When I was fourteen years old I was visited by Lucifer. I perceived his presence with my spiritual eyes though my eyes were open and I was completely awake and aware. He was sitting on his throne that was made up of an uncountable number of people all worshiping at his feet. When he spoke all the people at his feet spoke with him. It was as if they were all one voice. Lucifer's voice rained supreme. His first words were for me to worship him. He claimed he was GOD. I knew instantly who he was and refused. I began to pray. I was so afraid. While I prayed the voice kept taunting me. If I loved God I would allow them to kill me. I of course agreed that death would be welcomed compared to worshiping at his feet. No sooner after I accepted my fate I could feel them spitting and insulting me saying God would never allow them to kill me. I kept praying then all of a sudden I was filled with this white all encompassing energy/light and they were gone. This is only one experience I have had with Lucifer or his minions. I am sure I am not the only person with these experiences. I agree with most of what you wrote. We all have the flesh to contend with as well as Lucifer who is very real!

Before all of you jump down my throat, let me explain. I'm going to take four examples from modern Christianity, and explain the metaphors. Satan and Lucifer are, to me, interchangeable ,so the names will change...but I'll be talking about the same entity regardless.

First, we have Lucifer threatening to rise above God, so he gets cast down. Then we see him tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden. Also, we have Jesus battling him for 40 days out in the middle of nowhere. And we are told that Lucifer has power over this realm.

Alright. I'll start by saying Lucifer is nothing more than "desires of the flesh." Desires of the flesh threatened to take over the higher consciousness (God) so it was cast down. Desires of the flesh tempted Eve, and so she was corrupt. Thus, Adam and Eve were directed away from the garden.

Jesus (as difficult as it may be to accept this) struggled with the desires of his flesh for 40 days before he finally mastered them. Perhaps he was conquering personal demons, perhaps it was something else. But his flesh battled him those 40 days...hence, the appearance of "Satan".

Lucifer has power over this world? Desires of the flesh. Every single person alive lives, works and dies for the desires of the flesh. It is all we know now.

Lucifer was never a physical being, but a concept. A trait. Our trait.

Every one of our flaws comes from the desires of our flesh...otherwise known as Satan. Not a demon. Just us.

Humans are real beings, they are spiritual beings.

In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

Animals are spiritual beings.
Isaiah 43:20
-The wild animals will thank me. The large animals and birds will honor me when I put water in the desert and make rivers flow through that dry land. I will do this to give water to my chosen people.

The winds and the waves are spiritual beings.

Matthew 8:26-27
Jesus answered, “Why are you afraid? You don’t have enough faith.” Then he stood up and gave a command to the wind and the water. The wind stopped, and the lake became very calm.
The men were amazed. They said, “What kind of man is this? Even the wind and the water obey him!”


Neither Satan nor you nor I nor Jesus nor winds and waves are one and the same spiritual beings, we each are our own spiritual being and have effects on one another spiritually, for God is a spiritual creator and can destroy both body and soul in hell. Jesus said, : Matthew 10:28
"Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

The soul will either live eternally or be destroyed, the Bible says those who have trusted the promises of God are going to be given a new body - one that will never die. We, as spiritual beings, serve a purpose, have impact and influence on one another. This is why Jesus said: "Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me. -Luke 11:23
The winds and the waves are under the authority of Jesus, Jesus commanded the wind and the water to stop what it was doing and it listened and obeyed!
What you call the "desires of our flesh" are the same desires of the mind and the subconscious/spirit/heart. In other words, we ultimately do (outwardly)what we(inwardly) desire to do. As a man thinketh in his hearth, so is he.

I fully take responsiblitiy for my own actions and decisions. I do not blame my own short comings on anyone but myself, but there are other entities out there and quite a few are really really very unpleasant...I remain sober at all times to ensure they can not try for a hi-jack or "walk in".

I find all the world's atrocities an issue of ego. Ego is the illusion of desire, the illusion of duality. What do those things lead to? Greed, intolerance, fear, prejudice, ignorance, envy, and of course selfishness and several other aspects of the psyche. If all these things were wiped clear of our minds, what would be left? Compassion, temperance, wisdom, selflessness... would there be atrocities with that kind of mindset?

The heavenly realms are completely devoid of such negativity ("Evil"), which is why we come to this realm to experience what it's like to be "human". If the heavens are a kingdom, then walking out of the gates and into the wilderness is Earth and the universe that we're currently in. So, we are in the wilderness where anything goes, as a trial, as an experience, working off karma, whatever the case may be. One of a multitude of reasons is for contrast because pain and suffering exist here. Think of parents that try to teach their children the value of a hard-earned dollar so that they don't go spending on bull#, even when the family is fairly prosperous.

So in fact you are suggesting that all other religions (also the older ones) besides christianity are from the devil because they don't accept, or talk about JC as messiahs...

In other religions the "good vs bad" thing is also very well explained. In christianity it is like "JC died for my sins and if I sinned the devil made me do it, so I'm still without sin" and I don;t like that idea very much, sounds very immature and irresponsible to me. In most of the other religions it is your own fault and responsibility, and it can be forgiven but this is also your own responsibility how you deal with it in the future.

Well thats religions, they are made up belief systems meant to control for the most part.

What about good vs evil in karma? It's more neutral cause-and-effect.

I don't really know, it sounds logic to me that if you thread a person bad he or she will react negative I call that just logic.
