Another solar flare - has it begun?

I think its good news the Sun is getting properly active again-It has been very quiet of late,and I believe the solar maximum was due to happen in 2011,but we have had a longer than normal solar minimum,so our maximum has been readjusted to 2012/13-if you catch my drift.


I can't wait to get a solar filter and start recording some solar activity.
