And again, you show your ignorance of the details. Trayvon Martin was on top of Zimmerman. He was not pinned down. But I have to ask.... since you assumed Trayvon was "pinned down" are you really suggesting that it would be ok for ZImmerman to chase this kid down, pin him down, then shoot him?

Martins sprinting prowess is irrelevant. Zimmerman had been told not to chase him and should not have done so anyway. AND then he confronted Martin for the crime of WALKING DOWN THE STREET. We got a scared kid who has been chased and when things go wrong it is MARTINS fault??? Yah right, get some help.

Would Zimmerman have been attacked if he had simply listened to the 911 dispatcher who told him NOT to follow Trayvon?

Is it possible that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman because he was being followed by a Stranger and felt threatened?

Maybe the kid was a punk? Maybe he did maliciously try to hurt Zimmerman. Maybe he didn't want to get caught doing something. Im saying Zimmerman is innocent until proven guilty and all you are doing is pointing fingers. I myself have been wrongly accused and tried for crimes I didn't commit. So why would I do the same to a man that could or could not have committed the crime. If he is tried guilty in the court of law the same I will come to you myself with an apology. Until then my opinion is just as valid as yours.

Zimmerman is not "defending his ground" when he is the person advancing.

This is a very simple concept and it is the fundamental basis of ALL self defense cases. Zimmerman stopped "defending his ground" the second he chased and/or followed Martin.

Well we cant find that out now can we? Since Martin, a 17 yr old kid, is dead and unable to defend himself.

Isnt this a regular occurence in America? I mean ive heard of atleast 50 "unarmed" african americans who have been shot in the past 10-15 years... and thats only the ones who make it in the media...

I guess he was too young to plant a gun on?? Or did he screw up his "drug mule" job for the american government drug dealers?? Well never really know, but hey, while i wrote this, 12 kids just died in other countries... And 2 of them were killed by US air drones...

I have also been tried for crimes I never committed.

I am not saying Zimmerman is guilty. I have not called him a Murderer. What I am saying is the facts do not support a self defense case. If this was me, I would be in jail right this second while the details are being sorted out. That is not happening here. The local Law Enforcement immediately called it self defense. The investigation is now being done by the Feds.

You can not claim self defense when you initiate the confrontation.

AGAIN....maybe Trayvon felt he was standing his ground...he did live in the neighborhood (his Fathers girlfriends house) some idiot was chasing him for no reason...m,aybe Trayvon had the reason to stand his ground and defend himself...he was unarmed and the idiot neighborhood watch wannabe was armed...was following him on foot and in a car...assumed he was on drugs because he was wearing a hoodie in the rain...this case stinks so bad that there is no way to justify deadly force much less stopping him....even the police would be hardpressed for a reason to stop and question him.

Its not against the law to not listen to a police officer. They said that for zimmermans safety. And he gave up his rights to his safety. If the kid hid in a bush then attacked the kid would have been charged with assault and battery in the first place. You can instigate someone to hit you first and they take the blame. The kid struck first and mounted Zimmerman. That would initiate self defense. He broke NO laws leading up to it.
