They need to do voice recognition to the Recording to see who was yelling what. That would put the who is the aggressor to rest. The mexican guy has bloody nose and the back of his head was bloody. A pair of wounds common of being punched in the face and falling down backwards on the concrete hitting your head. The kid should have called the cops on the phone,but did not if he was afraid. Obviously the kid did not really think him a threat if he did not call them. Now as to someone carrying a gun being a coward. If you carry a gun you should be willing to use it. Just because you get punched and all they have are their hands there is no such thing as a fair fight. Its the reason most people do not fight now a days because the possibility of the person you fight being armed. If they hit you first and you fear for your life you are within your rights to aerate them to get them to stop. If you are man enough to fight you are man enough to take a bullet if you started it with actual contact.I dislike fools who think there are no consequences to their actions. If the boy hit him first,its unfortunate but he was within his legal right and nothing will be done about it. I suggest witness protection or mexico for mr Zimmerman afterward.

I don't know enough about the whole situation to say for sure, but one idea floating around is that the neighborhood watchmen was jumped and beaten. *if* that was the case then him yelling help would seem plausible. After the shot would there be a need to keep yelling help? I am not saying it wasn't the 17 year old kid. Not trying to be rude or anything, just asking.

I suppose due process is fair before we all truly jump to conclusions, but off first glimpse of whats around us Im extremely pissed at this guy...Maybe im getting caught up in media propaganda, but if its that kid screaming on the video its hard to argue otherwise.... This story is a big clusterf*ck right now....Too much emotion and anger involved in it...

Won't matter the truth at all - the agitator-in-chief, Rev Al and ole Lewy Fharacommie have started winding up the troops. There will be riots in the streets if Zimmerman walks.

Personally, I think based on what I know Zimmerman created the situation by tailing the kid in the first place. had he not done that the whole thing would have not happened. I think that is the way the grand jury will view it,

I don't know about FL law but here in MO we have the same no-retreat/castle clauses and it's fairly clear that you have the right to use lethal force to protect yourself or another unless you initiate the chain of events that lead to it.

You can't be the instigator then claim self defense when you are getting your ass kicked.

That was that poor child screaming in the background of that tape!! The other guy was told by 911 not to follow! The poor child was buying candy and a drink! How the hell do you kill someone that is un-armed!! I know the court systems are screwed up! I hope this child gets JUSTICE!! Our President did a GREAT JOB talking about that poor child!

The FACT that the OP seems to conveniently leave out is that the shooter is NOT a cop, he did NOT witness a crime and yet he chased down and followed a 17 year old kid who ran from him because he just HAD to know what this kid was doing in his neighborhood.

actually....i'm changing my opinion on the case with these new developments. zimmerman suspected the kid was on drugs, and it seems trayvon is a dealer. the point about the 9/11 dispatcher telling him not to follow is also valid.

i saw an interview from one of the locals, and he credits zimmerman for stopping his house from being robbed. robberies have been a problem for them lately, and i can understand zimmerman's frustration saying "damn assholes always get away with it".

couple this with the bruises and grass stains, and the injuries on trayvon's hands, and we have provocation for self defense.

If America didn't allow guns to be here there and everywhere, none of this would have happened, and the truth would probably be more clearly evident. Although I currently don't have time to examine websites and "It must be true!" YouTube Video's, as an outsider in the UK looking in, America suffers from a serious endemic of racism. For heavens sake you even have the KKK, why are they even still allowed to exist in your country???

I say this because I live in the UK, where people do not use guns openly and freely, they solve their differences with their tongues - or fists, but not a bullet. When it comes to fighting, law enforcement here at least have time to intervene, and find out exactly what is going on before someone is dead.

Also the chances of either party being alive would have been far greater, if guns were not so freely sanctioned, and for what? the death of another human being, where it gives the person the right to say what they like about a person they could have easily killed in cold blood, when the victim is dead, and cannot give their own side of the story.
