Have you been to Iran? You seem to be misinformed about what Iranian women wear. They are actually quite fashionable.

Most Iranian women choose to wear the manteau — a shoulder-padded, dark coloured, shapeless trench coat worn over long pants. Her hair must be entirely covered either with a scarf firmly tied or a maghneh, a hooded head covering, often worn by students. Click on the link below to see how fashionable they are. Please stop spreading misinformation about Iran, there is enough propaganda.

strange thing is a few years previous to the issues with the burqa , we had a hoodie fear campaign, part of me wonders if that was contrived to set the frameworks for this, either way we are in conflict with and occupying, primarily muslim nations , so no ,i wouldn't say on British soil no parties of any state or their allies ,currently in conflict with uk should be allowed to wear face coverings , headgear yeah but the uk is cctv central, when the rest of us aren't really allowed to cover our faces, we have to take our bike helmets and hoods down when entering many stores and all government buildings walking down the street with any face covering in my area at least is gonna attract a police stop and search unless its a burqua , then its a rights violation, maybe the question is really , , as an act of goodwill and a show of will to co operate and integrate shouldnt the muslim community hold off on their own burqa , as its a piece of cloth that is contributing to division amongst communities , surely getting along should be the priority , either way i find it unsettling , as i would a man in a balaclava on the high street ,especially to us in the UK a black face covering sort of reminds people of assasins and terrorism in many peoples living memory of conflicts concerning northern Ireland, it just aint currently a good idea is it? , maybe in years to come... maybe make some attempt to tighten up the divisions first . sigh :/

I don't personally like the Burqa. It's barbaric, primitive and yes, more things can be concealed within it.

BUT

You allow a government to dictate what you can or can't wear and next year it could be jeans, baggy tee shirts, hoodies, etc.

This is how freedoms are lost.

TPTB know us better then we know ourselves.

Give them fear, keep them on edge, make the masses scared, even if you have to do it by dishonest means.

I can only speak for myself, and I am one American, I note with respect, the opening thread poster is from another country so maybe things are different there.

But, I envision, if we keep going, a grey, dull, dreary world with never any sun light, (that banking commercial) where everyone is lined up with robotic expressions (no emotions) in grey suits and waiting in line at a bank.

I like waring baggy jeans and tunic tops. tight clothing is restrictive to me. I could easily conceal a bomb.

Once you restrict another person's freedom I have found that, that usually comes back to bite you.

TPTB and I've watched this in play in offices over 20+ years, TPTB know how to manipulate us. They pit us against each other.

There has got to be another way to ensure safety, but not by telling another person what they can and cannot wear.

Again, ban the Burqa today and tomorrow something else could be banned that effects you.

We keep getting more and more micro managed and the rest of you out there simply don't see it because it's being done so slowly so manipulatively by fear and distraction.

Yes, with America bombing and invading the Middle East for now over a decade, these folks are going to be hopping mad, after all we have left over 4 million orphans, countless widows, widowers, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, cherished loved ones blown apart.

Yes many of them are fanatically and some how, they have to be brought peacefully into the 21st century.

ALL NUCLEAR weapons should be dismantled and thrown away, far away, off planet away.

ALL BIOLOGICAL & CHEMICAL weapons should be dismantled and thrown away, far away and off planet.

We don't have a whole heck of a lot of time, I'm trying to respectfully warn you all that we as a species are like a bunch of cattle on a truck headed for the slaughter house and the rest of you keep thinking we're headed for Sunnydale Farm.

Again, we are being, year by year, micromanaged more and more.

I've watched bullies in various offices, pick a escape goat, cause havoc, (some crisis) carry out "stings" all for more power, all to ensure they and their power base stay around - and the majority go along blindly because they simply either get talked into it or they think they will benefit or swallow the fear kool-aid.

I wonder what the next false flag will be?

I wonder who really is doing some of this insane stuff?

Possibly, and this is again my opinion, I think whoever is at the top of the pyramid, whoever the real puppet masters are, are using fear, chaos, false flags and this in turn has caused many wars, murder, torture and again more chaos, and everyone to feel threatened.

"They" want to keep you all afraid, mad, hurt, angry, depressed.

Above all, "they" want to maintain and grow their power over all of us.

"They" create the problems, nurture the public's reaction, and have the masses believe they come up with the solutions where as it is "they" (whoever they are) have determined what the solution is and that solution is not really for the common person's benefit, it's for a select few's continuation of micromanaging us, restricting us further, inch by inch with fear.

In closing and I will offer no rebuttal for I've said what I came here to say as best as I can, you ban what another wears and that is really restricting another person's freedom of choice.

And yes, I saw my first Burqa today.

Creepy, almost like being thrown back 3,000 years ago, but you, me, everyone out there has no right to tell anyone what they can or can't wear as long as it is decent and doesn't show children a person's genitals.

TPTB keep distracting, dumbing us down and dividing us because that is how the few control the many.

Safe journey to all.

Peace, I wish and long for peace, for everyone to just play nice, share and stop acting like a bunch of spoiled, mean brats.

We have already allowed them to scan us naked into their data bases, grope us and our children, cameras on every street corner, wire tap our phones, in some countries, firewall complete search engines, and on and on it goes.

We need more freedoms restored, not more taken from us.

A slave that does not realize he/she is enslaved will never rebel.

A prisoner that does not realize he/she is imprisoned will never try to escape.

Again you all are being played and it is by fear they are doing it and feeding off it.

If things were more equal, the pie cut more evenly, if instead of a few elite having 3/4 of the pie while the rest of us fight over the remaining 1/4, maybe there would be less hatred and fear.

Preferably, the reasons for wearing the burqa should be addressed. Muslim men could try to comprehend that western nations are full of western men who are NOT going to be turned-on by seeing their wive's hair or faces. The women will not be raped because of showing their hair. Western men do not become so sexually aroused by a woman's hair that they are compelled to rape someone.

Muslim women who show their hair are more likely to be raped by other Muslim men due to this, because of the oppressive nature of their sexual beliefs. If they could become educated to the facts of what the human sex drive is, and is not, it would make for a far less angry world.

just to add though , its not wether they are hiding something or not for me, a bag is far more efficient and most people carry one , what concerns me the most is that it is an issue the media and politics can exploit very easily .
to what end i dont know , but race division seems to be the order of the day , if i had the power to utterly disarm or remove an issue of such importance so easily , id simply take it off hand it to the people who have an issue with it and apologise for any offence to show i gave a damn , if someone did that to me id give it back and say fair dos mate wear it if you like , before momentum takes it to a place where a law is passed and the issue forced with as you say a law that could be a gateway to more restrictions , or another member of my 'tribe' became a victim of my insistence to be inflexible or seperated from my neighbours , freedoms one thing , but when exercising certain non essential freedoms is causing the opposite reaction and leading to a possible forced removal of liberties and causing further divisions then its probably wise and moral to make a compromise , of course they should have the right to cover there faces , wether they should excersise that right or not in light of the issues is a more important question i think, is it worth leading it to where this is going , as im also seeing a growth in other provocative fabrics on the flipside , namely swastikas , could do without all of it is all i really know

I don't know about violating the "word", but the superstition certainly has taken a fast hold. I keep hoping that at some point it will "dawn" on them, that all the sexual anxieties they harbor are based on needless fear, and that it is possible to have a healthy, wholesome, normal sexual life, without all the crazy punishments and doom attached to it.

We are talking about a group that has such misconceptions and phobias about sex, they even imagine it in their afterlife, although we all agree that there is no physical body, or need for procreation in any perceived heavenly realm.

shame, im not entirely convinced that current western perceptions of sex and its meaning are helping how we are viewed either , were hardly role models , still in a position of finding ourselves and the roles we play after the 20th century, feminism, loss of family structures, lesser importance of religion etc , sometimes the media can make us out to be almost Sodom and Gomorrah, maybe at the moment we are , certainly feels that way on a weekend in town ,cant look to appealing to them when making a comparison

Agreed. Perhaps somewhere in the middle there is health..... emotionally and physically. It would be a nice goal to strive for, but nobody seems inclined towards change.
