But when do they get cancer? In their 40s, 50s ect. I'm not saying microwaves contribute to cancer, wouldn't surprise me though, but its the cumulative effect that is the problem with a lot of pollutants.

There are enough carcinogens that you ingest on a daily basis that saying microwaves are the single cause is silly. People can throw out their microwaves all they'd like, carcinogens are in the air they breath and the water they drink. We all die somehow, I say that if you enjoy microwaved foods -- eat it. If the microwave doesn't get you, something else inevitably will.

And where did I say it was the single cause. I said it's the cumulative effect of pollutants that is the problem, which you disregarded. I even said "I'm not saying microwaves contribute to cancer".

You can misread what I said if you want, but it's still right.

Never did I say you said such a thing, I said to say such a thing (as there are individuals who have posted on this thread and made that claim) are being silly. You can misinterpret a post all you'd like, I'm still right.

Perhaps you should try quoting a post where someone actually says that rather than replying to a post with content that has nothing to do with what they said.

Toaster ovens are a good way to go if looking for an alternative. Got one a couple months ago and it's pretty handy.

Water can reach incredible temperatures in a microwave and not appear to be boiling. SUPERHEATING is very causes severe burns every day. The info here. Kinda relates to the topic and might save someone from getting burned. There are videos elsewhere, don't try this at home.
