The top half is a still from the DAC film as they left the moon so was taken almost 40 years ago, the bottom half was taken by the LRO both match.
That DAC film has been available since Apollo 17 flew back.
You can use the data from the LRO images the resolution is given to check sizes and distances this stuff was documented by NASA if you have photoshop or the free image software called GIMP these have tools to measure the number of pixels so you can check distances/sizes etc.
You can also look here at this video at 3:36 he overlays the NASA traverse map showing lander position relative to craters in the area etc it matches the LRO picture.
The pictures the astronauts took on the surface can also be compared to check positions of equipment etc.
What more evidence do you need!

I agree with you.
There was also a reporter, that asked one of the astronauts "What was it like up there" or something to the same nature.
The astronaut said, "Unbelieveable, just unbekievable".
When it comes to the photos though, I just can't make out anything I could describe as much more than some dots and lines on the surface of the moon.
Except the one photo I looked at, the craters looked upside down. There were none of shadows in them that you usually see on moon pictures. Could be lighting. Who knows?
