it is an UNIDENTIFIED flying object. The problem here is that most people balk up and internally scream when they hear the term "UFO." They instantly think "nut job"! That is actually very illogical. You are falling victim to conditioning by the establishment.

Anyway, regarding the video itself, I myself have witnessed something very similar and do not believe these are bats. Of course, nobody will believe me, but for whatever it's worth, I have seen this occurrence numerous times already and the things I've seen were definitely not bats. It's okay to not believe though. Stay in your closets and close your eyes.

So what are all the believers explanations/theories as to why they are only seen while directly over the beam of light?

Bats are not the only flying animals that chase bugs under the light as well. Nightwaks and Swallows do it as well. So theres an explanation for the steady movements and not erratic. Another thing too is that the movement will seem less erratic at greater distances no?

A query to the management of the Luxor might be cool.
Perhaps they are letting helium balloons loose up there.

Looking at the second video it is pretty obvious the objects are not self luminescent, but are reflecting the light beam from the Luxor. I don't know if they are bat's but there are a hell of a lot of them. I don't see them flap wings, I don't have that good an eye I guess, but they look organic, birds, bats, big moths, anything.

clearly its bats attracted to the insects that are drawn to the beam of light shooting up into the sky from the building. They are only illuminated when inside the beam or in close proximity of the light. They are going in a circle pattern to stay near the insects in the light source.
What we are seeing is the light refracting on the underside of the bats body. If it was aliens why do they choose only to illuminate when near or inside the light? Common sense if you ask me.

OK, Bats have hair on their body, and like most mammals they secrete oil. It helps maintain the hair and stay dry when it rains. Greasy hair, even black hair, will shine in a bright light.....do an experiment....don't wash your hair for a week and then have somebody take a picture with flash at night and you will see what I mean.

Also, for those who don't know light tends to bend or stray when it comes out of an opening, and in this case it is a hell of a lot of light. You might see the beam pretty well, but this doesn't mean there is more light going up and expanding that isn't as bright as the beam but still enough to reflect of shiny coats of bat fur when they are not directly in the beam.

Also about the size of the objects, I see a camera with a very hard time to focus (like all autofocus cameras I know, at night), so judging size by the video is not an option I think.

Mate, you posted 2 minutes after the thread was created. There is no way you could have watched the whole video! It would allmost appear like you just jump in and comment on any ufo video you come across.

Not really....

The person who made the video said, "That's the [Snip] I see on YouTube."

It resembles the Chinese lantern videos on YouTube somewhat, even if that isn't what it was in this case. I think that gives some insight into the person who filmed it.

Of course, for some reason the Mods disagree as they made my post off-topic.

I'm leaning toward orbs of some sort with bats still a possibility,but not likely.

You are correct, and I noticed as well that the seemed almost like patterns? I was hoping someone with the expertise would offer to analyze what the shapes or formations are depicting.....

At first i was hooked in but then I blew it up on 1080 hd and could see the beam of light and the bats flying and out. Kind of sounds like this guy might of had a few to drink as well..i mean it is vegas after all.
