right now in Texas, our humidity is very high. We are expecting a tornadic front to come in, in about three hours, which is also, by the news, peak time for the magnetic energy field produced from this solar flare.
I am wondering if anyone can answer me this, when there is extreme weather and this energy field elevated, do the combo create more havoc?

I'm no expert, but from what I do know, there should be no effect on the weather at all.

I just found this article. Exploding Sun To Fuel 1000s Of Super-Tornadoes. Before It's News

I'm sure most of it is just over exaggerated, and fear mongering hype, but he does have some interesting ideas. Stay safe....

I think something is wrong very wrong.

Possibly some satellites are out of order.

I too am inclined to think that a possible massive assault on our magnetosphere could have consequences for thunderstorms with their electric currents. But it might as well extinguish storms as ignite them, I am no space -> weather expert at all. Luckily with my headache completely gone I can think more clearly. And I think Earth has been hit before by such storms, I doubt anything 'Ohmegad it will fry everything in its path! We are DooMed!' would happen. But it is always beneficial to keep a rather open mind and perhaps see new scientifically possible connections between space and Earth weather systems. Moscow is having a good cold snap with clear skies and temperatures down to minus fifteen degrees Celsius, but we are about to have a rapid heating in the coming day.

PS! Diamond, with that link do you mean the 'Heading toward a planet near you." Text, I found that rather funny. You know, space weather scientists can joke too. Other then that I could see nothing wrong in your provided graphs and charts.

Yes but never like this blackout.

But we will see maybe I am wrong.

****UPDATE**** (emphasis is mine)

Second Biggest Flare Of the Solar Cycle 03.07.12 UPDATE 03/07/12 2:30pm EST

NASA models using data from the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) and the Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) have now provided more information about the two CMEs associated with the two March 6 flares. The first is traveling faster than 1300 miles per second; the second more than 1100 miles per second. NASA's models predict that the CMEs will impact both Earth and Mars, as well as pass by several NASA spacecraft – Messenger, Spitzer, and STEREO-B. The models also predict that the leading edge of the first CME will reach Earth at about 1:25 AM EST on the morning of March 8 (plus or minus 7 hours). Such a CME could result in a severe geomagnetic storm, causing aurora at low latitudes, with possible disruption to high frequency radio communication, global positioning systems (GPS), and power grids.

But I thought it was expected to saturate some satelites, and some were shut down temporarily to protect them? This is only expected.

We have a very clear crisp night here in Christchurch NZ. There a couple of long swirlley clouds in the sky. Thats weird, I shouldent really see white swirlly fluffy things in the sky at night. What do the ATS experts think.

Maybe it's anomaly disruption from time to time.
