I got a glimmer of hope there, for a moment at least. "AdBlocker Plus, surely, is the cause!" Eh, no dice. Same with my other add-ons - the same problem persists with everything disabled, except flash of course.

Yes, I agree, Cheney's face is far too offensive for ATS.

This, however, is a recent discovery of mine - Rachel Maddow is in fact the 8th reincarnation of Gozer the Gozerian. Hopefully this is not a violation of the T&C, despite being positively horrid. Sometimes the truth is, though.

Thanks. Still not working though. I've tried with and without the .jpg extension, with/without the [jpg] [/jpg] brackets, with/without the full files.abovetopsecret.com URL, every possible permutation. Are you sure this actually works, that I can use an image that somebody else uploaded?

I still can't believe that ATS doesn't allow Mac users to upload any media. It's really just... beyond belief. Thanks again...

Yes, it's been done before, not only for avatars but for signatures too.
